It was so nice and clean , staff was friendly and helpful. Guided us on a golf cart to our site . They are dog friendly and accommodate with pet stations. Didn’t get a chance to swim or use hot tub but it looked very inviting . Bathrooms and showers very clean .

We have been coming here in Memorial Day weekend for more than 10 years. We love the park, so clean, lots of fun for our grandchildren. The employees are super nice especially Koi, who took the time to listen to me about your rules of only 6 per stay per campsite. We are local from Monterey and often had friends come up for the day for a bbq. We probably will not return because of this rule.

We have been coming to this campsite for 9 yrs now, it has become my grandchildrens best vacation spot they look forward meeting up with friends they have met thru the years, us as grown ups as well, I would also like to thank the staff for their hospitality, thank you! Hope to see you again soon!

Very well run camp. Staff very friendly helpful. Grounds well kept we had a great time. It’s been 3 to 4 years that it’s been under either new ownership or management. Since the transition in during that time the camp facilities have improved dramatically. So kudos to the new owner/management.

The campground was very clean and peaceful with beautiful landscaping. All the employees were so friendly and accommodating. The paw pen pull through site was perfect for us and our our small dogs and it had so many convenient amenities. The store had everything we need and I was impressed with fact that they had a laundromat. This is our favorite campground and we can't wait to come back.

Always a pleasure to visit this KOA! Friendly, attentive staff, with clean and well maintained campsites and endless children activities make this KOA one of the best. The towering eucalyptus trees are beautiful. We’ve been here several times and look forward to our next visit. Keep up the great work!

We brought a group of friends (about 40) with us and had the best time. The staff is so friendly and incredibly attentive. The grounds are clean, the food is fantastic and the vibes are all around so fun! Watching the kids all on their bikes following behind the fun train was great! We will be back soon!

The facilities were amazing and clean. The people were incredibly helpful and friendly. We loved the activities and the festival. The only recommendation is to moderate the traffic of the gold carts between sites 85 and 86 (I think) near the jump pad. Otherwise such a wonderful place - we will be back!

Amazing experience. The reggae was amazing. The store ran out of seltzers, and no hard alcohol so we had to door dash $400 in alcohol but the campground itself if beautiful, and the most friendly staff I've even encountered. We all got our spots for next year already. See you in May 2027!!

This is an amazing location for families. Facilities are excellent and staff very friendly and efficient. However, if you are looking for a quiet stay this is not it. Lots of children and activities. Really have to be careful driving within the park. Beach State Park nearby. Be careful of GPS directions. Access from the North on Hwy 1 safest bet. Great location between Monterey & Santa Cruz.

This place was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. I went to the front office to let them know I couldn’t open my trailer door because the hedge next to our site was overgrown, and they had someone trim it right away. The bathhouses were clean, the water was warm, and the water pressure was excellent, honestly one of the best campground showers.

Very nice well maintained koa. The most trees and plants ever saw so at a koa. Maybe little to much on cooler days. Every thing was great we stay here for the location. I great place for family and kids so much to do for them this koa has everything really. Very clean bathroom well stocked store to.

Our kids had a wonderful time but we had difficulty with the cable hook up (we did not get any channels) and the sewer drainage at our site was very poor, which made emptying the black water more yucky then it needed to be. We loved the space and location of our site (#63) but it would have been nice for the cable channels to be working and to have good flow in the wastewater drain.

Basically, it’s a great place. I don’t know if the weather I had there was typical, but I woke up with everything totally sopping, even though they claimed it hadn’t rained. My biggest complaint with my campsite was the water spigot. It probably was fine for hooking up an RV. However, it was impossible to fill a water bottle from the spigot because the water w

We had an amazing stay at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA this past weekend! The park was large, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the camp store was fully stocked with everything we needed. We especially loved the live music by The California Kid at The Sand Shack on Saturday night! The pool and Dive-In Theatre were such a fun bonus too!

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
