I have stayed here 3 times. I would make this a long stay location. The staff is excellent, and the location and park itself is great. However on my last stay in a deluxe cabin there was food left in the refrigerator and many ants in the room. This will not deter me from staying here again. The friendliness of the staff supersedes anything else.

This is a beautiful campground. The road in is a bit challenging if you have a larger rig but it is worth it. The shower facility is one of the best we have been to. We are already planning an extended stay at this park. There is lots to do in the area.

Felt like home … a nice & clean place. Good selections of Route 66 merchandise in the shop, and we loved the pizza over there! �ϋ�

The camp grounds were nice and the people were friendly. I did not like the showers . Not a good shower head and the water sprayed Al over the floor including the change area so you could not step on dry floor. Hard to get dressed with wet feet. Need a small wall to separate shower area from dressing area

Great staff - they really make you feel at home. Food is great and the ownership is really making some upgrades. Excellent place to camp/stay!

Nice CG and friendly staff. Only issue was the fact that it was right alongside a very active railway (not that the park can control the schedule). Would stay there again.

The staff was very helpfull but the train crossing is a nightmare (literally). The trains (I counted 6 between 9 pm and 6 am) blow their horns up to twelve times each (we couldn't sleep, so counting train horns was the only option other than pulling up camp in the middle of the night!). When we asked the checkin desk about the train crossing, they assured us it would not be any noise. WRONG.

Stayed two nights in pull through deluxe patio site. Long enough for our 40’ coach and tow vehicle without unhooking. Lovely grass area by the site. Older campground but well maintained. Staff was very friendly.

The campground was well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were clean and there was plenty of trees for shade. The only problem was the train. I would have rated a 10 and five stars if it wasn't for the train. Hopefully you can petition to get crossing gates so the train don't have to blow the whistle.

stayed 2 nights in our 5th wheel. Lot was plenty long for our rig, pulling a SxS behind 5vr. Staff was friendly & helpful. Older established KOA but kept in good shape. Plenty of shade trees. Have stayed here several times and will be back.

My wife and I have always enjoyed staying at KOA's. This stay was marred by a $2.00 fee to put air in my front tires. It just offends me to have to pay for air!!!

We had a truck breakdown and needed a campsite to deal with this. Cam and his crew plus Cherry and Roy where extremely helpful, understanding and went out of their way to assist anywhere they could. This made our troublesome truck breakdown a lot easier and made all the difference in an otherwise stressful situation. THANKS to all of the KOA Springfield, MO, staff! Knut and Gerda Buschmann

First off let me say I didn't have the privilege to stay with KOA , Springfield I'm having plumbing problems at my house 🏠 for the next few days, that being said I was there with the wife to take a shower while ours is down and KOA did not disappoint 🙂👍 The bathrooms and the showers were clean neat and well kept like the rest of the campground and camp sites . The showers for both of us were only $10.00 nice managers, nice people, nice place. Very grateful for the showers today we will be back later in the week 👍 Thanks.

Friendly staff, nicely maintained grounds and facilities. Downside is the train tracks that run along one side of the grounds.

I've returned to KOA several times over the past year and I must say that the customer service at the front desk is truly outstanding. These individuals are always friendly, fast, and courteous. At this point, we know each other as I always stop by to pick up one of their delicious Hunts Pizza, but recently they put me on to their wings. Solid place to grab a bite to eat, and if their campground services are as good as their food, then you won't be disappointed here!
