Christian Home School Basketball National Championships
The 29th Annual National Christian HomeSchool Basketball Championships will be held in Springfield, Missouri March 14-20, 2021. The 29th Annual has HomeSchool players from 26 States. Almost 350 teams, including Florida, California, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota and virtually every state in between where HomeSchool Basketball is Played.
Presented by the Greater Springfield Sports Commission, the event will feature teams of HomeSchool players from across the United States and includes contests in elementary, junior high school, junior varsity, and varsity age groups.
Artsfest on Walnut Street
Artsfest is the largest outdoor arts festival in Southwest Missouri – featuring over 120 artists from all over the country, live entertainment and performances, delicious food from some of Springfield's favorite restaurants and food vendors, and a kids hands-on area with activities, including interactive murals and the Clay-Mobile, a mobile ceramic arts workshop.

Ozark Empire Fair
Delectable funnel cakes, sizzling turkey legs, savory corn dogs and sweet, fizzy root beer. These are the tastes of summer and they can all be found in one place--the 82nd annual Ozark Empire Fair. Visitors from Missouri and surrounding states flock to the Ozarks' largest summer party to indulge in tasty fair treats, exhilarating midway rides, craft and vendor showcases, competitions and livestock exhibits. Multiple stages and arenas highlight thrilling tractor/truck pulls, demolition derbies and musical acts, including a featured performance by Toby Mac at the KY3 Grandstand on July 29.
