Pancake Breakfast - Pizzeria - The Big Squeeze

From Memorial Day to Labor Day we have our pancake breakfast everyday from 8am to 11am. Come on down to the office in the morning for some fresh hot coffee and some delicious breakfast served with love and always hits the spot. You can expect pancakes, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and more.

Stop by for some lunch, or maybe a snack, or when the summer gets a little hot make sure to get some ice cream at Pete's Treats. Grab a whole pizza pie while you're there - enjoy the classics, like pepperoni or cheese, or build your own by choosing from our topping selection.

During the weekend, stop by The Big Squeeze, located out by the bay - here you can get some good snack food, like walking tacos, mini fair donuts, fresh lemon aid, chili dogs and more. Enjoy a bit to eat with a bay view.

Things to know about our Campground

We are not your average KOA! We have been a family-owned campground for over 50 years. We joined the KOA family in 2008 and have been loving it ever since. Our environment is similar to a city-type campground. Our goal is to make your camping experience the best we can. We cater to a lot of families and people from all over the world going to Cedar Point, crossing the country, or just visiting Lake Erie. Sandusky/Bayshore KOA Holiday is a very large campground with many amenities and fun recreation for all ages.

* We do have a train that runs off property and can be very annoying if you are not used to a train close by. We do apologize but we do not have control over the train schedule*
* We are a city park style campground, our campers like to have fun and enjoy there time away from home. If you are looking for a quiet, rural campground, we may not meet those expectations*
*Quiet time is 11pm to 8am - we have a very active and kid-friendly park*

KOA Pet Policy / Sandusky Bayshore KOA Holiday Pet Policy

KOA Pet Policy
Some visitors enjoy sharing the pleasures of camping with their dogs or cats. To ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, KOA has established some guidelines.
Before You Go:
Call ahead. Check with the campground about its specific pet policies. Some don't allow pets in Kamping Kabins, for example, or may have limited pet units. Others don't accept particular breeds that insurance providers have identified as having a history of aggression.
Bring your helper. Service dogs are welcomed at all KOA Kampgrounds. (Leash and aggressive behavior rules apply.) Papers are not permitted for service animals, but our fines and rules do apply.
When You Arrive:
Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners.
Bring the leash. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners' vehicles or rental units. Do not leave a tethered dog unattended.
Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations.
Sandusky Bayshore KOA Add on Pet Policy
We ask that any guest bringing pets to stay with them during the duration of their stay. You must have vaccination records and up to date tags on all their pets. If an altercation of aggression should occur, you will need to provide these documents to Sandusky KOA and the other parties involved in the altercation if needed. We also ask that you follow our leash law, KOA pet policy and our own (Sandusky Bayshore KOA Holiday pet policy) always insist that your dog is on a leash, pets are not allowed to walk around free of a leash or tethered to your site unattended NO EXCEPTIONS! If you cannot follow our policy, we have the right to ask you to no longer bring your pet or have the grounds to remove you from our property.
We do not allow pets in our tenting area due to prior guest leaving their pets un attended all day while out at Cedar Point or exploring the islands. We only allow campers to have pets if they have an RV or some type of motorhome so they can keep their pets indoors incase of heat or weather.

WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN ANY OF OUR LODGING. IF YOU DECIDE TO GO AGENTS OUR POLICY YOU WILL BE FINED $100 OR MORE. So please be honest and follow our Policy

Thank You,
Alex & Ashlee GM/Hosts
