Stayed at a deluxe cabin and it was perfect for our family. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There’s a lot of things to do. Will stay here again.

What a wonderful gem!! We live in Monterey and wanted to get the RV out. This place was a short drive from home and is great! We dont have kids, but what a wonderful place for families. Lots of activities, very clean, huge store, friendly staff and the malasadas . . . .so yummy!! What an unexpected treat!

Well maintained campgrounds. Friendly staff. Nice pool and spa. Recommend that maintenance staff regularly clean out spider webs (and spiders!) from ceilings in showers and restrooms. I encountered a large spider (maybe black widow?) inside my site electrical hookup when hooking up after dark.

We stayed during the week so it was fairly quiet and not many campers. The campsite was very clean and the people working there were very friendly. We walked the railroad tracks to Manresa beach which was a nice 2 mile walk. The next day we took a drive to Monterey for the day. We plan on returning again in the near future and will be recommending to our RV group.

Cabin was clean, having a grill was nice. Quiet clean campground. Well stocked store. Walk to Manresa beach on the train tracks for a sunset bonfire! Caring staff. Heated pool and hot tub.

Everything was great as usual! A little confusion on music time on the 28th. Do we receive special rates when we book early? I receive emails suggesting lower rates but they don’t seem to apply when I book a year in advance. Thanks.

Was tricky to find in the dark on our route in …but good reception and assistance on arrival. The entrance path / area near to the ladies washrooms and showers very muddy and slippery after some drainage construction work. On of the shower handles broken and our electric hook up a bit dangerous ( but this was fixed quickly). Overall a well organised and family friendly site.

This is a great place to stay. It is a very well run KOA and the staf are very friendly. This was our first trip with our new travel trailer and this worked perfectly

The road to the park is not great, but the park itself is amazing large playground for little ones clean sites huge variety of places and sites heated pool and everyone that works There is fantastic super friendly smiles on their faces and you can tell they take pride in their job And campground. Definitely looking to come back again all the way from Oregon.

Staff very friendly! Loved the text messages every morning about the activities for the day. Very family oriented! Loved all the amenities. Best and biggest I’ve stayed at. Perfect location too. I will be back!

We love staying at Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA! Everything is so clean and well kept! Everyone here is helpful and kind! Great amenities and close to the beach!

This was our first time at a KOA and it was not what we expected. There were so many RV's and it was very crowded. The cabins were tiny and very little room to move outisde of them. The pool was full of unattended teenagers and it was not a great experience for us compared to regular campgrounds

Clean camp, great kid activities and friendly staff. This is one of the best KOAs we have been. We had a multiple family member reunion, utilizing an RV site and 3 cabins. The only complaint was that some family members could not check in, nor access the place until 4pm. Kendall was very polite and explained the rules and occupancy/liability issues.

Best KOA ever! The bounce pillow! Fun train — so fun to see it go by with smiling campers! The foods and special events were added fun. And our cabin was a dream. Better than some hotels Weaver stayed in.

Site was ready when we arrived; we paid to check in early. There were a few issues with the site but Sara but it right and then some. I very much appreciate what she did for us! I was told that you're basically allowed 1/2 hour leeway to check in early. Why not make it 1 hour or more which seems more reasonable. This was 3rd year in a row a group of us spent Thanksgiving; will be back next year.

They do an incredible job of keeping campers of all ages active, engaged with unique activities and wanting to come back again and again. We love it! Sand Shack for life!

Third stay here at KOA Santa Cruz and every visit has been a great time! I love how dog friendly the campground is and the staff is very friendly. Walking down the train tracks for a beach day with my dog is the best!

Our stay was so amazing that we immediately booked our next visit, signed up as rewards members, and will be buying a trailer just so we can enjoy more KOA parks. The staff are friendly and people/service-focused! The grounds were impeccably manicured. There was a sense of pride and "family" among staff. The California Kid is an amazing talent!! One complaint - the showers were a bit dirty.

First time to tent, Kamp at Santa Cruz KOA. The pre-communication for reservations and understanding what was provided was exceptional. On site, it was amazing to see how well the grounds were kept, and all the opportunities for Community. We will definitely go back.

We've stayed in many KOAs in CA and OR. Monterey KOA is one of my favorites. We've tent camped, brought our 28' trailer, our Class B, and have rented cabins. With the exception of Astoria, most KOAs are clean. Wearing a wristband is new and irritated my skin. I had a formal event to attend and cut it off. Also, your staff checking in could be a little more friendly. SMILE more.

We love this place. 4 families for Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful time. As usual, the kids had the best time ever!

Nice place to camp. Lots of kids focused activities. The showers were not cleaned often enough and was missing some shelves in some. Close to 2 state beaches if you want to leave the campground and explore. Monterey and Santa Cruz are short drives.

Always a great place to celebrate our annual Memorial Day weekend with grandkids. There are plenty of activities for kids. If you just want to get away for a weekend or a week its a campground I will continue to go to.

Rooms? They have cabins here. And campgrounds for RVs and tents. Everything is clean and well- maintained. Service? They didn't wait on me, but they sure know how to provide a great family environment! Train rides for kids, activities, heated swimming pool, playgrounds, jumping pillows!! They do specials on the weekends for meals, but we didn't take advantage of that. Location? Closer to Santa Cruz than Monterey, but it's the bike riding accessibility that mattered most to me. Nice country road by the campground, leads into towns either direction. Took the Pacific Coast bike trail in two directions on two different days. Very nice!( I had to get used to California drivers and designated bike paths, though.) Lots of places to ride a bike from this KOA!! I'd come back to California from Pennsylvania just to stay here again. 😊
