Unfortunately it rained during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy any of the amenities. It was so expensive too. I don’t think we’ll return based on the price. The location didn’t warrant the price we paid.

Everything was great except for when it rained the center of the site became a deep puddle that made it almost impossible to enter or exit the rv without stepping in a couple inches of water. I moved the rv a couple feet to make it better but there was no avoiding it.we were in spot 230

Staff was super friendly. We stayed for four days and they have a lot of activities for kids. Despite the rain- we all had a blast.

The drain pipe on 186 needs to be cut to ground level. We called and requested 185 after last year but apparently it didn’t get changed, so we were in the same spot this year. Not a big deal, we spent most of our time at our friends campsite as it was. We had a great time, our kids love it, our daughter had a small cabin with some friends for a couple nights while we were there. See you next yea

stayed a few days at new years eve. had some bad weather, but it didn't dampen our stay with our family. we had a very good time . employees are great.

The KOA is beautiful. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere was nice. The only thing maybe because of the rain was the sewer when I was dumping was backing up and had to go really slow or it overflowed. Other than that highly recommend and will go back!

We had a great time at this KOA campground. It’s the second time we have stayed here and the people that work there are very nice and polite, campground is keeped clean.

We had a great time! The park was quiet at our site but still exciting for kids around the central hub area. It felt safe. Staff was welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond to check in and create fun. We appreciated the staff on golf carts regularly helping the environment feel safe for our kids to ride scooters around the park. We will be back!

Very clean and orderly KOA. Very family oriented. The workers are very professional and helpful. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Very well maintained location. They make sure it is quiet during the quiet times. The beach is very close.

Second time staying here! Great place, kind and hard working staff. We love having the fire ring at our campsite (so many campgrounds don’t allow actual fires anymore). Super clean site and so much for our 2 and 3 year old to do here! We will be back!

We love it! Stayed Wednesday-Sunday! Love the decorations, the cleanliness, the proximity to the coast as well as Monterey, Santa Cruz and Capitola! Everyone was friendly and welcoming too!!

Great campground, great staff. Place is exceptionally maintained and clean. Lots of things to do to stay occupied. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Nice big spaces to park your rig in. Stayed 10 days and will be back next season to stay longer.

We were at KOA Monterey/Santa Cruz the week before Christmas and it was filled with holiday cheer, friendly campers, awesome staff and the most friendly campground for dogs ever! The park is well-maintained, so clean, with festive lights found everywhere. A little rain made it magical. BHad a blast!

What a wonderful gem!! We live in Monterey and wanted to get the RV out. This place was a short drive from home and is great! We dont have kids, but what a wonderful place for families. Lots of activities, very clean, huge store, friendly staff and the malasadas . . . .so yummy!! What an unexpected treat!

Well maintained campgrounds. Friendly staff. Nice pool and spa. Recommend that maintenance staff regularly clean out spider webs (and spiders!) from ceilings in showers and restrooms. I encountered a large spider (maybe black widow?) inside my site electrical hookup when hooking up after dark.

We stayed during the week so it was fairly quiet and not many campers. The campsite was very clean and the people working there were very friendly. We walked the railroad tracks to Manresa beach which was a nice 2 mile walk. The next day we took a drive to Monterey for the day. We plan on returning again in the near future and will be recommending to our RV group.

Was tricky to find in the dark on our route in …but good reception and assistance on arrival. The entrance path / area near to the ladies washrooms and showers very muddy and slippery after some drainage construction work. On of the shower handles broken and our electric hook up a bit dangerous ( but this was fixed quickly). Overall a well organised and family friendly site.

This is a great place to stay. It is a very well run KOA and the staf are very friendly. This was our first trip with our new travel trailer and this worked perfectly

The road to the park is not great, but the park itself is amazing large playground for little ones clean sites huge variety of places and sites heated pool and everyone that works There is fantastic super friendly smiles on their faces and you can tell they take pride in their job And campground. Definitely looking to come back again all the way from Oregon.

Staff very friendly! Loved the text messages every morning about the activities for the day. Very family oriented! Loved all the amenities. Best and biggest I’ve stayed at. Perfect location too. I will be back!

We love staying at Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA! Everything is so clean and well kept! Everyone here is helpful and kind! Great amenities and close to the beach!

Clean camp, great kid activities and friendly staff. This is one of the best KOAs we have been. We had a multiple family member reunion, utilizing an RV site and 3 cabins. The only complaint was that some family members could not check in, nor access the place until 4pm. Kendall was very polite and explained the rules and occupancy/liability issues.

Site was ready when we arrived; we paid to check in early. There were a few issues with the site but Sara but it right and then some. I very much appreciate what she did for us! I was told that you're basically allowed 1/2 hour leeway to check in early. Why not make it 1 hour or more which seems more reasonable. This was 3rd year in a row a group of us spent Thanksgiving; will be back next year.

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
