We’re local and love staying at this KOA for a quick getaway. This time, we ended up at site 37, which was a bit cramped compared to others we’ve had before. Unfortunately, on our last night, both neighboring sites were blasting country music so loudly that we had to put out our fire and retreat into our trailer just to get some peace. We ended up leaving early, which was disappointing.

We had a wonder Halloween stay! Loved all the special events that were offered. The staff was really friendly. There are a couple things that I would love to see changed. I'm not a fan of baby animals being 'adopted' at the KOA. I saw a couple of kittens that were not being cared for in a safe or humane way & that was troubling. I would also l love for the jump pad closing time to be enforced, Thx

The campgrounds are very well kept. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the Halloween festivities, costumes and decorated camp sites. We especially took pleasure in watching all the kids playing outdoors .

Fantastic, the staff is very helpful and courteous. The sites are so clean. We have been staying here for a few years and have noticed improvements. We love October camping. Thank you for the well trained staff who smile and are pleasant, clean restrooms and showers. Great pool and hot tub. See you next October

Omg this has to be the best koa to stay at during the month of October….we definitely underestimated the activities and loved every minute of it

My favorite KOA yet. Lots of fun kid stuff, but I was tucked up on the #27 spot with privacy and nice access to bathrooms. Tie Dye station�ϸ

I was bummed that more playground equipment was broken. Nothing has been fixed for a few years now. I also didn’t love all the golf carts there. We saw 2 different people get hurt because they were hit by a private golf cart. Not good.

I been coming to this KOA for years. Enjoy spending our vacation here. My only complaint is the restrooms by Glamping Cabins weren’t cleaned properly. Urinals and toilets were disgusting. Informed staff a number of times. Thank were only stocked.

Was disappointed that the Sand Shack, or any type of event, wasn't open during our stay during the week..apparently just the weekend? We weren't communicated that this was the case upon booking or at check in. Had a wonderful time otherwise, nice campground.

we really enjoy the KOA team and activities associated with Halloween during the month of October. Unfortunately, the price of campsites is so high, it's not affordable for many who would like to have this great experience.

We were WOWed by your campground. You've really thought of everything! It's perfect for anyone wanting to camp. I love that there are so many activities for young families. My kids are teenagers now so we didn't really need all the extra stuff but I wish I knew about this place when they were younger because they would have loved it!

We go every year at this time and it’s always fun. It’s become tradition! We really loved the pool party and bubble party last year. This year there was a small carnival and that was fun but previous years was really cool! I hope they bring back the bubbles and glow in the dark pool party!

The facility is great. Perfect for families. Activities were plentiful and fun. Halloween activities were an absolute treat. Only thing missing is a full coffee shop. It's the only thing you have to the leave the grounds for.

We brought our own tent. The site we were assigned (#8) had a broken bear box, which we were unable to open. We ended up storing our food in our car. I informed a maintenance employee about it, and she indicated that she was aware of the box, stating that this was the only box with issues. I am unsure why we were assigned a site with a broken box when other sites were available during our stay.

site is overall very clean and attentive employees. One of the mens shower stalls had a clogged drain and was not pleasant.

We love Santa Cruz KOA!!!! The staff is friendly and hard working to keep the KOA beautiful. My grandkids love to come The beach is within biking, the pool and play ground keeps them entertained for days. Best place to stay in Monterey for families and those seeking a peaceful retreat. Very nice heated pool and spa area. Close to a State Park to access the beach by car. Plenty of activities for the kids to play. Sites are clean and’s spacious. Definitely worth a visit any time of the year.

Everything very clean and as expected of KOA quality. I was a little shocked at the need for a wristband? No idea why we needed that. Also was put in an area of long term employees stay places which was then quite active with cars and motorcycles etc. not really a great relaxing stay but nothing terrible happened either.

What a great weekend! We were actually disappointed not to have the Halloween goings on on the last weekend in September like last year - but really enjoyed the time. The park staff is amazing!

Our first time coming and it’s our new favorite! The staff are so helpful and nice and keep the campground safe and clean. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
