CHECK IN/OUT

Check In:
2pm for RV & Tent sites
4pm for all Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins or Airstream Trailers
Early check in is based on availability; Early check in fee may apply.

There must be a responsible person 21 years of age or older to register your site and be on site for the entire stay. 

There is a daily resort fee of $5.75 payable per site/per night for all accommodations, tent and RV sites that will be charged at check in. The daily resort fee will be posted to your account in addition to daily site charges, local and state taxes. This value added resort fee includes the following amenities:  Wifi, swimming pool, recreational amenities & wood delivery.

During non-quiet times, please be respectful of your neighboring campers. Excessive drinking, noise and foul language will not be allowed.

WILDLIFE AWARENESS

Connecting with nature and wildlife. Various types of wildlife big and small may be on this campground. Be alert and give them distance and respect. Keep dogs on a leash and properly store food, trash and cooking supplies. Your safety and the future of wildlife depend on you.

Bike Rentals:
Fees vary based on bike type & range from $15-$40 per hour.

PROPANE FILL

Propane fills are available during General Store hours.

CANCELLATION GUIDELINES

Effective July 1, 2024, pursuant to new California law, guests booking a stay in lodging in California may cancel a reservation without penalty up to 24 hours after the reservation is confirmed and receive a full refund. This is regardless of the cancellation policy that otherwise applies to the reservation. The law only applies to reservations that were confirmed at least 72 hours before check-in.Cancellation Policy (Effective for reservations made starting on 10/1/24):
If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.
Cancellation Deadlines:
RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival. For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.Cancellation Details:
• Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
• Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
• No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
• No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
• Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
• The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
• Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.

GOLF CART POLICY

Golf carts are permitted on KOA property with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. 
No golf cart rentals are available.

PET POLICY

Deluxe cabins that are pet friendly require a $25 per stay, per pet fee.
Camping cabins that are pet friendly have a $10 per stay, per pet fee.
We do not charge a pet fee on RV and tent sites.

Please remember to clean up after your pet, have them on a leash, and stay with them at all times.

VEHICLE POLICY

1 vehicle is permitted per site. There is limited parking availability on the campground.

NUMBER OF GUESTS PER RESERVATION

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, strict limits are enforced on the number of people who may be at the campground per each reservation. A wristband is required for all guests at the campground and for the use of the recreation amenities.
  • At check-in, you will be asked to verify the number of guests staying at your site.  
  • A limit of 6 to 10 people per site (depending on site type) will be enforced. That total number includes both the number of people on your reservation and any day visitors. If you have the maximum number of people on your reservation, day visitors are not allowed.

RV and Tent sites are limited to 6 people per site.
Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins and Glamping Cabins are limited to the maximum occupancy. The number of guests/visitors per site cannot exceed the maximum sleeping capacity of the accommodation. 

Note: If the number of overnight guests on your reservation allows for day visitors, those day visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival. Your visitors are welcome for $10 per additional adult and will be given a wristband to wear at all times during their visit. Visitors 4 years and younger are free. Keep in mind that parking is limited and is first come, first serve. Visiting guests are permitted until Quiet Hours begin at 10pm and must adhere to campground rules. Should day visitors turn into overnight guests, they must register at the front desk.

TRASH POLICY

Place bagged trash curbside in the morning by 11am and a team member will be by to pick it up.
Please do not leave trash out overnight or burn in fire rings.

SPEED LIMIT

5 MPH. Please drive cautiously at all times.

AFTER HOURS/EMERGENCY NUMBER

If you arrive after our regular office hours, you will have an envelope with your reservation information at the greeting station.
Once you have your envelope, head to your site and come to the Registration Office before 10am the next day to complete registration.

Andy Pappas is the new general manager of Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA Holiday. A lover of camping and the outdoors, Andy finds peace and freedom through two of his favorite things – the ocean and the mountains. Prior to KOA, Andy held several positions in the hospitality industry, ranging from Sr. VP, Director of Operations, Regional Director, and even Official Sandwich Artist. He and his wife, Crystal, met in high school and together have eight children and two dogs, Copper and Diesel.
