Customer service was excellent, had to move my stay back a couple weeks due to a blizzard in my area, could not have been more pain free. Very well run campground.

Great little place right on the water. They are doing some construction and we can't wait to see what the future holds. Spaces are tight but, lots of greenery helps. Everyone from workers to campers were just the best.

The staff were amazing!!! The park was clean! The hot tub was excellent and the pool was well maintained and clean! Our site was very small, too small and I hated the large white stone as site material. Also there was construction going on which took out the dog walking path and any water access so there ought to have been a discounted rate.

I'm glad you enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and staff. The value sites are our smallest, least expensive sites. I recommend giving a back in with a patio a try for a little more room. I apologize for the miscommunication on the dog walk. It is located by the decks, away from the construction. Thank you.

This is our third year at this KOA. We absolutely love the staff and the area. However, we had a problem reserving our same site for next year. In the past, occupants of a site have priority for rebooking for the next year. Our site was reserved by another without being notified or waiting for our commitment to the site. We reserved another site, but are not happy with the change in procedure.

Thank you for staying with us. Our current site occupants have 24 hours from their check in time to reserve the same site for next year. We usually extend this to 48 hours as a courtesy. After that time the site opens to the public online. We are so glad you got another site. See you next year!

First time I have stayed at a KOA since I was a kid. Had my twin 6 year olds with me and couldn't have had a better time or felt safer doing it. We rode bikes to the beach every morning and chilled at the pool all afternoon. Couldn't have been better. Planning the next trip.

They had a variety of site types to fit all rigs. The bathrooms were clean and were all in one (shower, sink, toilet). Everything was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were activities every day. The pool area was nice and the pool was heated. The free island bus comes to the entrance of the campground. We are planning on going back again.

Beautiful park with friendly, helpful staff. Great location within walking distance to some very nice restaurants, but a free bus system makes it very easy to get around the entire island and even over to Port Isabel. Bathrooms spotless everyday, great amenities and activities despite they are in full construction mode to expand the park. Will definitely stay again.

As expected, staff and crew very helpful and friendly! We had issues with Toad being locked and recommended a local lock smith, 20 minutes later, saved!!

Nice campground and friendly staff. A little busier than I like personally.

We recommend visiting in our shoulder seasons to beat the crowds. January/February and June/July are our busiest months. For a less crowded experience, please consider giving us a try outside of those times. Thanks for staying with us.

1. The dog park if it rains both gates have big puddles. 2. Being told that corporate is wanting to move the whole park from long term to short stays. This year a wanted to book my site for the same for next year and was told that the was not possible, but our friends were able to get their same site for next winter.

We had poor weather. Our disappointment was the construction at the camp ground. Entertainment was outside under a small temporary tent. No access to the waterfront due to the construction. No electronic communication about daily events, weather updates etc

The sites are very close together and not paved. This is the most expensive campground I e stayed at with comparable facilities. The staff was very friendly though. And the wifi was capable of streaming so that was good

Park is very crowded and numerous times we were hemmed in due to a motorhome getting washed or additional parking taken up by neighbors. I was sent emails about extending my stay and getting a 25%discount which I extended the stay but did not to my knowledge get the discount. Information seemingly had to be "extracted" from staff, but they were always pleasant. focus on motorhomes is obvious

It was a short stay but felt welcome. My wife and I are talking that we may be back next year but for a longer stay.

When we arrived our power did not work. Was not offered a different location. Had to wait a hour or so for them to fix the breaker box. Then they plugged us in without asking which blew fuses. Then we tried sitting on our picnic table for dinner and it was right on top of their dump station and they were dumping. Gross!

Great location. Helpful and accomodating staff. Hot tub was wonderful. Washer/Dryer super affordable with new, larger machines.

Honestly disappointed in cabin. No heater, just a cheap plug-in electric heater. Shower didn't have hot water, just warm. Had to walk to shower room for shower. Floor in bathroom was rotten and soft, thankfully the fake wood floor was enough to keep from falling through. Truly expected more.

My only complaint is the sites are a tight fit for large coaches and fifth wheel trailers!

beautiful location, tight sites but somehow feels cozy, warm, and welcoming, great for extroverts, excellent SpaceX viewing, great walking, great biking, close to everything, great beaches, KOA Kindness, great cabins, great sunsets, lots of palm trees, greast restaraunts, live night band & social hour, get your RV or vehicle washed and polished, great sunrises

it needs alot update it was 60degree very little heat had to buy a heater to keep warm bed need to be replaced couch is like getting off the floor you got told very little help

This is a great KOA. The sites are a little close together but we had ample space for a 41 foot 5th Wheel and 3500 Dually. Our stay was during a period of very high winds and rain so never really got out much. The dog walk was a little piece from our site do made for some exercise getting there. As usual in all parks, there are those who don’t pick up after their pets!! But not on KOA.

The reason I'm in South Padre is this KOA. Moved my daughter and son-in-law down to SPI because he will be working there. The grounds are well maintained, the location is excellent, and the park has great amenities. It has kayaks, peddle bikes, swimming pool, recreation center, small gym area, exceptional show areas, playground with a huge jump pad for the kids. They have multiple events throughout the week/weekend. They are adding another section of RV sites that will have excellent views of the bay and will be equipped with fire pit and seating. Nice overall atmosphere.

Great location and walking distance to the beach, shuttle and restaurants!! Pool and spa are protected from the wind by a wall! Perfect location to watch a launch!!!🚀 We will return!!
