The resort is well kept - clean & neat. The surroundings are beautiful. The staff kept up on everything and were very friendly. I can’t wait to return soon.

It is a lovely campground, staff always caring about each of the sites and tending to the beach, stones in the road! Pool is a lovely area, nice to have a bar and food options if desired.

The bar needs the burning lamp to ward off the noseethem bugs. They left welts all over my legs.

This KOA is very clean and appealing. The surroundings are beautiful. The staff has been extremely friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this resort and will come back again. Just a short trip into downtown Key West.

The facility is immaculate, the staff helpful and knowledgeable. This site is possibly the best KOA we have stayed at in 35 years.

As always, grounds and facilities look great, staff was excellent. Only problem we had was the music at the pool/bar runs all night, maybe just a glitch but our site was right across on site 210 so it was noticeable - didn’t prevent sleeping but the temps were cool and having the windows open was noisy and we just closed them and ran the fan. Otherwise, another great stay!

This by far is the BEST vacation resort we have ever stayed at! The RV lots are BEAUTIFUL! The grounds are immaculate, and everything is well-maintained, clean, and sanitary, from the restrooms, the showers, the pool, etc. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the resort and surrounding areas. We love it there and will definitely be back!

Incredible stay and facilities. Very clean and everything is new. The landscaping was incredible. All amenities are incredible which includes the pool, café, pub and marina. Everyone we met we as nice as apple pie. I would recommend this KOA to all !!!!

Had a wonderful time. Sugarloaf Key KOA was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The suite we stayed in was great. I plan on returning next winter if I can afford it. The only thing is I wish I could have enjoyed my evening cigar on the patio. It is so very nice and private. I know some smokers can be messy, but I always brought a broom to the designated smoking area to clean

We stayed at this property twice in the past; once in 2006 and once in 2012. While we enjoyed the property during those visits to the Keys, this newly rebuilt property is FAR superior. The people were amazing, and the new hotel rooms are fantastic. The pool and bar area are much nicer, and the bathrooms spotless. I can not say enough about how wonderful this place is!

This campground is paradise . The grounds, the bathrooms/showers are spotless and the work campers are amazing. You can tell there is a lot of love put into this location . So grateful for such an amazing experience here . Thank you !

Site 614 was a little tight side to side. Pool/pub was outstanding! Every park employee always seemed to be willing to go out of their way to help. Next time we’ll forget Key West and just enjoy the KOA!

My sister recommended that I choose a campsite next to a palm tree, facing the river at the back, and I could see the bridge and boats. I have booked reservations a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected at all, and it was the highest-priced campsite I booked during our trip.

The no-see-um bugs were everywhere on the property, we stayed for one night out of three that we reserved because of the bug issue. Otherwise the grounds were well maintained and sites are well equipped.

This KOA was the best we’ve ever stayed at . The staff were friendly, helpful respectful and courteous. Thankyou to Lisa for a copy of the S’mores menu. The S’mores on Sunday evening were delicious! This was our first real camping trip and it was great. The campground was super clean, our site was perfect. The staff were all super friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amenities are all encompassing. You really have no reason to leave! Yet, close enough to Key West to still enjoy the Conch Republic! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I love how the garbage pick up works! And, delivery services are quite helpful! Ashley, the bartendress, is awesome! The tropical surroundings lends itself to cozy little campsites! We had bananas growing in “our” trees!

We left our Rv in Fort Lauderdale and rode down on the motorbike, we stayed in the apartments that sleep 4. We were blown away by the accommodations and the Pool and the Resort. It was pricey because you are in the Keys but absolutely beautiful resort we would definitely bring our RV here although we could only afford to stay for a week.

The park is nice and new, lots of landscaping between sites, but the landscaping and sprinklers have attracted a lot of mosquitoes and no-see-ums. They were relentless! We had citronella candles, bug spray foggers, and three different bug sprays. Nothing worked, we couldn't even go outside. Pool was nice, staff friendly. Food at the pub/cafe was not worth the price.

It’s one of the best KOA’s in the US. A very enjoyable place….great pool/hot tub area. Wonderful pool bar. We already booked for next year.

The biting gnats keep you from sitting outside the RV, and we even got bites at the bar. Deep Woods off does not work! If camping near the pool and bar, music is going on from morning til 10 pm. Otherwise, it is a beautiful place to stay.

The most pristine campground I’ve ever seen! Impeccable customer service and absolutely gorgeous landscaping. Couldn’t stop talking about how amazing everything was. Bathrooms were incredibly clean too! Wow!!

We are in a class A pulling a utility trailer. Our spot is a pull thru with lush plants giving our patio area lots of privacy. We are one row off the channel with a beautiful view of the water. The service here is spectacular. They lead us to our spot and helped my husband to be sure he pulled in to the right depth. There is a nice pool, hot tub, and bar with a full food menu. There are all sorts of other activities here too. It really is its own little paradise!

Well I'm firmly planted on the Gulf Coast south of Houston and was really looking for current prices, and suddenly Google wants a review. However, as an ex resident of S Florida I've been to Sugarloaf KOA and many others and have never had a bad experience

This is our 2nd year at Sugarloaf Key!! It is absolutely beautiful!! We love the waterfront sites! The pool is amazing, and there is a bar. They also have food, which is great when you just don't feel like cooking! The staff here are so friendly and helpful, every single person has greeted us with a smile!! We love this place! It is very convenient to Key West. They have boat rentals and kayaks. It is very safe, and I never feel like I need to worry about our stuff.
