Nice and large campground. I don’t recommend staying next to the kids park unless you like listening to screaming kids at 8am. Cabins are nice and well kept. Bathrooms were clean. I enjoy a more off the beaten path deeper in the woods campground so I would come back for a quick trip but nothing longer than 2 nights.

Last year we went to the Petaluma KOA and had the best time! There were so many activities like hay rides, tie dye, scavenger hunts. This year we went to Petaluma at the same exact time and there were 0 activities planned. The people kept saying it was "off season" which was a huge disappointment and very frustrating. We also didn't pay "off season" price for the weekend. I paid over $1000!

We come here every year and always plan to come back. We arrive on Saturday and we're sad to miss the activities that are over before check in.

Very clean well kept campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. My only complaint is they won't provide washcloths.

Liked the cabin. Clean bathrooms. Fun events for kids. Nice store! Tie dye event was very Un-organized and took 2 hours and a lot of frustrated people. Steve was very patient and great with the kids and we love how our shirt turned out!

Great time staying at Petaluma KOA. I would have rated the KOA as a 5 star except the bunks in cabin N181 were not made up and the sheets were not fitted. It was very difficult to make these beds given the walls on 3+ sides.

The fire pit area had a fowl smell around it. And the television wouldn’t get any picture on it. Other than that we had a good time.

The staff (all of them!) were so great and so friendly. It really stood out. Everything was very clean. Even though it was completely packed, everyone actually got quiet at 10p.m. The pool was great- big and really nice to have. We had a great time!

This was our 4th stay and we were just as happy/satisfied as our first adventure to your campground. The amenities are fabulous and Mr Steve is very attentive and brings about a loving atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere else we’ve ever travelled. We come for the kids to find independence, and return because we can’t wait to see Steve again. Happy Halloween!

The grounds are beautiful. Very peaceful and well taken of. The cabin we stayed in needs attention. The couch was stained so no one wanted to sit on it, and the floors were warped throughout. It felt like we were walking on little hills, especially in the bathroom. Also, the power went out on our last night for quite a while, and no one came by to check our site, or any surrounding sites.

The is my 7 year old’s favorite camp spot because of the playground a petting zoo and swimming pool. We come a few times a year. The cabins are a great deal. Sonoma County is beautiful! The staff is always terrific!

Our family time was awesome! I just think the place need more activities for toddlers and the KOA don’t offer blankets into small cabins, so we didn’t expect cold weather at night and then we got freezing all night long. My kid got sick.

Our family has been stayed in KOA few times, each time we stay here is always great. However this time, front desk worker was not listening us and she overcharged. We explained but she did not listen and she just charged. otherwise everything was so great. Thank you.

Staff was very nice and accommodating but could not resolve the very loud animal living and scratching in our walls. It kept us up and was very stressful. They were booked and couldn’t move us. Staff checked out cabin but I told them they needed pest control. We originally were only offered a 10% discount on each night which wasn’t enough in my opinion. Refund was eventually given for a night

We enjoyed our stay however the cabin smelled of sewage the entire weekend. I am not sure if the toilet needed tending to since the cabin is a manufactured tiny home however, we were nauseous with every passing moment we stayed indoors. Nights were tough.

Great stay although I wish we had known about the Halloween dress up bit. Not sure how we missed that and we could have done without the little electric cars zipping around the campground day and night.

We rented one of the small cabins for 2 nights. The cabin was very cozy with a comfortable bed, bathroom and a few kitchen items. The campground was well maintained and very large with many amenities. The location is convenient to many wine country stops and 1-2 hours from SFO, depending upon traffic.

Good stay. The soap dispensers were constantly empty by the white tent. A closer eye should be kept on that. Additionally there has to be a way of removing or putting a maximum on your site for store purchases. I understand thats its a business move but if KOA caters to families, it’s unrealistic for kids to limit themselves. As a parent its very frustrating.

We were up in cowboy cabin up on the hill. Obviously, this is closer to the surrounding farms, but the flies were REALLY bad this time - so much so that we couldn't eat our meals there after Saturday morning. There were also a ton of earwigs on the cabin porch. I just say this because traps can be set for both of these to make a stay better. Otherwise, we had a blast and will be coming back!

The stay is amazing. Clean, organized, supervised. So much to do for kids. It’s frustrating that it costs an extra $30 to stay in a specific cabin/kabin. If the spaces are available and if I’m already paying the asking rate for a specific level of kabin, why have each party pay $30 just to be next to one another.

The cabin we rented was clean and fairly roomy, with surprisingly comfortable beds and a great porch. The wifi was a bit weak and unpredictable, but I did come just to around and look at a screen anyway. I was also impressed by the helpfulness of the staff and the fact that quiet hours seemed to be enforced. One complaint: I wasn't clear on where to find a water spigot that I was allowed to use.

We love everything about this KOA location. One change I would like to see is that an adult be required for kids to put anything from the store on the tab. OR cap purchases. My kids were buying bags of rocks for themselves and their friends on my tab.

We loved this KOA! Beautiful, so many amenities, great staff. We stayed in M180, our daughter stayed in cabin 277. First night was wonderful. Second night was unbelievably loud. Kids riding bikes through our site, even after I asked several times please not to. Yelling and bike riding till 11:30 pm. No parental supervision. Someone should be patrolling and enforcing quiet times. Unfortunate.

Our visit was lovely, as usual. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The services for propane refill were fast. The facilities were clean. However, this year the WiFi did not work in our lodge. Later, we found out WiFi wasn't working in multiple rooms in our section.

Wir haben mit unserem Wohnmobil die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes dort verbracht. Es war phantastisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Saubere und schöne Badezimmer. Toller Service, vor allem beim Full Hook Up und beim Liefern des Feuerholzes. Auch im Office waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz liefert viel Ruhe und Erholung, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool sind super. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Weide waren wirklich toll. Danke für alles.
