For the camping site I was very disappointed site #7. I had to share the water faucet with the next camp. The fee was really expensive. The bathroom shower area was not clean. There were no toilet seat covers in the ladies bathroom. The women's restroom was in the shower area. Where there was no sign outside to state "Women". The area was unsafe with small children riding their bikes on the road.

Wow this campground is really special, they have it all! My kids were so entertained with the amenities (bouncing pillow, play ground, fun events throughout our stay.)Also u can tell the people that work here take pride in taking care of the park! This is our second stay at Santa Cruz, Watsonville KOA. We had five of our grandchildren with us. They had a wonderful time. The sites are always very clean. The campground is very clean. Great staff, wonderful things for the kids to do. Very close to the beach. Not a far drive at all for you to go to the boardwalk and enjoy a day there. I would recommend this campground 100% to families even just

The staff was extremely nice and willing to help in any way,10 star staff. The facility was clean the only reason will will not be back most likely is the cost of $200 avg for a camping site. You can go 2 miles down the road to Sunset beach and its only $35 with running toilets and showers.

Everything was great as usual. We have been coming to camp since 1994. This time , however, at check in we arrived at 1 pm, ans usual. Our site was ready. We only have a passenger van not a SUV. The man at the desk wanted to charge $25 for an hour and said we had to leave the premises ( as if we would steal the tea service.). He was very unfriendly.

At registration/store I entered with my service dog. Sarah at the counter in a very load voice wanted to know what services he provided over the heads of at least 15 customers. Very embarrassing then told me to take him out. DJ also employee kept confirming also over the heads of customers. She would listen to what I was trying to tell her. I asserted my rights and stayed in the store to register.

Welcomed cheerfully at gate, unfortunately, excitement ended there. Check in process was very confusing and took way long than any other check in I have experienced. Extremely disappointing that we could not have 2 family members come for a few hours to visit, as guests. We suggested a different color wrist band to show they were guests. Staff everywhere all day made it very difficult to relax.

The price is just getting too high. Too many barking dogs. The parking for the cabins on the left just as you come in is inadequate. Anyone with a full-size pick-up truck is sticking out into the roadway, making it difficult to leave with a rig. The dump station was also backed up with traffic making it difficult to leave. Check in time just keeps getting later and later. We did not re book.

We love it here. The only thing that needed more "regular" attention was the bathrooms in the laundry which is used by swimmers. Otherwise this is our favorite Kids zone!

We have come to this KOA for four years now and have enjoyed each visit however with the average cost per night of $187.50 and then additional charges for a tent overnight we feel that the rate is too high on a fixed income for seniors. There were also no additional discounts that could be given to us so unfortunately, next year we will not be able to afford to come to this nice campground.

Stayed 3nights in cabin super expensive been going here over 20 years has become all about the money showed up on a Tuesday not to busy got there little before 3 grand kids cold from the beach they charged 25 dollars for early check in when place was ready and campground not full filling out these reviews are useless no one ever contacts you

Such nice staff. The amenities for kids is fantastic. Our kids are 3y and 6y and it was so easy to just be right by the playground for them to play. So nice that they pick up your trash if left at the curb and also so nice to have firewood delivered to your site just by texting their text line. We booked for next year already!

Excellent. Only issue was the shower. We couldn’t find the hot water. The handle would spin all the way around and it took us 15 min just to find the heat portion of the handle to have hot water come out. Also. You are losing tons of water due to us trying to find the hot water.You didn’t have the soap bubbles for the kids to run through this year. Kids were disappointed.

We were disappointed to learn at check in that we weren’t neighbors with the other RV in our party despite requesting that in advance. The office staff explained the rationale and we understood but wished we had known in prior to arrival. They sent a bundle of firewood and a fire starter to each site as an apology which was appreciated. We ended up having a great stay and we will likely go back.

Staff helpful and very responsive. Activities for weekday stays are pretty limited. Pool and hot tub arte very nice and super clean. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Drop off of supplies and pickup or trash campside is really nice. Would like to see evening family activities like outdoor movies

Loved the place but should have been told about the Ticks being known in the trees. My trailer, my self, my daughter and my granddaughter all had Ticks attached to us and found 5 in my trailer. Thank you for letting us move

A ton of things to do, campsites have a nice distance from each other. Nice pool. Clean, nice playground , A little pricey in store (especially firewood for our fire pit)

We had a great time! The kids loved the great playground and jumping area. We loved the option to grab dinner and breakfast a couple times at the snack shack. I took off a star because the campground capacity is too dense. It feels you are on top of your neighbors it’s so narrow. Also there were too many kids on the jump pillow & a few littler kids got hurt because the rules weren’t enforced.

Love this KOA one of the best we’ve been to. My only point of feedback would be the jump pillow hours were quite extended than what is posted. We stayed near the jump pillow which is great BUT we expected the hours would be enforced as posted 9am- Dusk. Each morning the pillow stared at 8:30 am and went well past dusk (9:30pm) This was a little frustrating.

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
