The campground, facilities, and staff were outstanding. The location is great, easy access from Port Isabel and very easy access to the main strip of SPI. We especially liked the updates for the events they had over the weekend. The ice cream social was fun.

Loved the new RV area. The only issue was the confusion to refill propane in the motorhome talking to multiple employees and getting different answers. Left without refilling.

Beautiful RV park, very well appointed, clean and well maintained. Our pad was level. Unfortunately, the water pressure was insufficient at 25-30 psi. The local city water pressure is low… when I called to report the issue, was told they were adding water storage and higher pressure pumps onsite to resolve.

This is the best, most well kept koa ever! The new club house and deck area are amazing! The team there is amazing! Every detail is beautiful!

The park was super clean and the gals up front were so helpful and very pleasant. There are 2 things that stuck out and that was the Rv folks who washed campers and vehicles with the power washers running all the time, I think set times and days would be awesome. Garbage pickup should set as well because of the birds tearing the bags open and shredding stuff all over. Otherwise it was a wonderful

Awesome KOA! Facilities were newer, well kept and clean. We stayed in the pull through on the little peninsula that has been redeveloped. SUPER nice and great spot. We watched the pelicans forage, dolphins, and various other wildlife! Definitely would recommend this KOA!

SPI has made outstanding upgrades in amenities in the last couple of years. They were well thought out, well designed, and well built. Proximity to Star Base is always a plus for us. They provided Thanksgiving dinner, which was a happy surprise! Above all, the staff was, to a person, happy, always willing to help, and friendly. I don’t know how they maintain their great attitudes consistently

staff was awesome. Kampground was well maintained and clean except dog park. Dog waste disposal had feces smeared all over lid. Also, some guests do not clean up after their dogs, not just in dog park but all over the park. If their wasn't dog crap all over I would give a 5 Star. My only complaint.

The measurements of the site were wrong but it worked out well. The staff is always excellent and it is a very well maintained facility.

We stayed Thanksgiving week in site 306. It was an awesome site, really loved the poly wood furniture at the site. Will definitely be back!!

This is the best KOA we have ever stayed at! I can’t believe I didn’t take any pictures of the wonderful pool area and spa. The new clubhouse the bathroom accommodations the laundry the workout room…. We have already made reservations for this next November. We will see you guys then! Thank you for making our stay amazing.

We love this campgrounds beach front sites. It’s the only sites we’d stay at because the others are way too close together. I really wish this KOA would expand more to offer more beach front sites. They are nice and pretty spacious and the added patio seating ets make it very enjoyable. I also wish they were a tad less expensive. 130/night is rather pricey compared to almost any other pl

Very nice RV Resort. Back-in Water Front sites are very nice. Great views of sunsets..... dolphins... and birds. Highly recommend and will stay here again if in the area.

Despite the windy weather, we had a wonderful stay at KOA South Padre Island! 🌴☀️🏕️ The campground was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and both the staff and fellow campers were friendly and welcoming. We especially loved that KOA offers fun activities for kids and the entire family, making it a great place for campers of all ages! The atmosphere was safe, relaxing, and family-friendly, which made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend KOA South Padre Island to anyone looking for a clean, fun, and welcoming camping destination. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again! ❤️🏕️🌊
