I was surprised how small the spaces were. Thanks to our escort the agree the assigned space was too small. Otherwise the stay was good.

We had the best time. Staff was pleasant and campground was clean. It was the perfect getaway. More floats were being put out on the beach as we were pulling out so we will have to revisit just for the floats!

We had a great time staying in sugarloaf KOA. Clean, and very lush landscape. Super friendly workers. Big laundry facilities and pool with Bar was a lot of fun. Enjoyed the music too

The campground is clean, site are a good size, and provide privacy from the surrounding trees/plants. The bar is nice with good food and drinks. The pool area is nice, the water temp felt like bath water which wasn’t refreshing in almost 100 degree heat but with that being my only complaint, the place is well kept and fun!

We had to leave early due to the mosquitoes/"noseeums" and the heat. The tent sites are set over cement slab and they are covered with a canvas canopy. This set up traps the heat inside the tent with no air flow to remediate it due to the overgrown shrubs to the back of the tent sites. This might work in the winter months NOT AT ALL IN THE SUMMER. Money was returned- we will be back in the winter.

We stayed a week with family. It was fabulous! The most beautiful KOA we’ve been to. Sites are beautifully landscaped. Pool and restaurant are amazing. The staff…everyone was so friendly and kind!!! We will be back!

Family had an amazing stay!! Everything at the campgrounds was clean, staff was friendly, loved the landscaping and shade the trees provided. The only negative was the noseeums but that’s out of their control.

This koa is so beautiful. We traveled from Tampa, and we were not disappointed. Everything was immaculate; from the staff, campsite, pool area. Best Koa thus far. The only negative, is its so far.. Thanks, for a wonderful time

We stayed for 4 nights and our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer! Absolutely beautiful! Staff was very attentive! Will be back again!!

We had a spot with kayak launch. The park was very clean and the landscaping was immaculate, we really appreciated the sense of privacy that the landscaping provided. Staff was friendly. Pet area was clean and well kept, although I wish they had offered dedicated camp k9 spots as some other resorts do. 25 minutes from Key West. Will stay again in the future.

Very good customer service. Clean grounds and excellent Wi-Fi. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. They could scale back the drink prices a but. Sites are a bit tight to get in/out for large rigs.

Very nice facilities, great location. very attentive and polite staff throughout. One point: the pool was HOT!. I understand heating it during the wintertime, when the ocean/bay might be too cold to swim in. However, with the temperature in the high 90's, it would have been nice to be able to cool off a bit in the pool. Thank you Bob Villa

Wonderful landscaping and friendly staff. A little sad that the inflatable pyramid is no longer there, but the skids still enjoyed snorkeling the beach and swimming in the pool.

We spent a great week at the KOA in Sugarloaf Key as our home base for visiting Key West. Being a Parret-Head, a trip to Ket West was inevitable

It was a beautiful location. The only thing that I’d recommend is walking campsite between campers. We had several cigarette butts at our site upon arrival.

Very well keep RV park. We were staying on site 806 and the landscaping around the site was outstanding. We felt that our site was it's own tropical island. The pool area was so private than again you were in paradise. A+++. The band that played for the holiday weekend was amazing ( The Marshall Morlock band). If you are visiting the Keys this is a must stay . Great staff as well

All went well. The only drawback is there is no place for dogs to go potty inside the park. When it is hot, your dog has to walk on the hot blacktop to go to the bathroom. Also, bar area is great, but drinks are way overpriced. If you offered cocktails at the price of nearby bars, I think you would garner a lot more business at the bar.

The best campsite we stayed at so far. Beautifully designed, the poolside bar and entertainment are great, and there were activities all weekend long. We will definitely be back!

The staff and overall conditions were very nice. The two downsides were the mosquitos and no see ums for the morning and evening (about 1.5 hours each) and the dog park that did not have specific hours of use. The bugs were terrible - the facility tried but must be that they are situated right next to jungle that you were eaten alive. Had dogs fighting with each other as early as 5 am.

Very nice place but there were so many cars parked all over the place. Our neighbor had 2 vehicles and one of them was going to be in the way of our leaving. We had to ask them to move the car

Landscaping beautiful. Pool was so crowded with no room to even swim . We had two mornings at 8 am to swim only time. So many drunks at pool so loud at night. Not a place to relax. It’s for partying. I would not recommend. Very disappointed.

CLEAN and QUIET. Recently stayed for a week, with my wife and mother in a R.V. (Thor Four Winds) My favorite feature was the privacy between hookups created by trees/bushes/plants. The bathrooms and showers were always clean and fresh smelling. That was for the entirety of my week there. Not once was it gross. That's impressive. The bar area is nice, covered with plenty of seating. The pool was nice, and the temperature was never too cold. They have a neat area covered in palms with hammocks, a great nap station. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. All things said, I would return. Also, driving by a lot of other RV sites, none of them looked as nice as the KOA.

The only thing I wish we knew about was the mosquitoes and nats. Other then that the pool was gorgeous and the hammock area was amazing and by the docks are so many beautiful fish 🐠🐟. We will be coming back just with more than bug spray.
