My family and I enjoyed our first stay at this KOA. It was beautiful all the trees and activities. Also staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back!

All of your staff so friendly and kind, oh, did I mention happy? I can't tell you what it means to see happy workers �. We had the best time so relaxing and the camp grounds are so clean as are the facilities. I absolutely would come back. Beyond a 10. Thanks again �ϋ�

This stay as amazing stay. The office staff helped us change our reservation when we arrived so we didn't have to set up our tent in the pouring down rain.. thanks to all that helped us it was greatly appreciated. The cabin put us within 90 minutes of all the places we really wanted to see.. played the pebble beach golf course.. did the 17 mile tour.. santa cruz and a day in san franscico

It would be nice to have more activities for the kids to participate in- most were only 30 minutes long and we either made it or missed it.

When we arrived we were pretty late. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. All staff on grounds were so nice and friendly very welcoming. The cabins were very clean . Grounds are well maintained all the facilities were open and well cared for. Thanks

It was Good!! However, We went there to regroup, watch , TV, & hear the rain. The TV didn’t or wouldn’t connect. 2 workers worked at it . The 1st guy over an hour the 2nd guy ended up putting in His Own Personal Info so we could have TV. That was kind of him. But, of course we lost that info after the power went back on. KOA is Great, but please make it easier for anyone to use the TVS.

Out in santa cruz area aquarium fun in montereyn we try to stay at KOA camps wearever we go Great staff from the gate to grounds keepers. Didnt book in time for in caben restroom but it was just fine walking to restroom at all & any time felt safe, very clean, great lighting. Heated pool was a rare treat, was raining off and on during our stay having that pool was awesome � see u soon santa cru

This was the first time in over 10 stays at this location that I found staff to be unfriendly and even confrontational at times during the check in process. I also found different staff I knowledgeable about rebooking for the same cabin the following year at the time of check out.

Staff nice, camp grounds well kept and clean. Lots of things to do. My only complaint is the mold and ants in cabins. The mold is visible and caused lots of coughing. We stayed in delux cabin 83. The cabins are not cheap, please address mold issues.

We usually try to stay at State or County Parks and stay away from “resorts,” but this was our first time in the area and we opted for convenience. This place has SO much to do, and the kids were constantly entertained. The price is, well, ridiculous, but unlike other “resorts” I’ve been to I felt like my money actually went toward more than manicured lawns and grumpy security guards.

Beautiful campground with friendly staff! Cabin bed was comfy, everything was clean, the food was delightful, and live music was fantastic! So many things for kids and families to do here. Great location near the beach. Highly recommend this camping experience! 10/10!

We did not realize all that the KOA had to offer and will likely return with our children and some friends. With as many people there were it was quite and peaceful in our area. It was extremely clean as well.

We've only stayed at around 20 KOAs yet, BUT this one is by far the best!!!! Great location, property, facility, camp store, amenities, etc.. However, we usually try and remember KOA staff members that stand out, and unfortunately we can't identify one.....because they were all EXCEPTIONAL! We didn't want to leave, we will come back soon, and thank each and every KOA staff member.

We took our 4 year old granddaughter for 4 days and had such a great time! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were clean, and there were tons of activities for kids. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but you definitely get what you paid for. We already have reservations for our return.

Everything was perfect except the beds. My wife , Kidd and I thought the beds need to have new wood planks they bow in the middle. Other then that perfect stay!

Lots of fun for kids and adults of all ages! We really appreciated the line up on events each day, how safe the campground is, and the opportunity to get away from it all without ever being too far from “it all”! Thanks for a great Spring Break!

Birdie (our cat) had an amazing stay in the new cabin! So did her people, too! She enjoyed strolls through the campground early in the morning and watching the campfire and all the pets and people that strolled by the cabin.Thank you so much for allowing us to have this experience (she is our family) and we will be back to meet again up again next spring. ♥�� Have a happy, fun summer! �

We enjoyed 3 good sites next to each other and it was easy to get to the walkways, the shop and dog park. The staff were very friendly and the park is kept clean and welcoming.

With >10 stays here- the staff just keeps getting more and more wonderful! When our boys were little there were endless activities to keep them busy- now that they are teens and one even 18, there is still so much to do (bikes, basketball, volleyball, swim etc.). We also go to the state beach down the road and it is truly magical at sunset. Seascape Village up the road has any extras you need.

This is the best KOA we've stay with. The staff is awesome; the camp is well maintained; our kids are beyond safe playing on the campus. Thank you to everyone involved with keeping KOA Santa Cruz so "come back-able!" Only wish we have is that it was a less expensive. We'd be back more often!!

Amazing stay. The most comfortable cabin ive slept in. Everything is clean and well kept. Its our first time staying in a KOA and im glad I chose this location. We love it so much we're already booked for next year.

Staff is very friendly and outgoing. Sites are well maintained and clean. Lots of amenities and activities for the kids. The store is well stocked and convenient. Great place for novice campers.

We stayed for 4 nights. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time. We were a little surprised to see so many bicycle, scooter and electric bicycles and scooters zipping through the park so fast and without wearing helmets.

1. The sofa bed was HORRIBLE - it made SUPER loud noise. None of us can tolerate sleeping on it so we have 6 people sleep in the two small bedrooms. 2. Riding on the roads is unsafe at all since there are vehicles running there. 3. We arrived on time but missed the baby egg hunt (it started earlier). I asked the staff who handled it and she was like "I can't do anything". All other staff is grea

Loved our stay! Amazing, attentive, and friendly staff always on their game, keeping the entire property clean, operational, and welcoming. Fantastic kids and family spaces and activities. Bathrooms always in good order, showers hot and good pressure, and WiFi was the strongest we’ve experienced at an RV resort. Quiet and peaceful location, with easy access to Monterey/Santa Cruz area.

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together. This is exactly the kind of campground that makes those experiences enjoyable for everyone—including the parents! A big thank-you to the team for creating such a welcoming environment.
