Everything was great, quick check in. Big lots, a lot of space. The only thing I did not like is that they put an armband on you upon check in and you’re supposed to have it on throughout your stay. I’ve never experienced that and it was kind of uncomfortable. I didn’t like it, other than that everything was nice.

Very well serviced by the staff! Very quiet campground, even on a Friday night! Hookups are great with excellent water pressure. Great place to bring children which was why we were there with our Grandsons! My only complaint is the pool. While it was nice, and the hot tub wonderful, the amount of salt in the water was atrocious! I could taste salt in my moustache from an hour! Not necessary

Took our grand kids for their first time and they loved it. It was hard to leave. We have been coming since our now adult grandkids were small. Fun, clean, staf always nice and helpful. We'll be bac!!

I thought the checkout time was 12, not 11, and I also took a fall and hurt my knee. So packing up went a little slow but, the staff there was very understanding very nice and the gal even offered my dog a biscuit so much appreciated! We'll. Definitely return here again, great property!

The initial room booked smelled really bad.We tried airing it out and with no avail.Next morning lmor for office then went to office, the rep offered 10% off & to clean room as all the cabins our size were booked.Came back, the air freshner & ozone made my mom nauseated.Went to front office to see what they could do.Kendall was AMAZING.she offered upgrade right away, it was clean!. thanks kendall

We had so much fun! We have stayed at this KOA for a multi-family trip the last SIX years. We rented a golf cart this year, and it was definitely a highlight of the trip for the kids AND the adults. See you next summer!

I wish you still had a bench/nightstand in the basic cabin. I needed a place for my CPAP, I ended up using my ice chest.

There were too many “extras” for purchase for children. The price for amenities did not match the offering. There needs to be a gate on the cabin steps, our toddler wanted to leave and it was frustrating to have to keep the door closed to keep him restrained.

We stayed for 2 nights. The rest park is nice. There is a measure of privacy due to the trees and bushes between sites. It is very green and appealing. There are activities suitable for children and we saw many of them as they rode by our rv riding bicycles. They have a nice shop to buy conviences. There is controlled access to allow only those staying or invited into the area. We really enjoyed.

We had the best time. Staff was very friendly and it was so cool to see all of the things that staff was doing on a day to day basis. The pool was heated and salt water? It was so amazing! Very clean too.

We have been coming to Santa Cruz KOA for over 25 years. The facility is wonderful, clean and staff are professional. The location is prime. However, the prices to stay are getting out of control. I understand it is a business, but when you are paying over $250 to plug in a trailer to electric that is getting ridiculous as well as cabins with no bathrooms. 10% discount is insulting!!

So much to do for the kids and adults alike. Meticulously maintained grounds and incredibly friendly staff. We will be back at least once per year. My only advice- lower the price of firewood. $20 per bundle is robbery.

Campground was beautiful and everyone is so nice and friendly! Amazing staff! They had so much to do and i loved the store and how easy it was to get anything you needed! 10/10 cant wait to go back!

It was awesome! Loved the dive in movie and climbing the palm tree! We had a great time with the playground, and thought the nature trail was such a cool find! Loved this place!

Great location. Lots of family friendly activities. You just need to be on the lookout for kids on bikes, scooters and other forms of transportation!!!

The tie dye on tap was so cool! My kid had a great time on the playground and bounce pad. We had a very spacious camping spot with easy to use water and electric hook-ups for our vanagon. From this KOA, we did monterey bay aquarium and the santa cruz beach boardwalk with ease. Absolutely loved this place!

Our first time staying at a KOA. This one has so many amenities that made our stay super comfortable. The tent, RV and common areas were clean and maintained well. Love the heated swimming pool as we were able to enjoy it even if it was foggy and cold.

We have stay at this KOA twice a year for the past nine years. We love the facilities and you guys have done a great job, adding fun amenities and events! One thing that really needs some work is the skunk issue, particularly in cabins 235 through 231. It has been unbearable some years. This is unacceptable for the price we are paying per night. As always, the kids loved all of the activities. We also noticed some updates since our last stay, including new paint and mulch, which is great. The one thing I think needs some replacement is some of the mattresses, especially on the larger beds. In the past, this hasn't been an issue, but a few of us have noticed the mattresses have grown thin, and we can feel the wooden rungs beneath us.

KOA is fun for kids. I just wish it was little more cleaner. In the sink, water stopper was missing and I could see thick brown water marks every time I use the sink to wash. I almost threw up.

The amenities were nice, the activities enjoyable, and the grounds were lovely. Wish the cabins were cleaner at check in. We found a blood stain on our bedding and the bathroom fan could use a vacuum. It would be amazing if the cabin came with a wet mop given how dirty the floors got. Safety-wise the bunk bed ladders are awful. A better list of amenities available would have been helpful too.

We had the most amazing time we’ve been coming to this campground for years. The staff is very helpful, very friendly and the young lady that was doing the train rides. She was amazing. It’s very clean organized all the activities. The pool was clean. My grandkids had a blast.

Terrible. Dirty toilets, dirty showers, very long walk to the dirty pool over very dangerous stairs. Garbage everywhere, all the bins were full and overloaded.

It was a last minute stay and although the only space available was by the children’s play area it was very much appreciated! Little expensive for arriving in the evening. Missed out on using the hot tub! :(

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together.
