Stayed a week at one of the forward facing spots. It was fantastic having a patio and deck. It is very close to the jump area, since we don’t have young kids anymore this wasn’t necessary. But, if we had young kids it certainly would’ve been a bonus. Very attentive staff and clean campground. We will be back!!

Common areas: outdoor patios, rec room, laundry, and pool are all clean and well kept. Good views of ship channel, the bridge, sunsets, and SpaceX.

Everything was great. Staff was excellent. Easy bike to resturants, activities in town and of course the beach. Nice views. We plan on returning.

Our stay was AMAZING at the SPI KOA! We LOVE the new recreational room & sunset deck with the firepit. We had a party of 6 travel trailers & 2 cabins and the deck was the perfect spot to gather in a few evenings while our visit there. Lots of thanks to Doty, Nancy, Randy & especially to one of your staff members that helped us unclog our trailer on our last day. KOA SPI is the best place!!!

Great customer service from office and grounds staff. The location was breathtaking and my family and I were in amazement with all the amenities that were available for our use. Very highly recommended and we already made our next reservation in a month from now. Thank you!

Enjoyed the stay, very well kept park. One thing that always seems to be the norm in every park we visit, is that some guest refuse to keep their dogs on a leash. Don't know how to prevent that. Very annoying and frustrating. Especially when we keep our two little dogs on a leash at all times. So we just stay at parks that enforce their policies.

We really enjoyed the new waterfront site! It was beautiful. The nearby dog park was a bonus, and the wi-fi was speedy. We'll be back!

The peninsula sites are beautifully maintained, very modern patio furniture and the bay ocean view is magnificent. The price for a day stay is reasonable in today's economy. CONS: Not unusual for a KOA, wifi is terrible. Showers and public restrooms, not enough or close to these sites. No password codes to enter shower/restrooms, a security risk. Still, this location is worth staying.

As a first time RV owner I was to say the least nervous and apprehensive about showing up to the campground and looking like a fool. I have to say that from the time we arrived I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. I was assisted by the park staff and by some wonderful gentlemen who went out of their way to help set up my RV and give me some very important advice. Awesome experience!

Great place to camp alone or with friends and family. Need to advertise the Pet wash. My dog loved it. All employees were so helpful and nice. Any questions were answered immediately. Thanks so much. Hope you see you during the winter

I have been staying there for 15 summers in a row now. I would say the park has gotten better in that time and really have great people working there. I do pay a premium for my space Lot#116 and would like to see more rocks put on the site as when it rains, the site floods very easy. If that can be corrected, it would be awesome. Thank you.

Love this place! Only thing I could say was annoying was all the cleaner maintenance vans driving around. Maybe they were there to clean an rv but felt they drove around a lot to advertise. Otherwise this place is our go to!! Don’t let this keep you from going. We will be returning �

It’s a pretty place. The oeoole were friendly. They plan things for the family. Two things I did not like, ants everywhere, even coming into our RV. The spot was too small for our 40ft RV. It was extremely difficult to back out of when there was a trailer located right behind us. 40 foot rvs need pull through sites.

It was quiet. There were lots of things to do while there. The lodging was perfect especially if you have a ton of littles since the upstairs loft area is very small - about 4 ft tall. I’m 5’6” and couldn’t stand straight. But perfect for littles. I wish we had been able to stay longer to really enjoy everything available!! We never got to check out the pool or the bikes, which looked fun!

We stayed in a cabin and our bro and SIL stayed in their RV. Our cabin was very clean and well equipped. We had a problem with our toilet and one of our TV’s. We talked to the office and someone was therei in about 5 minutes. Everything was fixed in 10 minutes. Fastest service I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Absolutely wonderful campground. It is constantly being maintained and cared for. From cabins, tent sites, to every type of RV and travel trailer site, this place has it. Excellent amenities and every common area spotless! From Dottie at the front desk to every maintenance staff and groundskeeper—all were friendly and helpful. Will be back!

Despite the windy weather, we had a wonderful stay at KOA South Padre Island! 🌴☀️🏕️ The campground was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and both the staff and fellow campers were friendly and welcoming. We especially loved that KOA offers fun activities for kids and the entire family, making it a great place for campers of all ages! The atmosphere was safe, relaxing, and family-friendly, which made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend KOA South Padre Island to anyone looking for a clean, fun, and welcoming camping destination. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again! ❤️🏕️🌊
