Very clean campground, wonderful staff, clean bathrooms, but right on the freeway and next to an exit. Lots of semi noise and Jake breaking.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The store is well equipped with any item you may need. Our site was the deluxe which had the doggy pen, it was private, clean and a close walking distance to everything we need.

Lance wouldn't let me charge. EV travel is common place now. Using a campground to spend the night and charge your EV is happening all over the US. But Lance is uneducated and has a belief that 1 EV drawing 6kW is more power than 100 RVs. For your edification Lance, P = I*V that is the number of kilo-watts = amps * volts. 6,600 =(x)*240 27.5 amps won't crash your park. Especially on 50 amp d

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I apologize, but ev charging is not allowed on our RV pedestals. The constant draw (which is confirmed by koa corp as well as our own knowledge) is extremely hard on our wiring. This is common practice across most KOAs. There are super chargers in town however. -Alan (owner)

The staff was very nice and helpful. They drove you to your site and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. The grounds were very nice and level. The only thing is that it is close to the freeway.

The grounds are very well maintained, and the staff are extremely friendly; however, we felt like we were being constantly monitored and watched for any and every "rule" violation. The ground was very muddy due to rain, so we put down our camping mat. Within 30 minutes of our setup, we received a knock on our door telling us we needed to remove the mat from the "grass" mostly mud. We won't return.

With the incredible amount of rain we got it was pretty saturated. We are overseeding and trying to get grass back going in some areas, camp mats are detrimental unfortunately to the grass. I am glad you saw that we take care of our grounds, having some of the guidelines help us with that

From the moment we pulled into the campground to the time we left, it was an overall wonderful stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. We love finding local places to eat and get coffee, they recommended several places for us. The bathrooms were VERY NICE and clean. The showers were wonderful. They have 2 bath/shower houses. The grounds are well kept! They have a lot of amenities too!

We can’t say enough good things about Koa. The employees are all so helpful and very enthusiastic about answering any questions. They was on top of the let us know the weather. Everything was wonderful and great. Planning on come back again and again. All the employees are so wonderful and very outgoing and very happy. Lance and Toni are amazing people. The cabin was very clean and comfortable.

If I’m being nitpicky, the WiFi needed a password even though the email and pamphlet said you didn’t, so I couldn’t get online. Not the reason you camp, but still

We love this KOA in Souix Falls! The staff is always super friendly, helpful and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome! The bathrooms are clean as is the other amenities offered by this KOA. It is always a great place to stop. This was our 5th year enjoying this campground. Thank you for providing such a great destination!

They have a game room for the kids. The facilities were clean and the laundry room was nice. The store was well stocked with camping goods. Nice place to camp.

The park and facilities were fine. The noise level from the freeway, the street behind the park, and the airplane traffic lowered the rating for this KOA.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Mike led us to our site and went over the amenities. So glad we were able to get the Pet Pen next to our RV which was on a nice slab. The Pet Pen was so good especially in between the rain. There were severe storms the night we stayed but staff kept us informed and where to go to the Storm Shelter. We would definitely stay there again. I hope more KOAs add PetPens.

This was our very 1st RV campground with our very 1st RV. We learned a lot and really enjoyed our stay of 2 weeks. The campground was clean, quiet, and fun. The staff was available, responsive, and friendly. A great start to our full-time RV journey!

We loved our stay here. Owners were phenomenal! The park is so well kept and amenities are in great shape. The gift shop had a great selection...found some unique gifts there. Great location to downtown and Falls park. This is the best Journey we have ever stayed in.
