You gave us a sight 97 that faced the walkway going into the playground with a lot of foot traffic. It would have been too busy, even if we did bring our grandchildren. We were very clear in stating we wanted a site with the least foot traffic as possible since I am 70 and disabled. You have a nice park with a lot of good things going on, next time, give me a spot so that I can enjoy them.

We stayed 3 nights. Was in perfect location for coastal beach activities. Only disappointment was picture online of camping site we reserved had bushes boarder. The site we got didn't have the privacy bushes.

We stayed Tuesday the Friday nights right after Labor Day. Very quiet and uncrowded first three nights. Filled up quick on Friday, but still quiet during quiet time. Many activities for kids. Good home base to explore Monterey Bay to Santa Cruz coast. Don’t miss Elkhorn Slough Safari (pontoon boat tour with naturalist onboard) or Gayle’s Bakery!

The camp grounds were very clean and the staff was very friendly. There was a lot of activities and we look forward to staying in the cabins in the near future. Thank you, Ron, Colette and Quimby.

Midweek arrival is the way to go, the Friday influx was quite a show. The Staff did a great job of escorting every rig imaginable to their assigned spots. Once the crowds were situated, it was dense packed. The kids all had a great time playing and everyone was courteous in spite of the closeness. It helps that The park is very well laid out. We left on Saturday to avoid the Sunday exodus.

We stayed after Labor Day so it was pretty quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Women's bathroom was a little confusing near our site, 28, they were not labeled. You had to walk through the shower area that was for both men and women to get to the women's restroom. Bathrooms and showers were clean.

We have been coming here for five or so years, sometimes multiple times a year. This year the vibe was different. Some of the workers children were fighting with each other, even heard the “N” word come out of one of their mouths. Their workers campsites are cluttered and messy. was one of the best camping vacation the staff was so present they took care of our every need the camp site was so clean the barbecue was clean and was a Weber barbecue had RV full services I can't say enough about how I look forward to our next stay thank you KOA

Very friendly staff - and lots of them! Very neat and tidy campground full of activities for the whole family. It was a relatively warm weekend (mid 80's) so everyone was using their AC's which meant a huge draw on the power. My RV surge protector recorded voltage dropping and shut off power to protect all the RV vitals which left us without power during peak hours. Despite this we will be back.

We love coming here! Everyone has fun! Last year (2024) the staff were on top of having the restrooms/showers cleaned regularly. This year wasn’t really the same standard.

We love this place, its very safe, very family oriented and pet friendly. They keep the kids occupied with fun activities! we have stayed here 3 times already. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The place is very clean, feels like a safe little community.

It was wonderful! We’ve stayed here before and it’s one of our favorite RV spots. Everything is clean, the spaces are well maintained and roomy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing. There is also so much to do close by. We will be back!!

The stay was pleasant until our last night when power, internet, AND water went completely out from 4am and was still out when we left at 10:20. I understand you can’t control power outages but if power is the reason the water was out you really should have a backup generator. We had to pay $25 to flush out our black water tank when we got home.

Staff was nice and kids had fun way from our site. The bees are very aggressive, if you have allergies, beware. Our children were not able to eat outside without being chased by wasps. There was a honeybee hive in the tree at our site so there were many bees circling around us during our stay. The power was out at the park night before we were set to leave so we had to leave earlier than planned

It is very expensive to stay at KOA sites and then to lose power and water during your stay and not be compensated for it is very disappointing. We had to use our generator and water from our tanks (thankfully we had that) but I didn’t pay all that money to use my own equipment.

We had a great time at KOA SC, but were disappointed by the train schedule. On Saturday, we arrived before 11:30am and were told rides ended at 11:30 daily. But on Sunday around 12:30pm, the train was still running. We would’ve taken the grandkids if we’d known it operated later that day. They were sad that they didn't get to ride it. Inaccurate communication from staff.

Clean showers and bathrooms, good amenities, great location which is why I stayed there. However the campsites are so pressed together I couldn't imagine staying there for more than a night. I spent most of my time away from the campground and came back to sleep. It was quiet at night

I liked having many options to choose from to park our trailer. I liked the quietness of the “Preserve” area. Just the right amount of trees to allow our solar panels to soak up the sun. I also liked how close it was to Aptos and Capitola. Plenty of good restaurants to choose from.

This is a Huge park with many cabins, sites very close and backing in very difficult. It is quite a distance to restaurants, gas, shopping etc. Of coarse the traffic is horrible; 2 hours to Carmel car show.

The staff was very helpful. Helped you find your site and guided you in to the site. Trash pick up was great. All day long, if you put trash out, it was picked up very quickly. The park texted you with activities and reminders that were helpful. Landscape was near perfect as we have been coming to this park for 6 years and this was the best groomed park yet!

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
