Coming on the Ohio turnpike or from the west, Route 2: exit onto Route 250 North (Sandusky). Make a right on Perkins Ave(1mile) Turn left on to Remington Ave (1/2 mile) Turn Right onto Cleveland Rd/Route 6 (700yards) Turn left onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT) ~ATTENTION~ THIS WAY TAKES YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE TOWN OF SANDUSKY, THIS CAN BE VERY CONFUSING....BELOW IS THE BEST ROUTE TO GET TO OUR CAMPGROUND
Coming from the east on Route 2: exit at Rye Beach Road. Make a left onto Route 6/Cleveland Rd. Follow Route 6 west for about 4.5 miles. We are located on the right-hand side of Route 6, just past Kasper Buick car lot. Turn Right onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT!!!). THIS IS THE BEST ROUTE TO AVOID TRAFFIC AND CITY TRAFFIC LIGHTS.

All seasonal/long term sites are paved with full hookups 50/30/20amp service, 25ft to 65ft pads, shade/trees, water & sewer, trash pick up, store/camping discounts and more. We are the closets KOA Campground to Cedar Point & Sports Force, only 3miles to down town historical Sandusky, fairy to the islands. Traffic can get pretty crazy during the summer season so our location is perfect to save time going from one adventure to the next.
We have an exciting activities department. During your stay, you can participate in weekend activities like foam parties, ceramics, tie dye, family movie night, potlucks and more. We have pedal cart, golf cart, wacky rydable rentals, gem mine, basketball court, pickleball court, 2 heated pools, 2 jump pillows, playground, nature trail. Looking for even more? Hit the Sandusky Bay on one of our kayak rentals or bring your own. Launch right from our bay and take a paddle down the Sandusky Bay. Perfect for bird lovers. You can also take in the beauty of the lake with a walk to the bay view to enjoy the therapeutic wonders this campground offers.
