Lance wouldn't let me charge. EV travel is common place now. Using a campground to spend the night and charge your EV is happening all over the US. But Lance is uneducated and has a belief that 1 EV drawing 6kW is more power than 100 RVs. For your edification Lance, P = I*V that is the number of kilo-watts = amps * volts. 6,600 =(x)*240 27.5 amps won't crash your park. Especially on 50 amp d

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I apologize, but ev charging is not allowed on our RV pedestals. The constant draw (which is confirmed by koa corp as well as our own knowledge) is extremely hard on our wiring. This is common practice across most KOAs. There are super chargers in town however. -Alan (owner)

Very noisy. Manager told me it is a SD state law that I couldn’t sleep in my van in a tent site. Lie! It’s a lame KOA “law”.

Our stay was short but we did enjoy it. We were in the tent section and it was a very nice area. The park area was clean, the staff was friendly, the check in was quick. It was just an overall nice place to go. We will return !

Great people work there. It's not there fault that between the jets overhead and the cars below It's a noisy bad location for people with young children.

Office staff were very friendly and helpful. The campground and facilities are clean and well maintained. RV spots have ample space between sites. There are lots of shade trees, which we love. This KOA is easily accessed off I-90 and in a good location to get to activities of interest in the area. We will be back!!

At first glanse we thougt it was the nicest one of all 5 KOA sites we stayed at just to find that there was no hot water in the mens showers and no electricity on our stand or the neigbour stand. Rather disapoiting concidering it was also the most expencive one.

If I could give 10 stars! Of all the KOAs, the Sioux Falls has been the greatest experience! The staff is incredible and care for your enjoyment. The facilities are top notch. The rest rooms are not only ultra clean, the lighting is excellent. We are staying another week!

Upon arrival at our site DT9, the camper in front of it was actually half way on ours. Power cord would not reach. They said it was where the escort put them upon their arrival. After some discussing, they agreed to pull forward. The campground location is horrible due to highway noise traffic all night.

Excellent! Wonderfull staff, clean facilities and grounds. Right next to the freeway, so can be noisy for tent camping if you are on that side of the property.

Super Clean, Friendly Staff, nice pool, playground and bathrooms. We loved our Delux Tent Site located near it all. A perfect stop if your traveling and don't mind a bit of Truck Traffic Noise. We will def come back again on our cross country travels.

Solo motorcycle traveling. This was a great stop on the way to the rally at Sturgis. Friendly staff. Clean showers and grounds.

Campground was very well kept and clean. Bathrooms and showers were equally cared for. Pool was a welcome oasis after a long day of riding. Be sure to visit falls park during your stay.

The facility is absolutely beautiful. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. I would definitely stay here again and I will recommend it to France for sure.

It’s pretty noisy due to the location next to hwy and a couple busy businesses. But the KOA site its self is pretty nice. It’s clean and the staff are friendly.

We were tenting - the ‘tent city’ was just a large area of grass and we came in late after hours. There was no clear way to get our vehicle to our site because other tenters were in their sites. The campground location was awful with semis driving the road 20 feet from our tent all night long. The noise was impossible and very loud. We left very early because we got no sleep at all.

The staff are superb. Bathrooms and showers are spotless.However the tent sites are sandwiched between the entrance and the playground plus across the street there is a tractor trailer repair place so there was clanking and banging all night. We didn't sleep. And the lights are so bright there the poor birds were singing at 2 in the morning. If you are tenting, avoid this place.

The campsite was really nice but we were right next to the playground and parents were not watching their kids. They would be there until 10:30 pm and be back by 7 am.

This was our very 1st RV campground with our very 1st RV. We learned a lot and really enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks. The campground was clean, quiet, and fun. The staff was available, responsive, and friendly. A great start to our full-time RV journey!

We loved our stay here. Owners were phenomenal! The park is so well kept and amenities are in great shape. The gift shop had a great selection...found some unique gifts there. Great location to downtown and Falls park. This is the best Journey we have ever stayed in.
