The activities for "field day" were very disappointing. I would have taken my kids to a different 4th of July celebration in town had I known that the KOA field day was going to be so bad and such a waste of time. It was a big waste.

My concern was the propane was left on. Smelled propane. Also heater in cabin left on I do believe very dangerous My daughter turned off burner. Also 4 is too late for check in. Should be 2. Check out 11 Gives the help 3 hours to clean. Need be hire more staff. All in all we have been coming to KOA for 35 years. Nicely equipped and clean. Great activities for family. Staff very nice. There were activities for the kids and events planned by the KOA throughout our stay. However, there were a few issues with our deluxe cabin. When we arrived, our cabin smelled of cigarettes. The front, outdoor, power outlet used for grilling and charging our e-bikes did not work and a sunk was living under our cabin which resulted in our dog being sprayed.

We have stayed many times, but unfortunately, this time there were many issues. The staff was great and very friendly, but the bathrooms were not maintained. We were there for five days and the showers were not cleaned during our stay. We also stayed in a cabin that has a skunk problem and the grounds were not maintained so they were covered in Foxtail’s. We ended up at the ER with our dog.

Lots of activities to keep us busy and your greeting staff and store personnel were friendly, outgoing and helpful. We would like to let you know that while we appreciate the yard maintenance, you might want to consider raking up excessive foxtails. Sadly, my little yorkie was sniffing around in fresh cut week area and she got a foxtail lodged in her nose. Had to rush to MedVet in Campbell 2x.

This was a horrible stay, extremely disappointed with the money we spent and what our stay was like. There weee skunks living under our cabin that kept us up all night! Skunks! There were fox tails everywhere outside our cabin that even sent our friend’s dog to the vet during the stay! The showers were disgusting and our cabin was full of cob webs and had a moldy mattress. Waste of $

From the moment we pulled up to the guard gate every member of the KOA team was simply joyful and welcoming. What a wonderful experience. The KOA was very clean and well run. Lot's of fun activities. The restrooms could be a bit better, but I that was not a big deal. We look forward to booking again!

Lots of activities and they made Fourth of July weekend fun. The men’s bathrooms could be cleaned more often. More frequent cleaning especially during high volume weekends.

I enjoyed my stay and there were lots of play areas for the kids, wood and ice deliveries to the campsites was nice. We were disappointed that our site did not have a hook up for sewage. For almost $200 a night, I personally believe each site should be a full hook up. When we booked, I think a few extra words stating this was not a full hook up site would have led us to select a different site.

Our stay this time wasn't our best experience. We dealt with loud neighbors until after midnight, saw parents allowing children to light sparklers on the wood chips, and were awakened at 4:00 am by someone digging through the recycling near the restroom. We also noticed a couple of men bagging gravel from the restroom pathway, which seemed odd. Despite that, we'll be back we love the place.

We love spending the weekend at our local KOA. There are so many activities that it makes our weekend easy! The staff are all so nice and friendly.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. We come here often and each time can see the investment back into the campground. Campground is clean and maintained and has a ton of activities for kids!

This is one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed in! Walked to the beach, loads of fun things to do for the kids, fantastic pool and jacuzzi, amazing camp store with late hours and terrific, friendly and helpful staff. lOVED IT!

We rented the deluxe cabin which was nice, but, the interior floors needed to be mopped you could see the dirt as you walked in, the carpet rug had pet hair all over and the outside entry rug also had pet hair all over it! The refrigerator needed to be defrosted and the people who rented it before us left food in the freezer and in the frig,the microwave had a bowl of food in it as well.

Loved all of the amenities and our lodge was fantastic! All of the staff was so helpful and friendly, but a special shout out to Kate and Lucy for making our stay the absolute best it could be.

We had a great time. The location is great. The staff were all super friendly. Our tent cabin was nice but there was no space for our car. The people across from us in an rv spot were blasting music so unbelievably loud it was upsetting that no staff were around to notice and say something so I had to call security. The kids crafts were cute but then charging 5$ for them to make a little bracelet?

Cabin 181 smelled bad in the cabin. Thought it was the cabin but the camper rv next to us smelled like sewage so it made our cabin smell and every time we passed the side of the cabin in between the camper it smelled bad. Our other family members said it smelled bad too. Also the shower was super hard to adjust from very hot to very cold. My kids had a hard time making it work

Soooo much fun! Tons of activities for the kids! The whole team was wonderful! Very friendly, helpful and kind. They made us feel like they were truly excited about having us stay with them.. so sweet! From the bike rentals, great playground, jumping mats, complimentary s’mores by the fire pit to the pool party with ice cream cart..all so wonderful! It was a perfect getaway for the whole family

Best KOA we’ve stayed at to date. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The place was clean, big and had so much to do. I highly recommend making this a resort.

YOUR STAFF IS THE BEST EVER. EVERYONE WE SPOKE WITH WAS VERY HELPFUL AND HAPPY TO HELP WITH ANYTHING WE ASKED. THE FACILITIES ARE VERY GOOD. OUR STAY WAS EXCELLENT AND WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT ANYTHING. ONLY COMPLIMENTS.

The showers could use a major clean up and up-grade. They were not very clean considering we had empty cabins on either side of us. There was no toilet paper in one stall. Would def want to avoid it when at full occupancy

Our site wasn't level enough for our jacks to get us level, changing sites to a longer site was easy without drama. The amenities and activities for our grandchildren were wonderful and fun. The Play areas were never cleaned (Trash) or swept (sand) our entire 5 day stay. Speeding electric bikes driven by unruly children is an accident/lawsuit waiting to happen. Add bike racks. Stellar staff �

Had 7nights here during June. Was able to explore Santa Cruz and Monterey bay with ease. Koa was very clean and people that worked there were super nice and friendly. Our neighbors on the other hand were not very quiet. The 10pm quiet time doesn’t really apply here. As there is no enforcement driving around in the evening like other campgrounds. They do however give you a number to call.

I loved it so much I actually set up an account to join the KOA Team! It was great! I cannot say enough nice things about it! So many unique activities for kids and adults, everything was clean and so comfy. The ocean was close, the staff was amazing!! Thank you, we will definitely be back!!

Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed all of the convenient amenities. Lack of a cafe/restaurant during the week was a big downside. Price of firewood and ice was astronomical compared to other KOAs we have visited. Very enjoyable stay overall.

Great KOA. We spent 4 nights in one of the patio sites. Plenty of space, grounds are super clean and all the staff are extremely friendly. Seems like all the staff are constantly working to keep the place clean and well taken care of. 5 star rating.

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together.
