Our stay went okay. Spaces are much closer together than I realized and not much space of our own. At check in we were not given our key which made the first 30 minutes a pain because we have 9 month old triplets and were in the middle of unloading. After that, everything was okay.

Have been at this KOA at least once a year for 12 years. I have a daughter that lives in the area. The only thing I do not like is the wrist bands. Going out to a nice dinner, I'm taking them off then I have to go to office to get another one put on. Plus, it is a skin rash that I receive.

The park is clean and the employees are great. The park is loud and busy which is not what we were looking for.

Very clean and well maintained Campground. Clear driving directions to the cabins and campsites On site security Heated pool, updated clean bathrooms and showers, friendly staff Mattresses and Kabins are sanitized between guest stays.

It’s our family's favorite campsite. Clean, a lot for the kiddos to do. Pet friendly. Not far from the beach or other costal activities.

Everything was clean, perfect and organized. Only negative was the ratio of restrooms to campers. There were only three toilets in the men's restroom. That was like 100 campers to 3 toilets! If there were additional toilets, it was not anywhere near our cabin.

We loved it! We ended up booking an extra night. Definitely a few things to improve upon though. Good served at the Sand Shack was AWFUL, inedible. The fish was so tough I couldn’t bite through it. Was disappointed in the pizza as well. text messages that would come through about activities was often incorrect on time or what was being served. Quiet hours weren’t enforced even after texting

Very friendly staff. However, they put an extra charge on my card for no reason. I've never had a campsite do that before. So I will definitely choose another KOA in the future.

We had a great time at Santa Cruz/Monterrey KOA. There was so much to do there and employees were all so helpful and friendly. We especially loved the heated pool, bike rentals and bounce pillows. Wish we stayed longer and had more time for the other activities. We will definitely be back.

First time at the KOA. So fun! Staff and campers were all so nice, positive vibes from everyone! Good attitudes are really are contagious, and that starts with staff. Everyone was so friendly.

Wonderful stay! Every single employee seemed to generally enjoy being there. When they would ride past the cabin they always smiled and waved. Our cabin wasn’t ready at check in time and they graciously offered complementary s’mores. Which of course my son was very excited for! Very clean amenities. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

It's hard to read the white writing on the yellow background . However, are stay was excellent. Everyone was friendly. Everything is clean, neat, maintained friendly staff. Just a wonderful, wonderful time I would recommend it to anyone. It's close enough to go to the Bay. The aquarium and any of that, but and there is plenty to do right on the campsite. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, especially when our site electrical outlet needed to be repaired. Camp was clean and quiet.

The site is amazing! Lots of options of things to do with easy access to the beach. Great location! Staff is very friendly. My only hesitation is the costs. Seems like there is an extra charge for everything and it's more expensive than most campsites.

Our site was backed up to a lift station that created a horrible septic odor. Despite multiple attempts the issue wasn’t resolved until day 7/9 of our trip, resulting in having to have the windows and doors to the trailer closed at all times, and not being able to enjoy the patio with my dog. We are frequent campers at this location, but this trip literally stunk. Avoid site 221

We were in site 28 and the people in 27 or I should say the man was drunk and puked every where all nite on Thursday. The smell was horrendous. But we always love coming down from Sacramento to enjoy your facility. Your stafff is always so nice. Hope to see you soon. Thanks!

We were way too close to the kids play area Parents just allow their children free run with no supervision and noise is a big issue We like the camp ground but have picked sites that are way away from site 193 for our future visits

We travel to many KOA's throughout the country and this is by far the best we've stayed at. The staff is amazing A special shout out to Gabby & Lyssa. The location is incredible, a quick walk gets you to the beautiful beaches, this is a kids paradise. Facilities are always clean, the grounds are safe for kids to ride scooters/bikes all day as the 5mph is strictly enforced!

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together. This is exactly the kind of campground that makes those experiences enjoyable for everyone—including the parents! A big thank-you to the team for creating such a welcoming environment.
