We booked tent camping and it was a great experience. The campsite was exactly how it was described online. It was easy to access, spacious, and quiet. What I liked the most is the convenience of it all, the property had everything you need to have a fund experience....its like a camping resort! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back!

Very safe, clean, and family friendly. Lots to do to keep the kids busy! It felt like a summer camp for families. Everyone we met was kind and friendly. We all loved our time there (Tues- Fri) and would definitely go back again.

We had a fantastic stay in a deluxe cabin! The campground was spotless and beautifully maintained. The staff was exceptional, always smiling, saying hello, and genuinely happy to help. They quickly replaced our uncomfortable mattress the first night with no hassle. We stayed with a large group, and our teenagers had a blast. We can’t wait to come back!

All the workers were friendly, flexible and had impeccable service. Front office staff energy was welcoming and so helpful. I loved the text message updates regarding activities and food. My kids absolutely loved the entire park and all the amenities. We look forward to returning again!

We had cabin dc234, tv in bedroom would not turn off Heater/ac doesn’t work Bedroom was totally nosiey 2! Spoons 1 steak knife

It was a great experience as always, we have stayed here several times. It never disappoints our grandchildren they love the pillows and playground.

My family have been coming here for 30 years. Always had a great time. Today when I checked out, I moved my car to the overflow parking lot to go retrieve my family. I had a staff member rudely tell me to "make it quick" after i told him I had just checked out. This even though I checked out 15 minutes before 11. I would recommend better training for staff in there interactions with customers.

Amazing balance of wildlife and resort experience. There are many built in games to walk around and enjoy. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect for the weather. Loved the pizza and malasada's from the cafe. There were activities for kids to participate in during most days and we could walk to the beach from the campground. The store had lots of cute things and the grounds were really well done

We love coming here. It was our first time renting the cabin with just beds. We were disappointed that every night the spiders would come out of the bed frames on the bunk beds. My kids didn’t want to sleep because of it. I woke up the last morning and reached for my water on the table next to my bed and a HUGE spider was there. Yikes! We came home and found them in our blankets.

t's an okay experience for a one night stay. Disappointed with the cleanliness. Found a dirty cup with hardened/gooey oatmeal in the cupboard mixed with all the clean ones and a big roach under the table. Stayed in cabin #240.

We enjoyed our stay at Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay. We actually didn't realized we had booked here until we arrived as we had always booked at Coastanoa. So when we arrived we thought we were in the wrong place. However we enjoyed the amenities of the heated pool and close proximity of the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Many activities for the kids and a great place for our dogs.

We always enjoy our stay at Santa Cruz KOA. Nicely kept grounds and friendly staff. The price is very high though. I don’t really see the justification for the price point.

This was our 3rd year coming back. So much fun for the kids. Staff were awesome as usual. The pool and hot tub are our favorites. Place was full over the 4th of July and still felt safe and comfortable. This is one of our top 3 camp grounds in CA. Every year gets better! Big thanks to KOA..

Absolutely amazing campground. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The campground was well maintained and very clean. This is definitely one of our top 3 KOA's for families we have been to.

It really has so much stuff to keep the kiddos busy. We have a 16 and 6 year old so it was wonderful that the kids could go and do all the kid things together and moms could relax. We will definitely be back for another vacation. I also have to mention this place has the very best employees. Every single person we came in contact with was exceptional, friendly, and very kind. Thank you!♥��

We just completed a road trip with four different campground stays, Santa Cruz/Monterey KOA was by far our favorite. The team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the amenities were awesome. We will be back!

As always, my grandchildren and I enjoyed our stay very much. I really wish i could afford to stay more often … perhaps I should use the membership offer and earn free nights and save 10% on my total amount.

Cute campground, family oriented, lots of amenities, cafe on site, heated pool and hot tub, 1 mile walk to beach. Stayed in a little camping cabin was able to rent linens instead of packing them. Loved having a night host overnight, loved the activities for kids. All staff helpful and knowledgeable they visibly love doing their jobs and care for one another.

This is our 3rd year in a row celebrating 4th of July here with our group and we will be back next year! We absolutely love it. The staff is so friendly and helpful and they provide a great time for our kids!

We stayed in a two bedroom rustic cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. Cold outside, cozy inside. The kids loved all the activities. Very clean bathrooms/shower areas.

Our stay was very enjoyable as in the past several years. I thing the employees were outstanding. Each and everyone was super friendly and helpful when needed. There was lots of things for the younger ones to enjoy and ours really did! Only issue I experienced was the fact that cable for tv's were cut off. That wouldn't have been too bad if the WiFi was good but that was not the case at all!

We really love the area and the sites, but the campground is incredibly noisy. Tons of kids on bikes without helmets, loud music from speakers all evening, etc. The shower area needs more frequent cleanings and a garbage can inside the facility. We want to love this place, but it just isn’t relaxing.

We had a wonderful time on our stay at the koa. Everyone who works here is always happy to help And very friendly. We are grateful for all the fun that was provided to us for our July 4th stay. The concert was fantastic! We have been coming for years and plan to come for many more. Already on the books for next year.

We absolutely love our local KOA. The staff are all very friendly, especially the manager Andy. There are so many fun activities that our toddler is never bored. We will be back soon!

THIS is how you do family camping! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at the Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay KOA during our family trip down the California coast, and what a wonderful experience! Traveling with kids and a large RV can be an adventure all on its own, so finding a campground that genuinely makes families feel welcome is worth its weight in gold. From the friendly communication to the fun, family-oriented atmosphere, this KOA reminded us exactly why we love traveling this way. The Halloween activities were such a fun addition to our trip, and we appreciated the thoughtful text communication that helped us feel informed and welcome. What really makes a campground special isn't just the location or amenities. It's the people, the atmosphere, and those little details that turn an ordinary overnight stay into a family memory. We travel because we want our kids to experience new places, have adventures, and make memories together. This is exactly the kind of campground that makes those experiences enjoyable for everyone—including the parents! A big thank-you to the team for creating such a welcoming environment.
