We had so much fun! We don’t like to tent camp and prefer a cabin to a trailer or RV so this was perfect. There are so many amenities and the cabin came equipped with the many things I didn’t expect like a toaster, dishes, cutting board. There was a pool/spa and laundry service so it’s glamping at its finest. We will definitely book more visits and recommend to everyone. Thank you!

This year we did a cabin for the first time. We got there 50 minutes before 4pm check in time. I asked if our cabin happened to be ready. She said let me check then said it will be cleaned in 15 minutes. She then said it’s $25 for early check in. I said I was only checking if it was ready. I had to come back after 4 to avoid fee. Cabin was dusty. Also not a lot of activities during the week.

We stayed during the week with two 11-year old girls. They loved the park amenities and proximity to the beach. Night swimming and the Dive In were a big hit. If the Sand Shack schedule was online we would have stayed Fri night. Wrist bands are very annoying and no one checked them. The pool gate code could be shorter. We felt nickel and dimed on top of $200/night to camp,

The cabin was perfect for me and two children. The beds were comfy and the they loved the bunk beds. The camp ground activities were a lot of fun for them. I especially appreciate the clean , well maintained, spacious restrooms and showers.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Your park offers everything families could ask for. It is located a fun bike ride away from the beach and nearby communities too!!

The customer service was amazing! Plenty of activities for everyone. Clean, well maintained, and safe property. Plenty of room at our site for 3 tents and our vehicle. Close to multiple day trips.

Liked this KOA, but price was higher then any other KOA we stayed at during our 2 weeks travel. It was a beautiful and well maintained property. The dog loved the park and we had a good night there.

Very kid friendly so if you book a site next to a trail entrance, expect hikers, kids riding e-bikes and motorcycles, and dog walkers throughout the day. Lots of planned activities for kids. Largest camp store that we've ever seen at a KOA campground and fully stocked with everything you left at home.

We are so impressed. 5 years now and each trip is better than the last. The staff is excellent and so friendly, the camp is clean and the store well stocked. We love KOA Santa Cruz

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful area. That being said I was disappointed with the last minute change the campground made that gave away the dog friendly site that had been assigned to our companions to someone else not an hour before we arrived at 3pm. I even confirmed the sites several weeks in advance. We were even staying a day longer than the person they gave the site to which seemed ridiculou.

We had a great stay at the KOA. It is always so much fun and my family always makes the best memories with you all. The foam party was so cool. My only complaint is for a trailer nearby smoking weed - it’s fine for them to do what they want to do but my children are not normally exposed to that and being in tight spaces just made me feel a bit uneasy.

It was great except the floor of the cabin as soon as you walk in is very squeaky and loud and we rented a red four seater electric thing and the battery died after 30 min. They told us to come back the next day n we could use the other 30 min, but when we did the battery wasn’t charged� and they would give us any kind of credit.

Awesome! Clean campsites and surroundings, friendly, helpful staff, proximity to so many activities and beaches. This was our first time here and we had no idea how great this campground is for kids. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay.

We stay here annually, the grounds are always in good shape and the staff is attentive and friendly. There are tons of amenities and the location is excellent.

It was a brief one-day stay, but we had a blast. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the Bounce Jumping area and other playgrounds, and the beach was accessible for a nice sunset!

First timers. We brought the grandkids, daughter & son in law. What a surprise. They (we) loved it. Staff was great. Entertainment was great. Activities were great. Thank you Andy & team. We left with big smiles. And some 3 year old tears as she didn’t want to go home-

The employees at the KOA were all extremely nice and very helpful. It is always so refreshing to experience true customer service. In the past, we have never really utilized all of the amenities that the camp offers but this time we did. I was pleasantly surprised how nice everything was and how many activities there were..We already booked our stay for next year!

The staff was absolutely fantastic! They went out of the way to help us throughout the week. The activities for kids were great and everything was very clean and tidy. Such a great experience! We would definitely recommend this camp to families!

We stayed 4 nights and honestly didn’t have enough time. We made a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the beach, but our 4 year old granddaughter’s best adventures were at the KOA!

Site was clean and ready to go. Staff was very friendly. Needs to be some kind of supervision being done on the bounce pillow. Also, I didn't receive any text messages on the activities such as train ride, palm tree climb, ceramics, etc. I enjoyed that feature from the KOA

We visited the SC/M KOA for our third family reunion. We keep returning because everyone who works there is so nice and the grounds are well tended to. Thank you for making our vacation perfect!

Nice campers, beautiful weather and a beautiful park..doesn’t get any better. Staff over the top friendly and helpful. Great activities for the children and fresh baked pizza. Wish they had malsadas ,and music during the week.

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together. This is exactly the kind of campground that makes those experiences enjoyable for everyone—including the parents! A big thank-you to the team for creating such a welcoming environment.
