Beautiful, clean, private sites separated by landscaped borders. Buildings, grounds, beach are immaculate. ALL of the staff are friendly and helpful. Text notices are sent to your phone to alert you to events - taco Thursday and trivia night, s’mores at the marina, ice cream at the pool etc. Nicely stocked on site store. DOG FRIENDLY.

We stay long term, have come seasonally for 20 years. The best campground in the country. Friendly staff and campers, wonderful facilities. We look forward to returning year after year.

Although Sugarloaf KOA is the most expensive KOA I have ever stayed at my stay was top notch. Pool, showers, landscaping(awesome by the way) and all kther amenities were beyond excaptional.

The beach sites are gorgeous! The whole park is gorgeous… we loved the pool area. The staff is amazing! We had such a great time!

Absolutely love it here. My only first world complaint is that the lounge chairs at the pool are beyond hard. I had to bring my yoga mat to soften them up a bit.

This was our first trip in our new RV and are so happy we chose Sugarloaf Key RV Resort. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly and constantly taking care of the resort, the public spaces were exceptionally maintained. The bar/restaurant staff are great, we had good food and drinks and we loved spending time at the pool, spa and the beach. The bar has been set very high! Thank you!

This was our first KOA stay and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The staff, facilities, and grounds were amazing. We have already decided this will be our Base Camp when we return to the Keys.

We had a fantastic stay! Facilities are very clean and manicured. Staff is kind, attentive and really seem to enjoy their jobs. Special thanks to Lore for dog walking, Randy for being the best bartender and to Bob for providing a Sunday morning relection. We are already looking forward to next year!

All was good. However being celiac there ate little to no gluten free options in your cafe. Gluten free breads/buns will last 4 weeks refrigerated so if you could make gf sandwiches, hamburger, hot dog, etc that would be nice. Also a frozen gf pizza would be a nice offering. Beautiful facility. Enjoyed our stay!

Very clean, very nice staff and the activities were amazing! Grill outs and pancake breakfast and s’mores by the campfire, ice cream social. Great for kids! Loved having a grill/bar on site too

This is our second stay, the first was in May of 2021. Our beach site, 1006 is outstanding (we had 1003 in 2001). Staff is helpful, pleasant and fun, in that order. Special events were great, Sugarlloaf Key gets our vote for “Best” KOA. Like James Bond, we shall be back…

Beautiful campground! Sites are big rig friendly and are well landscaped. Very large pool and hot tub. Staff is super friendly. I booked for 4 nights and kept adding on because I liked it there so much. Randy, one of the bartenders, was super friendly and made fantastic drinks. Always something to do ever night at th he pool bar. Especially liked trivia and music trivia nights. 35 min to Key West.

Beautiful facility. Excellent sized sites. Very clean and very friendly staff. The campground is the destination. With all the amenities, and activities, you dont have to leave the grounds. Very close to Key West and many local restaurants and bars. Already made arrangements for next year's stay.

This KOA is my favorite so far! It’s clean, well kept, the staff are great, and the bar is so fun. The spots are a little on the small side compared to some but there was just enough room. We are hopeful that we get to come back next year!

Great Stay with a Fun Atmosphere! We had a fantastic time! The pool was refreshing, the bar had tasty drinks and the people—both guests and staff—were wonderful. The location was perfect for exploring while still feeling like a getaway. A great spot we’d happily return to! Sugarloaf

As always, the staff at Sugarloaf Key was outstanding. They are friendly and helpful, making sure everything is done to make sure you are satisfied. The facility is five star, and the best we’ve ever stayed at.

Top notch KOA, including the helpful/friendly employees, BUT big problem was noseeums night AND all day. Landscaping and foliage was meticulously maintained and looked beautiful, but is a breeding haven for noseeums and our legs got covered with dozens of bites despite using bug spray bought in their store. Less foliage would reduce noseeums that cause a miserable experience.

A great place to stay! Everyone was kind courteous and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with one exception. A KOA employee was helping a large Motor Coach into their site and ran into my new pickup. Guy was young but I believe a good kid that was possibly not quite experienced enough yet??? We didn’t have a very good experience with the manager on duty and I’ll let it go at that!

The ends of site are too narrow with all the bushes and rocks so had to climb around them each time to get past our door. Even tried to pull back as far as we could. Then had to climb over big rocks and squeeze between bushes to get out of back side. Love the privacy of foliage though. Ends just need to be trimmed back and widened.

This is the most beautiful KOA in the entire USA, and we have traveled all across the lower 48. The staff are very gracious, helpful, and caring. The amenities and activities add much to the joy of being here.

Loved it all except for the bug bites that I would have appreciated a heads up at check in. Convenient for a trip into key west. Met some very happy repeat campers. Lovely private camp sites ..wish we could have sat outside and enjoyed it.

Nice place biting noseeums are horrible they should warn people about them you don't even know you are bit till too late we are on our way home 4 days after we left still itching have tried all sorts of stuff benadryl camphor lotions kinda ruined our vacation will not be back

Beautiful resort. Pool and clubhouse are over the top. Attended most of the activities and night entertainment. Song bingo was so much fun! Showers great, wish they had more hooks though. Location to Key West is perfect. Small beach a real plus as many Keys resorts do not have beaches. Do not like the $100 site booking fee. Other KOAs only charge $25.

Absolutely one of the best resorts that we have come across during our cross country trip. The place is clean with beautiful landscaping and great amenities. The bathrooms are spotless. The staff if one of the best we have experience friendly and helpful. It clear they take pride in keeping their resort clean. The mosquitoes were definitely a problem but no fault of the resort. We constantly saw employees spraying trying to manage them. So my only advice would be to bring a lot of mosquito repellent if you want to enjoy the outdoors and the amenities the resort has to offer.

Ein wunderschöner Stellplatz wir waren dort vor ein paar Wochen und es was super schön die Leute sind extrem nett der Platz ist sauber und die Leute sehr freundlich. Mit dem Uber nach key West sind es zwischen 20-30 Minuten!
