Our stay was great. The kitchen table legs need to be tightened maybe with just putting a toothpick in the bolt hole to have the screws have a little more to grip onto. Very clean and staff was great. Oh I do not know what we could have done differently- it was hard to get all the sand up. Would a swiffer have worked? -I have never used one. Thank you again.

Staff is amazing and super courtesy and kind. The park itself is always so tidy and clean even with construction going on. First thing in the morning staff is riding around to make sure everything is clean and ready for the day. I've had the pleasure for staying quite a few times and I will keep coming back ��

We stayed in a deluxe kabin for three nights. The 2 star rating is based mainly on two factors; 1) for an average of $200 per night we expected more, and 2) the entire interior floor of our kabin was squishy and saggy with sink holes, especially in the bathroom which would sink down 3" when stepped on. We had to request an extra entry door mat to place over the 3" sink hole to keep from cutting ou

The campground staff were awesome and so friendly. We stayed in one of the cabins which was super fun. The only negative thing I could say was that the bathroom floor of our cabin was very soft (possibly due to past water damage?) and needs to be fixed. The tub area needs some love as well, but our stay was fabulous!!!

First time I have stayed at a KOA since I was a kid. Had my twin 6 year olds with me and couldn't have had a better time or felt safer doing it. We rode bikes to the beach every morning and chilled at the pool all afternoon. Couldn't have been better. Planning the next trip.

Honestly disappointed in cabin. No heater, just a cheap plug-in electric heater. Shower didn't have hot water, just warm. Had to walk to shower room for shower. Floor in bathroom was rotten and soft, thankfully the fake wood floor was enough to keep from falling through. Truly expected more.

it needs alot update it was 60degree very little heat had to buy a heater to keep warm bed need to be replaced couch is like getting off the floor you got told very little help

Constant headache from perfume spray box. No dishes or silverware. TV too small and placed on wrong wall. Dirty….unit was surface cleaned. Bathroom fan. Outside furniture and area was dirty. You need a high observation deck and premium sites for viewing launches. A coded lock gate on south side to walk to restaurants and boats.

Great experience. Dottie was terrific. She went out of her way to get me the unit I requested. The only suggestion is to fix the loft and bedroom air conditioners to where you can adjust the thermostat and/or leave direction on how to adjust them. Had to unplug them to turn them off in the evening. Unit LL36.

It was cute.... The main TV sounded like the speakers were busted though. The bunked room stayed really warm so luckily we had a fan to put in there:) it needs a little tlc in the bathroom shower and sink. The table was super wobbly so we had to be careful when sitting down to eat and make sure nobody tipped it over. When we needed more towels they brought some right away. I would stay again.

The s'mores activity was fantastic and the large cabin was wonderful. There was a big jump pad and playscape with sandy area. But mosquitos were terrible! A pre check-in warning would’ve been appreciated. If it weren’t for the mosquitoes it would’ve been a 5 star rating.

We've been battling the mosquitos in various different ways this season. I thought we were winning, but it appears they are pulling ahead again. We won't give up though! This is a beautiful location with wonderful amenities. This camp is very well maintained with it very obvious funds are being poured back into the KOA. Being able to put trash at the edge of our site was a fantastic amenity. The pet wash was also appreciated, but would recommend adding it to a maintenance schedule or instructions for guests to clean out the basin/drain. During our use of the wash the basin had backed up with multiple inches of water due to a plethora of fur/sand. I was happy to clean it out but certainly think it needs attention. We did also find the washing machines even at half full did a somewhat poor job of actually cleaning and rinsong clothing. Dryers were great! Will absolutely stay again.

The reason I'm in South Padre is this KOA. Moved my daughter and son-in-law down to SPI because he will be working there. The grounds are well maintained, the location is excellent, and the park has great amenities. It has kayaks, peddle bikes, swimming pool, recreation center, small gym area, exceptional show areas, playground with a huge jump pad for the kids. They have multiple events throughout the week/weekend. They are adding another section of RV sites that will have excellent views of the bay and will be equipped with fire pit and seating. Nice overall atmosphere.
