This is difficult because the place was beautiful, the staff so absolutely friendly and helpful. Those bathrooms were absolutely top notch. I would absolutely come back to the camp for a quick trip if I needed a place to just stop for the night. It is just not a place to relax. Jets so loud my ears hurt, constant road noise 24/7 , no silence ever. Parking my car between tent and fire is weird setu

Staff was nice and helping, with weather warning to customers. Pool ok and basic amenities fair. Local area a bit noisy. Good selection in store.

I really enjoyed my stay at this campground. All of the staff go above and beyond, particularly Jennifer and Joyce. I needed to arrive a day earlier than expected, and Jennifer was right on top of that. Joyce checked me in quickly and efficiently. All of the office staff are very capable. Rick and all of the others on the maintenance staff work hard to keep things running smoothly.

It was good. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I did think 47 dollars was high for a tent site with no water or electricity.

one night tent camping. the staff and facilities were great. Everything clean and well organized. The problem is the location of the camp, sandwiched between and interstate freeway and a street with 4 trucking operations that are active through the night. I couldn't believe the loud noises that their activities created, keeping me and many other camper I'm sure awake.

We stayed in a tent. The property is maintained nicely. Bathrooms were clean. Shannon is professional, organized, and friendly. The only suggestion is to plant more trees or sound barrier fence along road and KOA entrance for more privacy and sound barrier. The post office trucks were very noisy loading. Cars were driving fast along the outside road. Tether ball is too close to tent area.

We had a one night stay at a deluxe tent site. We highly enjoyed our night! Very close to bathrooms and office. The workers were helpful and answered all questions. I like to know what to expect when I travel, and a KOA worker has a YouTube channel (RVNomad1776) that goes over the amenities. The videos are helpful and accurate and we got to chat with him at the KOA.

Good Amenities available, however the location is not the best. It is not quiet throughout the night. We stayed in the tent area and throughout the night we heard lots of noise from the trucking business across the street, air traffic from the airport, highway traffic. There was also light constantly from the trucking business across the street.

Great campsite. Great location. We experienced a bad thunderstorm. Staff kept us updated and I went to the shelter. This staff goes out of the way to ensure safety and a super experience.

Everything was amazing � �ϸ the park was so clean from in general down to the restrooms and pool area. The amenities were top notch. The staff, at the front desk and the people helping, we're super nice and helpful. Would definitely and am definitely going to be staying at alot more koas for my camping experience!!

The KOA was lovely. It was very clean and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the location is very close to the highway and also some kind of 24-hour commercial business that makes a lot of noise! Despite the noise at night we had a very nice time. Our site was clean and had a nice tree for shade. The employees are very attentive and present.

Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I felt very safe and at home. Cool pool! Fantastic for a sunny day in the 90’s. Store has it all and then some.

No problems, great atmosphere, caring staff, lots of families, very nice shaded tent campsite although a but small. My vehicle was right next to the neighbor's tent. My only complaint is there was a family that was drunk and belligerent, foul mouthed, kids were unruly playing at the playground past curfew, very loud that we had trouble going to sleep. Otherwise a great stay. Kids loved the pool!

I was only stayed one night but will definitely be back. Everything was clean and well kept AND the swimming pool was AWESOME - wonderful to cool off on a hot summer's day. Everyone was really friendly and very helpful. Thank you for making my time there a happy memory.

Sioux Falls KOA is conveniently located right on I-90, which is why I didn't like it. I'm a tent camper, and the highway proximity is just too close. Between the noise from all night traffic and a spotlight shining right at me, I didn't get any rest at all. I'd imagine people with an RV wouldn't have a problem with these things. For tent campers, find another place. Otherwise, camp was clean.

When we come to Sioux Falls SD, we love this campground for its very clean bathrooms and inexpensive laundry facility plus it has video games while you wait like Ms Pac Man. Thanks KOA!

Tent camping has nice shady trees and thick green grass with a cool fire pit. Unfortunately, the dozen or so tent camping sites are right inside the main entrance where 18 wheeler rigs drive past 24/7 so you do not get a moment of peace. KOA tent sites are supposed to be placed in the quietest part of the property, not the noisiest section of the campground.

Nice little stop on our fanily road trip across the state. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that they had my music playing in the bathroom. We didn't stay long enough to use all the amenities but would stop through again if we needed a place to stay for the night.

I had a tent site that was next to the freeway. The noise levels weee very high and sleeping was a challenge. Otherwise the facilities are clean and the staff are amazing. The place is very safe and secure

Lance wouldn't let me charge. EV travel is common place now. Using a campground to spend the night and charge your EV is happening all over the US. But Lance is uneducated and has a belief that 1 EV drawing 6kW is more power than 100 RVs. For your edification Lance, P = I*V that is the number of kilo-watts = amps * volts. 6,600 =(x)*240 27.5 amps won't crash your park. Especially on 50 amp d

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I apologize, but ev charging is not allowed on our RV pedestals. The constant draw (which is confirmed by koa corp as well as our own knowledge) is extremely hard on our wiring. This is common practice across most KOAs. There are super chargers in town however. -Alan (owner)

Very noisy. Manager told me it is a SD state law that I couldn’t sleep in my van in a tent site. Lie! It’s a lame KOA “law”.

Our stay was short but we did enjoy it. We were in the tent section and it was a very nice area. The park area was clean, the staff was friendly, the check in was quick. It was just an overall nice place to go. We will return !

Office staff were very friendly and helpful. The campground and facilities are clean and well maintained. RV spots have ample space between sites. There are lots of shade trees, which we love. This KOA is easily accessed off I-90 and in a good location to get to activities of interest in the area. We will be back!!

At first glanse we thougt it was the nicest one of all 5 KOA sites we stayed at just to find that there was no hot water in the mens showers and no electricity on our stand or the neigbour stand. Rather disapoiting concidering it was also the most expencive one.

Was a great campground! Easy to book a site and we were even escorted to our campsite. The campsite was pretty full, so recommend to try and book in advance or call to double check spots. Everything was nice and clean and close enough to run errands in the city.

We have been coming to the Sioux Falls Journey for years. The staff are amazing! From Lance the manager to Mike, Jennifer, Rick and Joyce we were served with excellence. The campground is immaculate as well as the shower/restroom facilities. Location is great! This is our favorite KOA!
