This was our third time staying at the park and we really enjoy the area. We will be staying there again. The folks there are friendly and very helpful. Very clean and well kept park.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The camp grounds were amazing and well kept. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The facilities were great, definitely will be coming back in the future.

This place made a great base camp! Very, very clean! Rick his wife Joyce and Mike are great great people. Exceptionally friendly and very helpful. This was our first time to Sioux Falls and they were so welcoming. Can't wait to go back.

Incessant a great stay and the staff was super nice and helpful. The only thing they could do to improve, is the ground filling up with gravel to make the mud stay down. We had a lot of rain all Saturday and the ground got soft and the gravel was not high enough to better the situation.

Sites are stacked right on top of each other. Way too close together. Cabin bedding (mattress cover) wasn't washed or changed and was covered in animal fur. The office was closed by the time we made it into town so we were stuck with it.

It was awesome. We stayed in the tee pee. The bed was pretty comfy. Will stay again. Everything was very clean.

Very attentive staff, made our one night stay excellent! Love the amenities (pickleball court, cornhole court, dog exercise area) Now if only the staff could have stayed off the rain while we prepared to leave0!! (LOL)

We were only passing thru however I wish we were there longer. Bathrooms were amazing! Cleaner than some hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff super friendly. And pickle ball courts!

We stayed here one night on our cross country trip. It’s a basic KOA, but our site was right by the freeway and underneath the flag, both of which were very noisy. There was also a very rancid smell near the playground so our kids were put off of playing. But a decent and safe campground overall with clean enough bathrooms. Not the worst we’ve been at but there’s some room for improvement.

The loudest campground I’ve ever stayed at. Literally feet from a busy highway. Like staying at a rest stop with hookups. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They moved me to a different site further from the road and refunded me the difference. I’m sure they get tired of people complaining about the noise.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do indeed, it is unfortunately not something we can control since the park was built in 1972 and the interstate was quite a bit different back then. Moving the park just isn't something possible. Thanks for staying.

Bathrooms were far away but otherwise very clean and quiet except for highway noise. Pad to park rv was slightly sloping so we had to move our rv twice a few feet to get the auto levelers not to lift tires off the ground but it all worked out.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The bathrooms are 200/150 feet from either bathroom to your site, I apologize if the site was slightly unlevel, unfortunately we have gotten far too much rain to clean them up until it dries Thanks for staying!

We only stayed one night, but would definitely stop again if we are in the area. Staff was super friendly and the grounds were great, including an awesome Kamp K9.

Only an overnight stay but it was nice and the facilities were clean. Probably the nicest staff we’ve had at a KOA. It rained a lot so it was muddy in spots, more gravel would be nice

Bice little campground close to everything. Lots next to the road look a little loud maybe but ours was just fine. Friendly staff, nice office/store with free coffee!

Was a great campground! Easy to book a site and we were even escorted to our campsite. The campsite was pretty full, so recommend to try and book in advance or call to double check spots. Everything was nice and clean and close enough to run errands in the city.

We have been coming to the Sioux Falls Journey for years. The staff are amazing! From Lance the manager to Mike, Jennifer, Rick and Joyce we were served with excellence. The campground is immaculate as well as the shower/restroom facilities. Location is great! This is our favorite KOA!
