Staff went the extra mile when we had to extend our stay due to a medical emergency. Absolutely beautiful property and caring staff. Go stay here…you will not be disappointed!!

Wow. I’m not a KOA camper regularly but this place exceeded all my expectations. Beautiful park, friendly staff, well laid out and very pleasant location. Clean, clean, clean.

This was our 10th year to spend time at this KOA…..this year we chose a deluxe site #35….absolutely beautiful setting…..this park is # 1 with us….everything is good, not one bad thing to say…..love this place and will be back for sure….thanks Bill & Joan

The Koa was beautiful well bby amen care of we had a few problems but Bill the owner was very helpful

The rates were fine, the site was fine and the location in the city is fine. What bothers us is the cost of visitors. We go to see family (son, wife and 2 kids) but to have them visit us is almost $50 a day with a vehicle! Seriously? And that could just be to have dinner. Rather expensive. We are looking for alternatives for sure.

Visitor rates are just $5 after 6 pm. Guest has stayed here 9 times in the past 5 years and each time comments about his dissatisfaction with the visitor policy.

The location is beautiful, and quiet . The staff was very welcoming. Unfortunately, the septic system seemed to be overwhelmed and badly needing attention. We could not sit outside our unit to enjoy the sunset due to the smell.

We're sorry that was your experience. Our septic system is fine, and the smell could have been coming from another guest's sewer. This was not brought to our attention, and unfortunately we are unable to look into it after the fact.

We haven't stayed in many KOAs but this by far was the nicest one we've been to. Very nice wooded surroundings, plentiful facilities, and helpful staff.

We were only there for 1 night on our way back to Toronto however it is definitely a nice spot and we look forward to staying longer on a another trip.

We had a good staycation but was extremely disappointed when friends booked and had to cancel the rest of their stay (3 nights) after the first night due to an emergency. No refund at all? Penalty , yes but nothing at all but full payment? That is unacceptable- This KOA has become more and more unfriendly since covid - higher prices, noisy workers and seems to be unwilling to talk to customers.

Nice camping space but like ALL KOA’s they are HUGELY overpriced. If I would have known there was another RV camping place close by I wouldn’t have stayed at the KOA. $74 a night is way over the top. KOA are my last resort….ALWAYS! I would rather boondock. The people were pleasant but not $74 a night pleasant!

Guest's site was $65.89 plus tax; could have saved 10% with a KOA Rewards card. We appreciate that there are various types of camping available; our campground offers many amenities in a clean, safe environment. Some may prefer no amenities at a different campground, or a parking lot to boondock.

The site was not what I thought I booked and was told they may have to change sites. I was missing the sewer option and told they were all full but sites were actually available. The staff was not helpful nor interested in making any adjustments and rude to my spouse. There are too many rules posted everywhere and stating we're being watched. Not a welcoming or relaxing place. Will not return.

Guest selected a site online that was water/electric only (no sewer). Upon arrival on a Friday night in July when the park was completely full, was upset with staff that we were unable to find a full hook up site for him. Guests are encouraged to ensure that they're booking the desired site type.

We have never stayed at a KOA before and didn’t know what to expect. It was amazing!! As we drove in the first thing that we noticed was the landscaping, the lawns/gardens/planters and groomed to perfection. Check in was seamless and the owners are fantastic; so helpful and so friendly. Everything was SPOTLESS - washrooms/ laundry/and our site. We have since recommended it to all of our friends!

just a wonderful campground , clean and well kept ,loved the trailer wash area, travelled from B.C to Newfoundland and back, stayed here both ways, first thing i did both ways was wash my truck and trailer ,only place that we stayed that had a wash , just love it .

We were only there one night, on our way home, but viewing the park and all the amenities that were offered, would have loved to stay longer. Been to numerous KOA parks throughout the states and I found this one to be at the top of the list.

Beautiful campground, very clean, nice bathrooms. Very friendly people. But not enough sites with sewers to accommodate longer stays. Should advise clients to bring their own cable wire for TV at reservation. We had to buy one although we had several at home that we could have brought. The connection post was so far away that we needed a long one and barely made it with our water hose. Site #6.

Nice decent sized campsites but the showers are fabulous. Lots of pressure and hot water. The washroom and shower area were spotless. This is the best we have seen at KOA campgrounds in the USA and in Canada including Provincial Campgrounds. The other nicety is this campground is far away from the highway and very quiet, not like a Provincial Campground about an hour away.

Terrific RV and tent campground. Owners and staff are very friendly and professional. The campground is well maintained and has lots to offer for adults and children. The washrooms and showers are clean and are closed for an hour daily to allow for major cleaning by the staff. They accommodated our ´big rig' (with advanced booking) and (as always) were most helpful during our latest stay. We make this an annual stop. This year we went specifically to enjoy the colours of the fall and were rewarded with spectacular displays. We stayed for 10 nights. The campground parameters and schedules are well laid out and following them makes for a most enjoyable stay. This park is dog friendly and we appreciate the folks that follow the pet guidelines. We highly recommend this campground - it's in a terrific location close to town amenities (10 minute drive). There is some faint highway noise and a few trains - far less than most of the campgrounds that we have stayed in - certainly didn't disturb our sleeping.
