This is a city campground, so it is very active and kid-friendly. When you visit this campground on Sandusky Bay, you will enjoy easy access to Cedar Point, Lake Erie and the surrounding town of Sandusky. With plenty to do at the campground and nearby, you can enjoy a relaxing, fun vacation in Northern Ohio.
Amenities
This campground features offerings to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. You can benefit from updated bathrooms, 30/50-amp service and 100-foot RV Sites. You can also buy propane and firewood if you run out, and use spaces like the Kamping Kitchen and pavilion during your stay. This campground is also pet-friendly, so bring your dog and let them play in the KampK9® dog park area. The campground also offers FREE Wi-Fi (Limited for email and info search or Facebook).

Recreational Activities

The KOA staff will go above and beyond to ensure your camping experience exceeds your wildest expectations. Not only is this a family-run campground, but it's very family-friendly. Additionally, this campground is very active, with a lot of campers each week. If you are looking for something to do, enjoy a family movie night, not to mention a delicious breakfast every morning, or grab a bite to eat later in the day. Stop by "Pete's Pizzeria" in the office and grab some ice cream or a meal. Visit to see what's cooking! If you want to have some fun away from the campground, this campground is near Cedar Point and Sports Force. It's the closest available campground to these attractions. You can also spend a day visiting museums and monuments, browsing local shops, or taking a boat trip to one of the islands in Lake Erie.
Ways to Stay at Sandusky /Bayshore
This Kampgrounds of America Location has ways to stay that suit every camper. If you want a place to park your recreational vehicle (RV), choose from Deluxe Back-In or Pull-Thru Sites with full hookups. For those bringing a tent, our Sandusky / Bayshore KOA has Deluxe Water and Electric Tent Sites. Cabins are the most popular way to stay at this campground. Some cabins have a full bath and shower with a full or partial kitchen. Others give a more rustic camping experience without these amenities. You can also select a site with a KOA Patio® so that you have a comfortable place to relax outside. You can choose from many cabin types, including:

If you arrive after hours, you can use the late-night registration located right where you enter the campground. Look for the night registration sign or let the security staff help you during your late-night arrival.
