Beautiful spacious lots. All the staff were amazingly helpful ! Very close to all the attractions at Santa Cruz/Monterey and Carmel by the Sea.

We had cabin 183 over thanksgiving… our refrigerator froze EVERYTHING in the fringe (and there was a lot because of Thanksgiving). We were camping with a large family group. We noticed the office we lost all our food and refrigerator was never fixed. Definitely feel like we should have been compensated for the loss of a couple hundred dollars worth of food.

The only good thing was the pool/ hot tub. Power went out Thanksgiving night. We were freezing and had to walk across the park to shower. When we were late 29 minutes for check out because of these inconveniences they were rude and all the activities were expensive considering the price of the spot ( 120 off peak no sewer crazy rate) even the coffee $2.50 really you’re not Starbucks.

We stayed at this location twice and we love it! Check in should be earlier than 4pm. Please check the bbq grill to make sure it works and has enough propane. We only had 2 trash bags in the kitchen. The cabin was clean and cozy. They allow pets which is a huge plus!!! Highly recommend!!!

We had electrical issues in are site and got timely help. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We camped with family and had a great time. The only thing I didn’t like was the lady would not give me printed receipts for the 3 sites I paid for. Just told me she emailed to me.

Meet up with family for Thanksgiving. Spent a fabulous 5 days. Visited the beach and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Enjoyed all of the great activities. Planning our next camping trip already.

The place, the activities, the options and the appreciated rules…it was so pleasant because of all these things. The only problem: Airstream windows wouldn’t operate so they were cracked open and stayed in that position. In the night, it made things freezing. In the day, too hot — and the smoke from our neighbors’ fire pit seeped in. So a once-over on the Airstream maintenance would help.

I really enjoyed the cabin but Friday night electric went out and I had gone to buy a heater the night before I thought there were heaters in the cabin, I was told that, by someone but then the electric went out Friday night and we were very cold.. otherwise the park was in great shape very impressed by how well kept is.

The ladies at the front desk were great. The one that was suffering the after effects of laryngitis was phenomenal! The only real complaint was with the bathrooms. The sinks were only given a cursory wipe down while we were there and the floors had what looked like years worth of built up grime on them.

We love this campground and have been there many times before but the last few times that we’ve been there we’ve had major issues with people walking through our campsites, and I think that is so disrespectful. And also the last couple times we’ve been there we’ve had people near our campsites, playing loud music, or being very loud and having to ask them to quiet down after 10pm.

Electricity was out the whole time, appreciate the 50% refund but still it's not good enough for it's high price. Also, no sewer drain on the RV spot is a big inconvenience. The Fun Train was really good.

The KOA at Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay was lovely and the amenities were amazing . . . SO many exciting things for the kids to do. However . . . the railroad tracks at the entrance were AWFUL!! They almost ripped out our levelers on our RV and the trailer of the car we were towing. Fix THAT and we'll be back again!

Everything was great….but our room could have been cleaned better. There was lots of dust on many of the fixtures, such as, the refrigerator, coffee maker, and the floor. The door mechanism and lock also need to be repaired in 235. We have already booked for next year.

It’s was our 10 year of a family gathering in the cabins. Everyone had a good time. We appreciated the help with out toilet. Some of the cabins had difficulty with the lack of hot water. I hope the staff will make sure that all of the systems (hot water heater, refrigerator, cabin heater) are fully functional. Our refrigerator was in need of defrosting. Requiring a 4 night minimum over Thanksgiving is overreach. The cabins need attention and repairs. Ours had hot water problems and fridge issues. Other cabin had plumbing issues. A lot of $$ charged for problems such as that. Bathroom door cannot lock. But they did give me a discount for no hot water

We stayed in a deluxe cabin (which is very costly). We were disappointed in the cleanliness. The floors were so dirty the bottom of our slippers and socks were black. i was told there would be a toaster oven but there wasn't one. All in all the cabin was not clean and there were cobwebs everywhere.

The stay was great just a small hiccup with no power when we were checking in but either from there it was fun and great for my kiddos and family and also was able to move to a different site with full hook ups and power

We have been coming every year for 10 years and this year everything just seemed better. The sites were cleaner with no broken items in them, the plug ins were upgraded and consistent wifi was available to our part of the campground! Every staff member we encountered was kind, had a good sense of humor, and helpful.

It was my first time staying in a cabin with kids and it was amazing! So nice to have a bathroom and sinks available 24/7. We stayed in November & the heater kept us very warm inside. The queen bed was not super comfortable & was very noisy, it made us not want to get out of bed while others were sleeping. The pull out couch was uncomfortable to sleep on, so someone just slept on top of the couch.

This was our second time staying here. Generally, it's a good time for the kids. However, Sunday, November 19th of our trip, a group of teens began monopolizing the jumping pillow and started bouncing the younger kids off while doing flips. My kid was injured. I was informed that I had to work it out with the teen and/or their parents. I'd recommend the staff monitor the jumping pillow more.

everyone was very nice except one grouchy worker who was female. She came by in her cart with just an awful look on her face and looked us up and down. We had been cleaning our dishes and rinsed off our car, she proceeded to tell us that she was concerned for the next guests because the asphalt was wet. We have stayed here several time and this time we’re disappointed that our site was used as a thoroughfare to the jump pad. I would recommend the campground but would not recommend site 94

Everything was great with the exception of the cabin 13 itself. It smelled liked it was peed by previous animals all over. We didn’t complain only because that cabin was the only option to be next to our friends we came with. Otherwise won’t not tolerate that smell.

We had no heat and no kitchen I had made the assumption we get a burner stovetop in a cabin. Our friends were supposed to stay next door and reservations got messed up they stayed on the other end. Horrible experience overall I don't recommend this stay

The only issue we had was when we first checked in. As we were checking in and pulling up and parking our trailers, there was heavy traffic that was blocking the driveway. There was no one there from the KOA to help us move forward or to keep us from blocking others. Otherwise everything else was great.

I stayed in a airstream and wasn’t informed when I made the reservation that there is no heat and that it will never be fixed. They gave us space heaters. I would have chosen something different if they were transparent about not having any heat. Also no shower towels and when I brought it up they said they would deliver some. Did not happen.

LOVE this KOA! It's our home base for weekender trips in our RV. Friendly staff, nice and clean, great amenities. Love the themed weekends, and holiday celebrations.

This is a very nice KOA and definitely a KOA type experience. We checked in quickly and our spot was adequate for our van. The showers in the morning were good but could have been a bit cleaner. That is why the four star rating...
