Excellent stay and customer service. Very friendly

The best part is that it is more affordable than a hotel, BUT the spots are very close together-VERY close. The neighbors on all sides were partying loudly all night, i did text the number provided and didnt notice it quieted down until 2-3 am. Bathrooms were nice, assuming you could get into one, Usually had to try 3-4 attempts to get into the showers, they could use more units.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. Our value sites are a great price option, but they are our tightest spots. We recommend upgrading to a different site type for more room to move around on your next stay. Feel free to give our guest services team a call. They are always happy to help!

This KOA is very clean, up grades are great. A fishing peer would be great for only the customers to use . Being that the old peer is 3 miles away across the bay.

Very friendly staff! They have SO MANY amenities but We didn’t get to try them all! They have fun little activities that involves all the visitors which makes it so much more welcoming. Wished the visitors would pick up after their animals but overall such an amazing atmosphere. I’d say this is a great choice !!!

We had one of the RV sites on their peninsula! Had an amazing view of sunrises & sunsets!! We were there for Father’s Day weekend & they had a variety of events, ie., pancake breakfast & donuts! They would d en send us a text to remind us of the different events! This park was so clean, with some great amenities!! Can’t wait to come back!

Clean, organized and nice to look at. There’s a lot more to the campgrounds that aren’t in the website. The daily activities are a nice touch for a better sense of community. Pool water looked a bit cloudy though but seemed clean.

The staff is always amazing. Dottie is a true asset to the campground

The workers were exceptional! Everyone was very helpful and kind. We were disappointed in the site we had. Very close to neighbors and no fire pit. I’ve never camped where we didn’t have a place to cook hotdogs and s’mores.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. We are sorry that you were disappointed by the absence of a fire feature at your site. Sadly, most of our sites are unable to offer this option. We have installed three community fire features around the park so no one misses out on that part of the camping experience.

Excellent

Very nice place overall. Much nicer and well maintained RV spaces and grounds than Isla Blanca. Isla Blanca does win on location . Very friendly staff at the KOA .

i spoke to one of maintenance crew abou the men restroom. there was no toilet paper at all, and had to get towels from the napkins dispenser. Also papers on the floor since basket was full. he told me that it was because they had full house. other than that swimming pool n places were clean,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Office staff was courteous, helpful, and polite. Internet worked great. There were some power outages throughout the campground we were informed about, but luckily we were not affected. Our only complaint would be the noisy land/sea airboat that kept coming by our side of the campground every morning around 7am. Not sure if it was a tour, or a coast guard boat?

Everything was wonderful, including staff.

We have stayed in this park for years. This year they got rid of cable tv. Put in a new gym but it is so small only 1 person can work out comfortably in the room. For the first month the hot tub was not open. Prices are going up and services going down.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for staying with us. Sorry about the hot tub closure. The deck & hot tub have received some much needed love. We invested in faster WIFI for streaming to combat our loss of cable TV. Our cable was a constant issue for us and our guests. Please reach out to discuss. [email protected].

Complicated, jump through the hoop type discount periods.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for staying with us. I apologize for the confusion with our discounts. Most of them don't allow use on holiday weekends. Your stay was over Memorial Day, so that's likely the problem. I'm glad you were able to use the Extend your stay deal though! Please come stay again soon.

We came for the windsurfing and it was plenty windy. Enjoyed the pool. Missed the restaurant. Love the colorful Adirondack furniture. It was great not having to memorize a pass code. See you all next summer.

Women’s restroom could’ve been a but more clean.

The RV park is extremely well-maintained and in an absolutely beautiful location. We were in the new section and the Wi-Fi does not really work in that section for some reason. I am assuming it is being worked on. The only downside is the bar nearby that plays really loud music laid into the night. There is nothing the RV park can do about that.

A little pricey for no internet. The new area we stayed in was wonderful until people .came out of no where to fish. Golf carts everywhere, kids running around and loud music. I really don't complain but you asked. To be perfectly honest, I don't think they were residents.

Very pretty campsite. We got the last waterfront slot 306. Nice breeze, nice view of sunset on their rocker for two. Nice chairs to sit on. Apparently a lot of people like to fish in that side. There is a sign that they can't pass so they are not at your campsite, but they are close by. Once a family with 4 kids were loud. I was trying to enjoy the breeze and read. We had an issue that because we were a bit inclined down towards the water, our septic tubes were not angled enough. When we hooked up to leave, we moved trailer to street about 5 feet so we can do the dump. Lots of washers & dryers, small cold exercise room, I used treadmill once. They have a nice outdoor area outside of community center with a pretty gas fireplace. Pool looks nice, we didn't get in. Good Internet. They have 4 showers, with toilets. My gripe there is that there is no shade in the afternoon to wait for one to be open. At 4:30 pm, it was hot. I wouldn't mind a stand up umbrella out there. And I don't like how the shower water comes out to the toilet area. There is no shower lip and the shower curtain is short. They need a longer inside clear plastic liner maybe. Short drive to Isla Blanca Park. Cost $12 to get in. There is a nice long beach. They have a Pavilion with hot dogs, snacks & drinks. Another time we tried free Beach Access #4 because it had a restroom in the parking lot. But not much parking in these beach accesses, you have to go early. It's a 7 1/2 hr drive for us, so don't know if we'll go back, but we liked it. If we do, we might try a pull thru.

The KOA was nice whereas you are close to the beach. However, the sites are very tight. If you have a rig that is longer than 40 feet (our rig is 46 feet), avoid sites 114 to 116 (there may be more sites but these are the ones that we noticed). While they offer pull-thru ability, again, they are very tight. We were in site 116 and there is a palm tree that is growing almost sideways instead of straight up. This will pose a problem for any good size rig while pulling in. Another person had to come over and pull on the tree in order for us to pull the RV past the tree. This palm tree really needs to be cut down. Another reason parking in these particular sites are challenging is due to the amount of cars that park in the street. There are a lot of owners who will park their vehicles with half on their site and the other half hanging over in the street. This only adds to the tight feel of the park. Next time we visit, we will try the more expensive sites to see if that will be a difference. We were in one of the pull-thru sites with a patio and upgraded furniture. The price was $105 a night but the weekend is a bit more expensive and we paid $115 for Friday (we stayed from Sunday-Friday). The park offers a ton of activities, if you want to participate with any of that kind of stuff. My husband did visit the fitness center and said it was nice for what it is.
