I love this place and have been many times. This time around I noticed how many ebikes there were and the excessive speed. I wish the staff would monitor it and perhaps limit the type of bikes that are allowed. It seemed very dangerous!

Had a wonderful 5 days there. Through the weekend, it gets busy, but was still very peaceful. Loved seeing all the kids playing and families making memories. Loved our stay there.

It was the most perfect family reunion weekend, especially because we had eight children with us between the ages of three and nine. As a grandparent, it was so fun to experience KOA through their eyes!

We always have a great time at the Santa Cruz/Monterey KOA. Our kids have a blast, all of the dog-friendly amenities are wonderful, and we look forward to returning each time we leave.

-Bunk bed was comfortable. -Main bed in master was very uncomfortable. -Clean cabin -Please do something about the E Bike and E Scooter situation. It’s pretty dangerous for people walking or young kids on pedal bikes or scooters. I never felt safe with my young kids who just wanted to ride their normal bike not knowing if an older kid on an e bike was coming around the corner.

We had a great campsite. The overall property is so well maintained. All the staff were super friendly and very helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that other two bedroom cabins had a mini fridge and this one did not. Also, the layout of our fire pit and parking spot were very tight and we could not use that and had to use our friends. In addition, it also seemed like the campground was overflowing with people, even though many spots were empty.

We have been coming there for 14 years now. At least twice a year. We love the nature trail. I’m very concerned about the children riding all there electric bikes scooters motorcycle without supervision of parents. Please don’t get me wrong. We love watching the children have fun.

This is the 4th time we have stayed here and always enjoy our stay. This is also the first time we have had a problem with extremely noisy neighbors. I messaged the after hours number twice and the complaint was acknowledged but the noise was ridiculous until 2 AM. Somehow there should be consequences for those making so much noise. Sleep was impossible.

We enjoyed our stay here. Bathrooms were kept very clean as were the grounds of the camp. The people who work here are very nice and more than helpful. We will stay here again.

It was great! I stayed in a camping cabin for just one night. It was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is the addition of a chair in the cabin. Also, the pull chain for the ceiling fan was way too far out of reach! Clean restrooms. Friendly and helpful staff! Loved it!

Two nights. Very clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable site with ample grass area, table and chairs. My wife enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Our dog enjoyed the play area. A bit expensive. We will be staying at Benbow KoA next week for half the rate.

Way too expensive for any kind of camping. Staff was friendly! Leaf blowing happen 3 times in 1 day in the same lane! Seems a little excessive especially with all the extra noise it caused!!

Park is great but more for kids. Had kids crossing behind trailer on bikes while backing into space.Most unhappy was not given space I requested 193. My fault Didnt realize it til after we had already setup.When I asked about it was told optimizer computer moved us. Noone ever went to space 193. Was given 186 it's tighter. Had to fight with Bush in the way during set up. We won't be back.

Friendly staff and lots of fun things to do. We enjoyed the music at Campchella it was awesome. This was our second time camping here and we loved it. The campground and facilities are kept clean and updated. Thank you for a great camp experience.

The facilities themselves were fantastic. Campchella was happening & my kids had a blast. My only complaint would be the location of our spot. We got a more expensive site to be by the playground. I didn't realize we were given a spot with a path that ran right next to it with nothing up for privacy. It felt like people were constantly running through our site because of the proximity to path.

I downgrade any RV park that doesn’t have paper towels in the bathroom. I also downgrade it for not having accessible dumpsters. I do not want to keep my trash around until I can put it out in front of the RV to be picked up. I want to throw it away when I want.

Great staff and campground. Looks like they gave the place a real good tune up with some freshened up landscape and other little details. The grounds looked really nice and refreshed.

Great staff and campground with large, clean sites. There are lots of amenities and activities for all ages. Hidden off Hwy. 1, this place is nice and quiet. The store is well stocked and also has Marianne's ice cream which is really good! We stayed in a back-in site with our 29' trailer and had no problem getting into our site. One of the best KOA's we've stayed in!!!!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our three-day stay. The facilities were excellent, and we especially appreciated the pool, golf cart, and well-maintained RV camping sites. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. The bathrooms and grounds were kept very clean, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We look forward to coming back!

This place is amazing!! What a gem of a campground. TONS for the kids to do, super clean, quiet, we felt safe and right at home. Gabi and all of the staff were incredibly helpful when we had a problem with our rented RV during our stay. They really looked after us and helped us not feel so alone. We would absolutely return again if we get the chance!

Great stay. Great facilities. One suggestion/recommendation- would be nice to have a compost bin available to dispose of food waste, because food waste that end up in the landfill creates methane which is a potent greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change. Food waste that are properly disposed of will be regenerated into nutrient rich soil.

Cabin 237 smelled bad, it was like a mold smell, it got better after I turned down the AC to 70 degrees, but the mold smell continued till we checked out, I believe that the cabin needs deep cleaning, especially in the bathroom area around the bathtub. The bedroom Mattress was uncomfortable, the springs were noisy, it should be replaced, my friends experienced the same in their Cabins.

Great time as always. The only thing that I would suggest for next year is as part of the information you give at check-in, remind campers to not walk through campsite. Each year during this weekend we always have people walking through our site and we have to tell them not to. There are plenty of pathways that they can use.

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together. This is exactly the kind of campground that makes those experiences enjoyable for everyone—including the parents! A big thank-you to the team for creating such a welcoming environment.
