Our stay was amazing you have everything you need here the best place for kids. Our last night tho was cold and dark there was no power for some reason the power was out for over 12 hrs thru the whole night no nothing sitting in the dark and the office wanted us to purchase lights or lantern we spent over 300$ a night already and your telling me I have to buy lights

It was a nice campground, they had many activities. Showers were hot in clean bathrooms. Great for kids, playground, s’mores, and crafts. Evening live music was surprisingly great. Down one star for the party people in the camper with a subwoofer that went after quiet time.

There was no hot water in some of the showers. The cabins did not have any amenities. No TV, no microwave, no mini fridge. We had to wear a wrist band the entire time. Kids were not supervised by their parents. The check in did not tell us about the codes on bathrooms or the not codes on the doors. Never got a tag for my car. Skunks living under the cabin next to us.

DJ was very kind and went above and beyond to accommodate our family's stay. We were informed that we could not set up a tent near our cabin, but he so kindly helped us upgrade and made our transition smooth.

Great facility with lots of amenities. Very well managed with texts of the activities and reminders, trash pickup at the sites, security measures to ensure only campers were on site, etc. Loved everything about it!

It was a fun trip. Great st up. Only thing that will stop me from coming back is the coffee shop that open at 9.00 and I have to wait two hours to buy coffee as small cabins don’t have kitchen.

Camp grounds were very clean and plenty of friendly staff to assist. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities mentioned online. 2 issues 1) first night the shower basin backed up and I had to removed scoop out so much hair and gunk. I let front desk know at clout, 2) pit bull wandering off leash that belongs to attendant. Female onsite even said “he’s not always nice”. Took this as a thre

We stayed in a cabin it was clean had everything we needed. All of the employees were kind and helpful. The pool was fantastic. My grand daughter was excited for the crafts. It’s always a great time at Santa Cruz KOA.

Quick overnight stop as we travelled through California. We loved the pool and hot tub, and the kids had a great time at the sand shack with the games and jumping pillow. The campground was clean and nicely laid out. Would definitely stay again for a longer time next time.

I usually do all fives. We really enjoy koa go almost every year. Happy about the security this year. Real upset about the loud music by pool. I observed a parent drinking and talking to family and couldn't hear her child yelling for help from pool. I would turn the volume down. I had to say hey ur kis is struggling. (Drowning). Beside that I love it. Thanks

Safe clean fun environment! Super close to beach, short drive to Santa Cruz and Monterey. Great campground for families with kids.

I love coming here, I always have a great experience. This trip especially stuck out because I was late to check in and the store was closed and I was still able to get wood to my cabin, which I was looking forward too. I greatly appreciate that and the staff. I can’t wait to come again, thank you so much for a great time :).

Horrible experience with a 3 and 1 year old. The cabin we stayed in was sprayed by a skunk. First night they gave us a different cabin. The next night “due to pre-bookings” we had to stay in the skunk infested cabin even though the cabin next to us was never used. Horrible experience. First and last time at this KOA. 0 Stars! Go to the Petaluma KOA!

Lovely lodging experience- so many things on site and nearby for families and kids to explore and experience. The biggest negative was the food on site. Limited food options and no fruit/vegetables. Sad to see since this site is down the road from a strawberry field, and local to many high quality farms.

We stay at the watsonville koa very often but this time the experience was not good at all the fridge smelled like fish and was replaced but the cabin still smelled like fish after and we told the front desk and they just gave us a air freshener which didn't help the smell

I had a great time, the cabin was clean and comfortable, the facilities and bathrooms were all well kept and clean. There was a lot to do at the camp and while it was very busy, it stayed fairly quiet during the posted quiet times and I had no issues sleeping.

The staff were always very helpful and happy! The cabins were really spacious, comfortable, clean and looked great! Due to a glitch in their booking system, they did not have the cabin we requested available, but the staff really went out of their way to find a comparable cabin that would work for our family for the days we wanted!!

We stay here every year, we normally love it. However this year, we arrived to our cabin fridge full of old rotten food, a dirty bathroom with lots of hair, dirty sheets, bones from old steaks on our patio, a broken shower and sand all over the floors… so disappointing and didn’t get as much as a sorry from the front desk or cleaning staff. Might have to find somewhere new for our annual stay.

I love Monterey/Santa Cruz KOA. Cabin 82 has lamps in the bedroom on the headboard of the main bed. They are in a really bad spot. All of us kept hitting our heads on them. Other than that we loved it.

For the most part we had a great time. The only issue was that a water pipe burst one night leaving us without water for about 8hours. We called it in at 4am but I had to reach out again at 9am to check in if someone was coming to fix it. Thankfully it was fixed by 10.30am that same morning. Other than that we had a great trip.

It was great! My only issue is my cabin had a skunk odor. I think the skunk may live under unit 111. It was especially strong in bathroom. Also codes to the pool did not work. Otherwise very nice.

Overall, this day was good. There was just issues with the refrigerator, the heater and the air conditioner. The options for the TV channels was East Coast and not relevant to the area we were staying in. Also, the channels were limited to just four stations all of them fox. The staff was pleasant.

Good place to take kids. Lots of activities, close to the beach, Santa Cruz, and Monterey. That said, if you don't have children, you might find it noisy, and crowded with kids running around. We did not appreciate the resort fee they tacked on as we used none of the amenities. Sites are spacious, clean and well maintained.

Staff really made this place a true 5 Star experience. Accomodations are great and better than most other KOA's we have been to. They take the security of our family very seriously with wristbands and constant patrol. Would 100% come back next time we are in the area.
