We always love coming here. We have been coming here for over 30 years. When my children were young, I felt safe coming here by myself with them. My husband was not always able to come with us.

Campgrounds and campsite were very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future.

We stayed in one of the cabins one night. It was nice. It was just a couple things that could be better. In my opinion. The cabin could be a lot cleaner attention to detail I guess and a light outside the cabin so when you sit outside. You can see

Love the activities for kids and amenities in cabin. Maybe more space heaters for family cabins, one is not enough.

Pricing for October is out of control and the E bike situation is out also out of control .

I booked over the phone, instructions weren’t clear about the number of queen beds available. I felt like I was told 2 queen beds were in the deluxe cabin, when in reality only 1 was there. It was way too expensive for what it was. Also the fire pit had a street light shining right over it, taking away the camping feeling. I brought up to the office but was only given a simple apology.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. We were a large group and all the activities kept the kiddos busy all weekend.

The KOA itself was very nice, very clean and the staff very pleasant, the amount of motorized ‘toys’ made it very hard to enjoy yourself. There were so many e-bikes, e-dirt bikes, e-scooters all riding too fast, racing, popping wheelies, almost all without helmets. It was an accident looking for a place to happen. We decided between this & the price increase NOT to come back for Halloween in 2

We came for the Halloween weekend! The camp decorations were so fun. KOA put up more decorations than last year. The activities were so fun. Everyone had a great time.

It was fun this year. The haunted house was way scarier than previous years which is awesome. The last couple years there hasn’t been the foam parties which was my kids favorite part. It’s kind of a bummer that almost everything costs extra money since we pay so much to stay. I hope next year it’s warmer and they do another pool party! DJ’s music this year was very dub step, not as fun as

Could not have been better!!! Wow!! I was in a “pinch me” state all weekend. We had 3 generations with us including a 3 year and injured person, everyone always had something nice to do and was well taken care of. Thank you so much to the crew for the great hospitality and Halloween fun! Core life memory

We have stayed at the park many times. This trip was exceptional. We got there before our check in time (long drive) and they got our sites and one cabin ready for us. Only waited maybe 20 minutes. Kendell was wonderful and so helpful. Lots to keep grandkids busy. We have already booked for next year and Kate was very helpful. The park is in excellent shape.

The stay started on a great note when our cabin somehow ended up next to the trailer spots of people we came to meet up with. The power outage, not KOA fault, added some drama. The facilities and staff were great. The only downside was the cabin shower was not easily controlled for water temp. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

We felt safe and place is secure. Lots of things to do but only wish we knew all activities were mostly only on the weekends. Only complaint was too many kids racing around in scooters and bikes too quickly and with loud motors. Staff was very kind.

Another amazing trip for halloween!! I cant say enough about this place and the staff. My wife and 2 boys have been about everywhere and nowhere else feels like home like santa cruz KOA. The staff is amazing and always on point and accommodating and smiling. Ryley, Shady, Kate, Aaron, Skye, Kathy, Drew, Dave, Marcos and so many more and of course, Andy!! Thanks for all the memories and all you do!

We love to stay here. The campground is immaculate. The staff is wonderful. The pool and jacuzzi are so clean and refreshing. There are so many things to do for people of all ages. And it’s close to amazing beaches and shopping necessities. Great place to stay and revisit.

We stayed here for two nights and the amenities and cleanliness/neatness of the campground are exceptional. Beautiful weather and great location.

Very cute, fun and beautiful layout. There were two times I couldn't use the women's bathrooms closest to our campsite and had to wait what felt like a long time to have access again. The Sunday morning we left the woman cleaning at least told me where the other women's bathrooms were. That was appreciated.

We love this place. But staying on a Halloween weekend is extremely over priced. It is fun. But also our cabin smelled of mold and wifi was out on Saturday night. Definitely wont pay to stay in a cabin again. And I cant afford thousands in animations, so we probably wouldnt decorate again either. Every other month is great! Thank you.

We've stayed here several times in the past decade, but the last couple times there have been rude guest playing loud music and the Staff doesn't mind. I couldn't leave this place fast enough; I won't be back. They seem to have a homeless problem too. They can't keep the homeless out, so all guests are required to wear wrist bands 24/7 so the Staff can tell them apart from the homeless.

The site we were in was not ideal (site 43). We had the neighboring site's hook ups in the middle of our site. It was a little difficult to move around when their plumbing was running through our site. But the staff and the conveniences of the campground itself made our stay very pleasant. I just wouldn't camp in site 43 again.

We had an absolute wonderful first experience this last weekend! Re booked for next year already and planning some stays in between. The kids had an absolute BALL playing on the giant playground and bouncer. We enjoyed all the Spooky Season Fun being there in October. The bathrooms were clean, well maintained, as were the grounds themselves. Fantastic KOA!

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together.
