Located 1 mile east of Cedar Point Drive on U.S. Route 6 (Cleveland Road). PLEASE READ BELOW FOR THE BEST ROUTE.
Coming on the Ohio turnpike or from the west, Route 2: exit onto Route 250 North (Sandusky). Make a right on Perkins Ave(1mile) Turn left on to Remington Ave (1/2 mile) Turn Right onto Cleveland Rd/Route 6 (700yards) Turn left onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT) ~ATTENTION~ THIS WAY TAKES YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE TOWN OF SANDUSKY, THIS CAN BE VERY CONFUSING....BELOW IS THE BEST ROUTE TO GET TO OUR CAMPGROUND
Coming from the east on Route 2: exit at Rye Beach Road. Make a left onto Route 6/Cleveland Rd. Follow Route 6 west for about 4.5 miles. We are located on the right-hand side of Route 6, just past Kasper Buick car lot. Turn Right onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT!!!). THIS IS THE BEST ROUTE TO AVOID TRAFFIC AND CITY TRAFFIC LIGHTS.

When you visit the Sandusky Bay area, you'll be amazed at how many different kinds of fish are here. You can cast your line to catch smallmouth bass, especially along the rocky shorelines. The best strategy for catching these fish is to go closer to shore during the spring and fall months and head offshore during the summer.
If you're out fishing on the Sandusky Bay waters, you have a pretty good chance of catching Walleye. You'll have to go offshore to find them in the summer months, but you should be able to catch them a little closer to shore in the spring and fall.
