Guests looking for someone to walk their dog a couple of times a day while enjoying the area or taking a Train trip can make arrangements with a local Dog trainer and handler who offers this service based on availability.
Please contact Sue by email : [email protected]
Sue would need to meet the Guest and Dog prior and access the RV or Cabin to take the dog out.

Please note that this service is offered independently of the Sault Ste Marie Koa Holiday. All arrangements and questions will need to be made directly with Sue.

Groups, Caravans and Parties.

We can't guarantee that we will have sites available for large groups. If you are planning a group or party or a gathering of more than 8 people, please contact us before booking to arrange any gathering of any kind. We will try to work with your request and see if we can arrange a suitable place large enough to meet guests' needs. It may not always be possible to arrange this. Please don't assume it's okay to not make prior arrangements.

Firewood Policy

We can not accept any firewood into the park. This is due to the infestation of insects that are killing our beautiful trees. It is highly recommended by all regions and the Ontario Government to NOT transport fire wood from area to area. We thank you for following this request.
http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/en/Business/Forests/2ColumnSubPage/STEL02_167014.html

Please order your firewood at least one hour before store closing. Thanks!

We do not allow cutting or gathering of any wood or brush on the property without permission. We do have firewood available in the store.

RV Sizing Info

With the varied site lengths in the park it is super important that we have the Actual length of your Motorhome or trailer! Not the number on the side or what the sales guy might have said. :-) Suggest using a tape measure.

Tow behind travel trailers and Fifth wheels:  Please include the hitch portion and any rear facing slideouts extending, and any bike racks ect. Please don't add on for Truck or car as we have that programed in already.

Pop Up campers: Please include the added length when they are all fully open!

Motorhomes Towing: Please don't add any extra for a standard car being towed, just choose Motorhome Towing, We add on for the car as its programmed in already.  If you are towing anything else, please advise via special note what it is and the total additional length. You can also call to advise and we will look after it.

Thanks!  We want you to have a site that is the proper length to hold your entire rig and avoid situations where parking of a vehicle may need an alternate location or the possibility that there is no availability to move sites.

Changing reservations

When guests are wanting to change their dates, add or reduce the number of nights on an upcoming reservation, they should always call or email us. Please do not make a second reservation and then request that we cancel the first.

Electrical

Provided at each site is a pedestal with a 15 amp, 30 amp, or 50 amp plug. Only ONE plug permitted at any one pedestal. Please limit your total amperage draw on the 15 and 30 amp plugs so not to trip the breakers. This will allow you to enjoy your stay without electrical interruptions and placing damaging loads on your unit and its components, cords and plugs.

Charging Electric vehicles is Not permitted on sites. Please don't book an RV site, serviced tent site, or cabin with expectations of charging your car. You are welcome to book a Non-serviced tent site to spend the night. There are charging stations in Sault Ste Marie to charge your vehicle. Also, RVs on RV sites, no charging a towed or driven electric vehicle on site.

Helpful tip: When on a 15 amp plug, you will need to limit the items on the circuit to light usage only items. NO heavy items, such as AC, Water Heaters, or multiple heavy items like Hair Dryers, Kettles, Coffee Makers, Fryers, Etc....For these types of items, use one at a time.
For 30 amp plugs, Turn off the Electric Water Heater and run on LP. If using AC unit, Don't use more than 1 AC unit. If you need to run heavy electrical items, you may need to turn off AC for a few minutes while using. There are a lot of users in your rig, like Fridge or Electric Water Heaters, Converters, etc. that you might not think about that are running while you add other loads.

WiFi

WiFi is provided at most all sites in the park. We do employ Bandwidth monitoring. Speeds are dependent on total usage in each day. Speeds can be reduced at set levels when maximum level is reached. The levels are set to allow all normal email, surfing, facebook and very light video content. Heavy downloads such as video, movies, video Skype etc, are not recommended. Updating computers, phones, and tablets can also use a lot of Data! Be aware that everyone can enjoy the WiFi if shared with some reasonable expectations.
