It was a nice place to stay; staff & campers were nice. At the pools - I would like to see a bathroom addition to shower / dry off & change by the pool if possible. Even a simple 10ft baboo fenced area around the showers with a door latch would work just to shower off the salt left on the body from the water. However, I feel a bathroom (with showers) would benefit all especially the children.

We stayed in a back-in RV spot #68. It was clean, well maintained but small. We have a 40' trailer, it fit with the truck length wise but the spot was narrow. The whole park was clean and well maintained, family and pet friendly with poop bags and trash cans all over. Beach access was about a 3 mile walk along decommissioned railroad tracks, very doable and pretty.

Excellent location, very clean. Only negative was too many kids on electric bikes/scooters etc speeding through the area making it less safe for pedestrians. Speed limit for vehicles is 5mph.

This was our second time staying here. We had a great week long stay! The staff was friendly, the park was clean and our family had a wonderful time making memories. Looking forward to our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds, services, and most of the facilities were really nice. The only negative thing is the showers were really gross. They had visible build up/grime and one was clogged with standing water the whole weekend. PLEASE clean them more often, it was challenging to wash safely with a toddler. Otherwise we had a great time.

Not happy about having to pay for an extra space to have two new visitors after two had left. If you are going to charge for guests then you need to keep an account of who comes and goes.

Sarah was an amazing wealth of info. We so enjoyed the CLEAN,?MAINTAINED grounds. We will definitely be back. Also the touch of the homemade donuts was incredible.

First time ever camping and first time with an RV travel trailer, and the Monterey / Santa Cruz KOA made it easy. Staff were amazing and helped us back in. They allowed all 5 of our dogs, which we really appreciated. Other guests were great and respectful. Will definitely be back.

Hate giving good ratings to such nice places for fear it will get too busy for me. Lovely place. Staff was very pleasant at all times. Will put this on our list of places to return to.

Nice site, bathrooms floors and walls dirty. Dogs left in dog pens allowed to bark for hours while owners ignored them: very annoying and cruel for the dogs. Laundry only at the main office, long walk from back of campground

We did not like our original site…too dark and closed in but we loved the replacement site with lots of light and nice views. Strolling the campground some of the long term sites were a bit of an eyesore though the rest of the campground was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

Great time, especially for our kids! Loved all of the crafts and fun events, felt more like a fun camp experience than just another rv park. Lovely and friendly employees as well.

We found the plastic wrist bands to be offensive. We have never encountered them at other KOAs.If they are meant to securely identify campers, a simple cut-and-tape can easily transfer the band to another person.

This place is well taken care of the staff are pleasant and helpful. The grounds and the facilities are nicer than most. The location is a bit far away from things.

We stayed for 2 months. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds and all facilities were kept very clean. The staff seem happy to work there.

Great facility. I originally booked "Nature" back-in site and was talked into a sight with a paw pen which was small and was not a good option for our dog. Cost more but wasn't necessary for me. Could be a little more relaxed about dog policy for well behaved dogs

The sites are large. We did not stay at a sight with a fenced pet area, but loved the idea. The park has plenty of entertainment for kids. We picked up breakfast the last morning we were there. It was good. The KOA also had 2 dog parks. Worth a visit.

Awesome dedicated staff who take pride in their work!! Everyone was friendly with smiles on their faces. The campground was beautifully maintained. This is the best KOA that we’ve visited!

So lovely! We got a last minute reservation to avoid a more remote stay in the rain. The pool and hot tub were amazing for us and our kids. We spent the entire day at the pool while we used the laundry facilities. The store is well stocked. Would love to stay here again!

Everyone was so friendly. The campground is very nice and clean. I don’t like that you charge to lock in a site or for early check in. We purchase bikes and food in addition to your extra fees.

I’m not really happy that I booked my reservation at $82 per night. When I checked in I was charged extra $104 I had to go to front desk to get my price adjusted. Also I was charge by KOA $39 membership when I ready have a membership. I don’t think they give me the 10% discount.

Unfortunately it rained during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy any of the amenities. It was so expensive too. I don’t think we’ll return based on the price. The location didn’t warrant the price we paid.

Everything was great except for when it rained the center of the site became a deep puddle that made it almost impossible to enter or exit the rv without stepping in a couple inches of water. I moved the rv a couple feet to make it better but there was no avoiding it.we were in spot 230

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
