Previous stay very pleasant. This visit was nothing like that, too many kids in their bikes, scooters/ electric/motorized trikes all over the park, till late into the night. Yelling was terrible and uncontrolled, parents were to busy drinking and parting to care. Two accidents, a girl bleeding fell off electric bike and a boy fell off going to fast. Hot tub over run by kids. dirty water,

Bad experience. Unacceptable. After being there in person to ensure my date and time and receiving multiple texts and emails assuring me all was taken care of, the KOA staff failed miserably. Communication from the front office relayed the conditions of my stay to the grounds crew about pulling my trailer from storage. To be done by 1pm. NOPE, I had to remind them...3 hours later it got done. SAD

I was not pleased with the facilities; the showers did not function correctly, and the water temperature was lukewarm at best. The water pressure in the bathroom sinks was barely flowing, making it difficult to wash your hands. The BBQ grill at my premier patio site was held together with duct tape and did not work properly.

We love San Diego KOA ! The staff is super. The grounds are very well kept. The location is perfect. And the gift shop never disappoints!!

First time and last time going to this KOA. It should be called for where it really is, National City KOA. 1. The spots were advertised as pull throughs, many are not actually. Too many trees and no place to actually pull through. 2. Crows, so many that all of our things, truck, trailer covered in crap, literally. Truck looked like a chicken coop roost. 3. Cockroaches!! Everywhere!

Clean large sites, fun amenities, lots of planned activities and staff. Few years ago there were the golf pulled train, that was so much fun. Wished it was brought back. Pools were heated and nice. Facilities were clean. Great service by staff.

Lovely campground with shady trees. Only negative was waking up at 5 am to about 50 crows making loud noises. Enjoyed the pool and activities.

Very nice place. However, during the hot months a hot surface warning should be posted on the jumper or it should be closed during the day. My niece received blisters from sitting on the hot rubber surfice.

We enjoyed our stay at the San Diego Metro KOA. We loved the feel of the campgrounds. I like the opportunity for others to camp via tent or cabin. The pool is big and inviting. Love all the trees for shade. Tha camp sites are nice and roomy. Many things for the kids to do.

All of the staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The main negative was the grounds were not super clean.

The deluxe pull-thru site is the best!! We enjoyed every amenities the campground has to offer and will be back again soon!!

This is our second time staying at San Diego KOA and we love it! The staff was very energetic and friendly. My only concern is the number of kids riding e-bikes around the camp site as there were a few times I was almost hit by kids that were not paying attention or on their phones. Other than that, we loved it!

We love the KOA San Diego Metro. We always have a great stay there. This time, our dog got really sick the entire week that we were there. I asked if they treat their grass with chemicals or pesticides, but didn't hear back. The grounds are pristine and spotless. We can't wait to go back. We will have to try to keep our dog off the grass and bathe him.

We witnessed a child & car collide and the ambulance was called. Thankfully the child wasn’t severely injured; however, I do believe something needs to be enforced with children spreading on their e-bikes or regular bikes. I also believe although I understand you need to wear your wrist bands to get in the pool i was asked a couple of times “show me your wrist bands” which just seemed annoyi

From the front off staff Mallory took great care and was super knowledgeable. I also had the pleasure of meeting the events director I am unable to remember name but she has blonde hair;) The events, will keep us coming back for sure! My daughter is special needs and she had a wonderful time. She didn’t want to leave, we are truly thinking of coming back for a month! Teresa Yang

Not sure how to slow down kids on very fast e bikes racing around almost hitting many patrons. We have e-bikes and are respectful of speed limits. Walking my dogs were challenging due to speeds kids were riding

KOA grounds were well kept. Camp site and rest rooms were very clean. The only negative is the use of electric bike went im regulated. People were speeding way above the campground speed limits. Creating a safety hazard. We witness serval close calls.

Joined our kids and grandkids for 4 nites. Our site was just a few spaces away from them in the buddy site which was great! Not sure if y'all planned that but we loved it. Great check in...Jenna was detailed, informative and friendly. So very clean and well maintained with lots of things to keep the grandkids busy when we weren't at the beach.Thank you!

I think we had the best campsite at your park. With that said our “neighbors” were yelling and partying until 10:30 pm for two nights and no one came to tell them anything. I know we could have “reported” them but someone from your park should be monitoring that. Secondly, we have been to your park many times but this week the mosquitoes were worse than I ever remember.

We stay here at least once or twice a year. But the crows are getting out of hand. All of our stuff and our trailer is covered in poop, and they wake us at 0500 every morning. Between that and the mosquitoes it’s getting rough.

The stay was great. The park is well maintained and clean. The store/gift shop is extremely over priced. $5.00 for a small bag of ice ! We went to Food 4 Less and got two larger bags for less than $7.00. Plus several of the other items were very high priced.

Loved everything about your campground, only have one complaint the showers by the pool did not get cleaned at all while we were there until the day we checked out Tuesday the 23rd . We stayed 5 nights and those showers were consistently being used , but not cleaned. Not good, you should consider increasing your shower cleaning schedule. Thanks for listening �

Staff was great and the amenities were great too camp sites are well maintained and spacious. Only have two complaints first the crows and their droppings are horrendous they completely trashed my trailer and the picnic table and everything else in the area and there was an awful smell of sewerage that would come and go with the breeze I think it comes from the dump station .

I would give five stars, however my site was completely covered in bird droppings. The picnic table was covered as well and appeared to not have been washed off in quite sometime. I understand the issue with the birds roosting at night but the site itself was pretty unhealthy.

We had a nice stay and the campground is well kept and we loved the pool! There were kids riding scooters and bikes at high speed everywhere and dangerously. People kept short cutting through our campsite. These aren’t the fault of camp staff, but grown up campers and parents not understanding good manners.

The park was fabulous, all the amenities were very nice! The pool was disappointing, the facility is great but the loud music from all the Bluetooth boxes and amount of people without wristbands was awful so we didn’t want to stay there. There was all most a fight, because someone was actually swimming in the pool, the parents were mad. Not good at all.

The people were great, the only bad part were the crows in the eucalyptus trees with all the bugs and droppings on the motorhome and gear.

This was the first time we stayed at this KOA and we were very impressed. There is something for everyone in form of accommodations and activities. The park was very clean and well maintained. We've already made reservations for our next visit.

Great place except the "7 mph speed" limit apparently only applies to cars/trucks. Kids and adults were riding all sorts of electric two-wheelers all over the campground with ZERO regard for cars/trucks. Zooming all over the place. Children with no protective gear riding throughout the park and would come out of a street without looking. Didn't hit anyone bc I was going 5mph.

Had a great stay, slept 2 nights in a tent. Employees are friendly and helpful, Comfort Station was clean water was hot. I'd stay again.

Easy to find, be mindful. Google maps will take you through toll roads. Make sure you have your toll roads selected as off on your map questing adventures getting here. Very clean. Very nice! Lots of fun people. Lots of things to do for kiddos and young adults. Don't mind the leaf blowers at 7:00 in the morning because they're out there cleaning up the campgrounds and doing all the other things to make your visit pleasurable.

From the front office to the events coordinator, we were super impressed. We didn't want to leave. We told our families they need to stay here. There is something to do for everyone!
