The staff are great and they keep a nice clean campground. However, the internet is extremely spotty in the long term area....which is very frustrating as that should be where it is the strongest since people are living there/working from there. Otherwise it was a nice two month stay.

Staff was excellent. Unfortunately, campsite 10 has a large street light directly above it. This really shouldn't be a campsite at all.

An overall great place to stay. Between Santa Cruz and Monterey. Not far from Big Sur. The spots are big and the park is clean. Looking forward to coming back in the summer with the kids’!

4.5 Great location, great amenties, clean and organized. Only reason I wouldn't give 5 is that during my stay I was asked to move cabins for no reason. As a well paying client, it was unnessary to ask me to move to another cabin at a higher rate when there were clearly several of the same type of cabins available. Overall great stay. I simply recommend more customer centric practices.

We loved our stay in the Deluxe Cabin this February. It was close enough to the activities that we wanted to enjoy and had plenty to do on site including the heated pool!

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was so very friendly & helpful. When the electricity was out; 1. it wasn't for very long 2. the person I stopped on the road got answers for me very quickly 3. my laundry was in the dryer & they restarted the load so my laundry would be dry at the end of the cycle. Bathrooms were clean & it just seemed that everyone working there enjoyed their job.

Had a great time, only complaint was that kids were still yelling and running around well after 11:00 pm . Husband went out to ask them to please keep the noise down, shortly after that security was out, someone must have called to complain about the kids. We wish that security would drive around after curfew to enforce the rules so we wouldn’t have to.

We enjoyed our stay, the kids especially liked the bouncing pillow. The adults did not care for wearing the bracelets and I wish I had know our site was going to back up to the pump for the pillow as it was noisy. That said, we're talking about coming back during the summer activities when the weather is better!

We have been coming to the Santa Cruz KOA for 9 years now and always have a wonderful time. Even though it was raining most of our visit, my son and his friends still had a great time swimming in the rain since the pool was heated. They were even able to ride the go-carts when the rain subsided for a bit. The KOA staff was very friendly and helpful, as always.

We have been going for President's Weekend for the last few years. Last year we encountered some unpleasant staff & their unruly child. This year the staff was truly amazing. Everyone was very friendly & respectful. The camp looked very clean & well taken care of. Our trash was picked up constantly which we really appreciated. The campers were all pleasant to be around. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. This is one of the best KOAS we have stayed at and can’t wait to stay again. The staff were friendly and kind and always seemed to have a smile on their face. The park was well maintained and overall just a fantastic experience. Being immersed in nature was the icing on the cake. We heard and saw all sorts of animals and felt like we were apart of nature truly. Wonderful

I wish the sewer for the site next to me wasn't in my view. The speed limit if 5 mph is good, but it should be adhered to by all, i.e. electric conveyances etc

Everyone was very friendly. There was a mistake with our reservation but they fixed it and made it right. The campground is very clean and there are a lot of activities for the kids. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for the first time this last weekend for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. On our way out I called Kendall in the office and booked our next trip for mothers day weekend. Needless to say we had a blast. Thanks for the fun time Brandon and Michelle Cabotage

It surpassed our expectations! The cabin we stayed in was charming and immaculate, and the campgrounds were so nice. We were surprised there were so many things to do. We took advantage of the pool and the snack bar for dinner, and really enjoyed the musical entertainment. We would especially like to commend Susan, who registered us on our arrival. She was so welcoming and helpful!

We had a good stay overall and really enjoyed the two-room cabin. It was comfortable and worked well for our family. One downside was being next to the path leading to the bathrooms. There was a lot of foot traffic near our window, which was sometimes loud and disruptive and startled our dog. We also noticed someone smoking marijuana nearby.

The grounds were lovely, and the employees extremely friendly and helpful. We happened to have neighbors who got drunk and very loud pretty early on in the evening the first night, but fortunately they fell asleep well before the 10:00 quiet time. We didn't know if we should say anything prior to 10:00. The next night was much better. Other than that, our stay was really nice, thank you all!

everyone was very friendly My husband and I we rented a cabin it was clean they had food if you wanted to purchase. They’re close by the beach.we had a good time we really recommend it.

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together. This is exactly the kind of campground that makes those experiences enjoyable for everyone—including the parents! A big thank-you to the team for creating such a welcoming environment.
