Love this place however this stay I was told I could take my cannabis in my trailer .I smoke twice a day morning and night. On the second day I was told I have to leave KOA to take my medicine on the sidewalk I am a senior citizen. I don't understand why I can't smoke my meds in my trailer it is 200 percent legal it is prescribed by my doctor. So I had too leave a day early. [email protected]

A lot of fun activities for kids and families. The pool and deck area was clean and well maintained. A recommendation to provide an adult-only indoor space with board games, puzzles, pool table, and ping pong table for travelers without children. We enjoyed the food and drinks from the cafe, and the price was reasonable. Abundant staff to keep things smoothly running and friendly too.

Very clean and beautiful park. The staff was really nice and helpful. Sites were a little narrow so didn’t really set up outside area except a couple of chairs. My kids loved the jumping pillows and all the activities they have there.

It’s always such a family friendly environment and everyone is always so happy and enjoying their surroundings! This KOA offers so many wonderful activities….the swimming pool is beautiful and spacious! Bike friendly and lots for the kids to do.

This resort is always clean and well maintained. It is also a safe place for families with kids to enjoy a vacation together as there is always plenty of activities for kids to enjoy.

We LOVE KOA San Diego! We live locally, but love coming here so much. We try to come once a month. We noticed the rates went up, but we still will pay that since there are so many activities, you keep the park so nice and we love the pool. Bobbi has done an AMAZING job planning and running all the activites the past year. We are BIG fans!

We had a great time at this KOA and are now planning a return with additional family members. It’s perfect for families with children since there’s much for them to do.

The stay was great, only complaint is that the picnic table was covered in bird feces and was not cleaned prior to our arrival.

Camp sites were clean. The only issue we had was at the pool. It was mid day and pool was busy. A worker added chlorine and the water began to smell and my kids started to say the water was burning. We had to leave.

Normally we love it here. Our campsite was dirty, tons of little trash, ok, maybe it was wind but there was over a dozen beer bottle caps all over our campsite. The restaurant prices were $5+ more than listed on the website, website was dated 2023. Kids activity person kept approaching our kids trying to sell cotton candy after we kept declining. Dog park dusty, needs bark added.

this is the first time after multiple years of staying at koa san diego, this that we stayed at a site that should have been closed to campers or warned in advance. the was bird crap everywhere when we pulled in. Crap was in our hair, our clothes , picnic table, chairs . we couldnt bbq or even have a campfire. it was awful. wish they would have told us. it was miserable.

I made reservations 13 months ago and wanted a particular site. When I got there, they said they do not guarantee requests. Turns out the people who were in our site the week before decided to stay longer and that bumped us. This is the only KOA that I have ever say that that is not honor a request.

Stay was wonderful. The bird poop is pretty awful and makes it hard to hang out outside of the awnings. There were a lot of roaches near campsite. Wish there were more lights around the koa making it easier to navigate at night on bikes. The activities were amazing.

We had been going less frequently as the noise and partying late into the night was rough. This time we saw staffers driving around at 10 and actually asked a few people to quiet down. It worked and the evenings were great again. The activities are really great, and the facilities such as Gaga and basketball are wonderful too. Glad to see the cafe open more, it was hit and miss for a while.

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful pool area, nice patio seating for the cafe. Staff is friendly and helpful. We ended up in a site that didn’t have neighbors on one side so we enjoyed hanging out in the “patio.” Being next to the road and freeway were a little noisy but I just turned up the volume in the radio or tv and tried to ignore it. Looking forward to our next visit.

Foundation inspired by the principle that helping someone else it is an amazing campground with staff. There was lots of activities for the children to do and constantly stay busy and engage. Staff were extremely friendly and organized. My children love the campground and want to go back already.

We love the facilities! Unfortunately, we had some neighbors that were very loud and disrespectful to those around, playing loud music with bad language (f word) and watching the movie Halloween so loud we could hear it even after we had to close windows and doors. It was before quiet hours, but still not respectful of kids and others around who may not have wanted to hear all of that.

Very nice place the pool and kid activities were great. Kids staff were fun. It would be even better if all sites had paved picnic area I would ask for that next time would suit my family better. Also, like the KOA in Joshua tree gas fire pits over smoke ones already there for use in each site. We will be back

Was so impressed with the campground and the people. If i had any opportunities for improvement to recommend, I would say that having the pins connecting each barrel in the barrel train in would make it a little safer. One big bump and the barrels can come loose. We will be back soon!

We have been to the San Diego KOA, since my Daughter was 4, she is now 26! Always a great experience.

Everything was great, and so enjoyable for the family. My only complaint and concern is the golf carts guests are bringing/using. I saw multiple instances of reckless driving, almost hitting kids on bikes because of speeds through an intersection, and speeding in general. The same could be said about the E-bikes, but the golf carts will end up seriously injuring someone due to their size.

I always fill up our gas tanks here. They have great prices and friendly staff. Never actually stayed at their beautiful establishment but I plan to in the future.

I've seen this place for years and watched it grow into a great place for campers, RV'ers, and travelers of all kind. They have plenty of activity for guests. Full size cabins, or tent size cabins. Places you can hook up your trailer and RV, and storage facility too. The staff is great and the fun you have is second to none. So glad my family and I can enjoy this place.

We went to San Diego Metro KOA for the first time in October 2023. We had an amazing time with Bobbi leading the Halloween activities. The bathrooms in the common areas were always clean. We saw Alicia cleaning repeatedly and she always had a smile on her face. Thank you!!!
