2 couples with 2 dogs. I made the reservations 6 months in advance for a 2 bedroom cabin. We got a cabin with 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a small "closet" with 2 tiny bunk beds shoved in. We had a small love seat in the living room. It was very uncomfortable for the pri e we paid. One couple used the bedroom and one person used the loveseat while the other person used the bottom bunk. Poor.

Great landscaping, beach is walkable distance, DoorDash and Uber friendly location. Very safe with security and wristbands and different measures they take. Hot tub and heated pool was great!

This is the second year we stayed in Studio cabin 240. Last year was fine, this year the mattress was awful. You sunk in the middle. I ended up having to sleep in the bunk bed because only one person could sleep in the bed. I have reserved the same cabin for next year and hope you purchase a new mattress.

It was nice just the security guards were very aggressive this year. Also, not being able to get my door dash on a Sunday evening when the whole campsite downsized by 50% was also strange.

The first night we had no heat, but they did fix it the next day. I also think the price is out of control. It was around $650-$700 for 2 nights and for just a room (no bathroom inside) it’s not worth it. I love the Halloween event, but I’d rather stay at a nice hotel for that amount and get a room with sheets and a bathroom. I love the event but don’t like the inflated prices.

Fantastic, the staff is very helpful and courteous. The sites are so clean. We have been staying here for a few years and have noticed improvements. We love October camping. Thank you for the well trained staff who smile and are pleasant, clean restrooms and showers. Great pool and hot tub. See you next October

I been coming to this KOA for years. Enjoy spending our vacation here. My only complaint is the restrooms by Glamping Cabins weren’t cleaned properly. Urinals and toilets were disgusting. Informed staff a number of times. Thank were only stocked.

We go every year at this time and it’s always fun. It’s become tradition! We really loved the pool party and bubble party last year. This year there was a small carnival and that was fun but previous years was really cool! I hope they bring back the bubbles and glow in the dark pool party!

The facility is great. Perfect for families. Activities were plentiful and fun. Halloween activities were an absolute treat. Only thing missing is a full coffee shop. It's the only thing you have to the leave the grounds for.

We love Santa Cruz KOA!!!! The staff is friendly and hard working to keep the KOA beautiful. My grandkids love to come The beach is within biking, the pool and play ground keeps them entertained for days. Best place to stay in Monterey for families and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Check in was fine & satff was friendly , but our cabin needs some upgrades/ repairs. Shower handle was tricky , as in you had to fiddle with it to keep it to have the right temp . pocket bedroom doors/ bathroom door do not lock. Recommendation : needs more lighting outside.only the 1 porch light available.

We had a great time during our stay this weekend. This is our second visit and will definitely be returning again. Only note- the ramp leading up to our cabin (117) had a few loose boards. Not a huge deal, but made for some wobbly trips for my 2year old.

We enjoyed the cabins and the service. It was nice that they delivered the heavier items we bought at the store (firewood and ice) so we didn’t have to walk it back to our cabin. Service was fast. There were different activities to do for all ages. The bathrooms were clean. We would come back and stay again.

All of the cooking items were not provided. The mattresses needed fitted sheets. The flat sheets did not stay on th ebeds if you moved.

We came and were completely surprised to be able to enjoy a little music festival. The local music was great and I got a nice back massage that took all the kinks out of my back from our long drive. The next morning I enjoyed Hatha/restorative yoga from a great instructor,outside with fantastic weather The swimming pool is very clean and warm. Looking forward to our next visit.

I would have given it a perfect score because it was really great but the shower head was broken in our cabin and the water would turn from ice cold to boiling hot so showers were not possible during our stay.

We had a great stay. Two suggestions for improvement: 1. Doors in the bathrooms slam shut loudly and campers can hear it at night. Just add some padding to the edges or get soft close springs. 2. Campfire rings at the cabins are very low to the ground and are tripping hazards. Especially when placed so close to the tables. Most cabins had little to no room next to them 2

We absolutely loved our stay at KOA Santa Cruz! Everyone on site was so friendly, helpful and sweet. There were so many activities for kids, and the general store had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

There was a power outage for 3.5 hours which meant no running water and no electricity. We had to buy water at the general store - no free water or refunds were offered. When paying such a ridiculous amount for a deluxe cabin, it’s unacceptable.

We loved our time at KOA Santa Cruz! It was our first time at a KOA holiday and it was delightful! Lots of families with kids who made their own little "bike gang" and rode around the campgrounds loudly lol -- that mayyyy get old after awhile if you're there to unwind and get away, but since this time was just a spontaneous chill, we didn't mind too much. Solid location and amenities.

Fourth year in a row here! Tried different cabin types and by far, this last was the best. However, I do have one complaint that was bothersome. The smell of pet pee lingered and progressed as the days gone by. I believe a deep clean in cabin #78 is highly necessary. I didn’t think to make it aware during our stay as I hoped the smell would go away. Also, pls consider adding an espresso machine.

We enjoyed our stay but a mildew issue with an air conditioning unit made my wife ill for the ensuing week. We brought it to the front desk's attention and hope it won't happen again. There also were recurring issues with unruly people in the pool and with no lifeguard on hand, it took a while for staff to become aware and resolve it, which happened after we already got fed up and left.

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
