The staff were truly top-notch; they were super friendly, quickly oriented us, and even had three team members skillfully guide our large rig into the tight spot. This is a true resort setting with beach access, a marina, tropical landscaping, an excellent pool, hot tub, bar, and cafe. 2nd best KOA in the USA for us.

Resort was in immaculate condition. Sites were very private for a small space. The best mixture of landscaping we’ve ever seen and perfectly arranged and manicured to give private island feel. Tables at site were warped wood and would be a nice upgrade but didn’t affect our stay or opinion. Staff was amazing!

Let’s just say that we stayed there in 2024. Loved it so we came back in 2025. We are already looking at our calendar for 2026. Grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. The staff couldn’t be any better.

We have stayed here several times and will continue to come back. It is the best KOA period. It is the only KOA you never have to leave. It has everything from the beach to the pool. In addition, it has outstanding food and evening entertainment. The rest areas are cleaner than most homes and the staff is second to none. Easy registration with a wonderful staff. KOA patio site with a water view was beautiful. Site provided plenty of shade and room. Pool area/pub was great providing refreshing drinks and dunks in the pool. If I have to list a negative, it would be the need to power wash the patio to remove the mold from the patio blocks.

We loved the campground gardens and bush fences between each of the camp sites. The bathrooms were the best we've ever seen at a KOA. Everything is working order and very clean. Lots to do if you wanted to just stay at the KOA and not drive anywhere. But extremely close to Key West and Bahia Honda Key, where the state park is phenomenal with three beaches and lots of trails.

The campground is beautiful. The entire staff is very friendly. We want to thank all the employees there for making us feel very welcoming since we walked inn the door at arrival. Peter was very helpful from parking us and for helping us out when our refridge stopped working. The Bartender Randy was very friendly and remembered our drinks every time we visited the bar. I cant forget Brian too.

Everything at this campground is top-notch! The cleanliness, the perfect landscaping, the kindness and helpfulness of the whole staff. We love everything about this KOA, which is why we stay there every time we visit the Florida Keys.

Absolutely the best vacation we have had in staying at this campground.Everyone was so very nice but especially Randy and Brian they were the best!! They need to be acknowledged first everything they did for us!!! We will hopefully be back next October!

The Wi-Fi was not the best and my wife works remotely. Therefore, this created somewhat of a problem. We received an email offering us a discount to extend our stay but u fortunately because of the Wi-Di issue we couldn’t stay longer. Also, 2 days when we wanted to use the pool it was closed. This KOA is really impressive!! One of the best we have stayed in during our 4 years of traveling. Amenities are top notch! RV sites are pristine and private with all the foliage surrounding each site. Felt like paradise!! Thank you for doing a great job!!

Staff went above and beyond to make the stay an awesome experience! One of the guys gave me a trailer lock of his own so I could lock my trailer hitch up bc I had to leave it out front! Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, wonderful wonderful stay at KOA Sugarloaf. I have never been greeted so kindly at any other RV Resort ever Brian was the life of the Campground told us thank you for coming. He was so glad we were there. What a wonderful wonderful guy nothing but kudos for Brian.

Stay was nice. Weather wasn’t great but that is no one’s fault but part of the experience. Clean well maintained RV Resort. We enjoyed our stay.

This was probably the best KOA I have ever stayed. Clean, great amenities, great employees. They always great you no matter where you are in the campground and always with a smile. Whole family came and we had two sites and a hotel room. Hotel is awesome and so are the sites. Overall fabulous experience and great location to everything!

Great place to be in paradise! Staffing and services were excellent. If you want to relax this is the place to be. Only 20 minutes from Key West. 🌴🌺🍍🍹
