Fantastic staff, beautiful big sites, campground is amazing, just one problem with miscommunication between staff members but other then that 10 out of 10.

5th stay after Irma, great fix-loved it. This year-complete reversal. Additional hotel now in full operation overwhelmed amenities on scale for RVs. Crowd in the pool. Pub understaffed. Quaint beach now too small. Fishing area dirty, attracting flies. Boat ramp traffic constant, and lining the road outside. Pristine sites falling off. Employees still wonderful. We have to find a new spot.

I booked and paid for a pull-through site, but upon arrival, I was placed in a back-in site without notice. When I called the office, they acknowledged the mistake and moved me, only to call me back later demanding an upcharge balance. They blamed it on a "system pricing error." The manager refused to resolve the issue, insisting that it was an employee who was new that made the error.

The Sugar Loaf KOA is a beautiful and clean campground. The staff was very friendly and there were alot of amenities inside the campground. This is a 5 star resort at a reasonable price.

We had a great time! We love the beach area, the pool and the pub! Beautiful place! We go every year and it was our first time getting waterfront which was wonderful! And now you also rent golf carts which is super awesome! My granddaughter’s time there and she loved it!!! Thank you

We enjoyed all the amenities you would expect to find in a resort. Staff was helpful and friendly, park was immaculate, and conveniently located to many major attractions.

Great staff. Grounds are well manicured. Each site is private and of ample size and easy for big rigs to maneuver around. The staff and campground should be the model for all KOAs.

Stayed for 17 days in June 2026. Had not been to this campground since 2008 so was incredible to see the remodel with all the new facilities. Top notch for a campground and the staff was very helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

This is probably one of the best KOA's we have ever stayed at. Also it is so close to the beaches and the things to see. And the areas key lime pie is to die for.

It was a wonderful stay, from check in to departure day we had a great time. We did wish the site was a tad wider but we explored some of the wider ones for when we book our next stay. Music bingo was fun, the pool area was just perfection after a day of exploring and the friendly staff and beautiful surroundings were just the icing on top of the cake. Thank You Sugarloaf KOA!!

We loved our 1st visit here with the RV. The kayak launch site was a plus which we took advantage of and kayaked across the waterway to find mangrove tunnels. My daughter stayed in the hotel which very nice and a huge plus for family that do not have an RV. We had no issues with mosquitoes which was nice. We would highly recommend and visit again.

We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed every minute! The private beach with toys for the kids was a huge win for our family. The privacy between sites was so wonderful and really gave a tropical feel to our whole vacation. We will be coming back!

We plan a trip every year to this KOA and it never disappoints!! Family friendly KOA with great amenities and even greater staff!! Everyone working at this KOA is so friendly to the vacationers and we will continue to go every year for the wonderful staff and atmosphere!

Muy limpio los baños, excelente la piscina lo unico seria que le den mas mantenimiento a la playa ahh dejan estar con mascotas pero ni a la playa pueden entrar. Es preferible que no acepten su estancia porque cuando no pueden entrar a ningun sitio ( entiendo la piscina) nos limitan a los dueños a disfrutar de resort

All staff we encountered (many!) were so pleasant! The campground is the cleanest and nicest of any we’ve ever seen. The pool and pub area is SPECTACULAR! Cannot find anything to not love about this place.

It was amazing. The staff was really nice. It was very quiet. The showers didn’t have great water pressure but overall it was great.

Very nice people, very calm area. The pool is fantastic and à great effort of entertainement for everybody. Many activities proposed. Nice rest on the private beach. Key West is not far away. We went by bus to avoid moving our truck. Very relaxing and we enjoyed our visit.

One shower in the men’s was not working the day we arrived. It was repaired while there. Also the pool was shut down and no reason was given. It did reopen during our stay.

We enjoyed your park but please know your dog park is dangerous.The artificial grass is old and was burning hot when we went yesterday and my pup burnt his paws .. the roads were not Hot just the artificial grass and it was extremely hot to touch. We ran out of the park and had to soak his paws in cool water.Also it was very expensive and to not have pool access for the entire day left me confined

We tented this stay, make sure you have small screen opening for the no-seeums, our tent didn't so the night wasn't great, wish we had a heads up about that. Tent Sites was nice with over cover. Restrooms were nice, pool look nice, but did not use. Stayed at this koa years ago, wish they still had the camper to rent. We would of picked that if it was a option still.

Rained every day. Pool was out because of some bacteria and help had to come from Miami, about 150 miles away.. Club and Cafe were excellent! ALL employees had a super attitude. Not bad biscuits and gravy.. wifi was excellent with multiple repeaters throughout the park. Spaces are pretty tight unless you opt for the $$$$ patio sites. From check in to check out the staff was most helpful.

A hidden gem! With just a short drive from Key West and several local hot spots within minutes. This is the perfect place to get away. Clean amenities and friendly Staff (Shoutout to Elizabeth!) with plenty to do. Different stay options from RV to Cottages make this place perfect for families looking to get away and a great option for Pet Owners!

Bravo!!👏🏼 the staff is so friendly and helpful. There were plenty around if you needed something. The grounds are well kept. They keep this place clean. The bathrooms were immaculate. The dog park was also clean and well maintained. This place still cares about the customer and the customer's experience! A+

Spotless, well-organized, and beautifully run. Check-in was quick, the facilities are immaculate, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Great location and family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
