The campground was very nice and well kept up. The morning we were leaving. There were workers next to our camper cabin that started Working on the roof next to us at 8:20 in the morning. It was so noisy. We had to leave and get breakfast at a restaurant. Try to talk to the front office, but there was no response from anybody.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

My apologies, you were packing up at 8:20 when myself (the owner) and the manager were prepping the roof and I had talked to you about the roof personally about roofing etc. I would certainly have waited if we didn't think you were leaving the cabin next door. Safe Travels!

Excellent! Wonderfull staff, clean facilities and grounds. Right next to the freeway, so can be noisy for tent camping if you are on that side of the property.

I loved how there was an off leash area for my dogs to chase a ball when no other dogs were around. Me taking them for a walk is not enough exercise for them.

Roomy, clean, and large spaces is what we experienced at this KOA. The road noise is noticeable abut that’s what Journeys usually are; convenient and clean. We’ll definitely be back.

This was great place to settle in for the night when we were traveling west. The campground is maintained well. The limiting factor is the proximity to the interstate. We rarely heard the traffic in our motor home. Great location next to camping works if you need any supplies for your camper.

This KOA was exceptional. We enjoyed our deluxe site with the dog kennel attached. With all the conveniences so close it was hard not to relax and enjoy a grilled meal whole the dogs played!

Very nice and friendly campground. Well maintained with large sites. Friendly staff. Even gave some treats for our dogs on arrival. Would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Sioux Falls, SD.

Easy check in and hosts guide you to your site. Easy access in and out of the park. Level sites long enough for my motorhome and Toad. Dog friendly with a nice fenced off leash area for the dogs to run a bit.

Whole reason for booking was the pool and got there to be told the pool was closed and she crossed it off the map. A few hours later looked and people in the pool. Could have been better communication.

My apologies, we had pool issues that day (that we found out about that day) that we assumed were not going to be fixed as quickly as they were. We were obviously able to get it open and I hope you got to use it. Thanks for staying

Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice camp store and sites spacious. Only issue was truck noise but that is beyond what owners can do. Overall nice campground and will stay again if in the area.

We loved our one night in the teepee at the KOA in Souix Falls. The beds (with real sheets!) were very comfortable, and the dehumidifier and tower fan kept the tent nice and cool despite the high temps and humidity. And even though it rained on and off much of the night, we stayed dry. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Would stay again!

Sites were spacious and some shade! Minor issues is The site was difficult to level and the sewer connections were too high. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean. I would definitely stay there again if I am passing through.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from check to check out. One thing you could improve. You have great bathouses but the curtains are cheap and way to small. You need to replace them with nicer curtains that fully cover stall. Air gets in when taking a shower and water gets out. Men and women showers alike. Other than that GREAT! A 6 foot fence at K9 park would be nice too. Thank you.

We love staying here on our way to our Mount Rushmore destination. The campground has easy on/off access from I90, well maintained grounds and very clean restrooms. Friendly personnel and staff to make our stay enjoyable.

This was our very 1st RV campground with our very 1st RV. We learned a lot and really enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks. The campground was clean, quiet, and fun. The staff was available, responsive, and friendly. A great start to our full-time RV journey!

We loved our stay here. Owners were phenomenal! The park is so well kept and amenities are in great shape. The gift shop had a great selection...found some unique gifts there. Great location to downtown and Falls park. This is the best Journey we have ever stayed in.
