Spaces are too close together and dirt roads make for a dusty setting with limited grass that needs water.ing. Facilities and amenities are nice, however too many people close together during summer months due mainly to proximity to Mt Rushmore.

We stayed because my wife had appointments at Mayo clinic. The only thing we would like to see changed is the pool hours. It does no open until ten and closes at six. After being out all day, we had to call the office which had already closed and ask to have them open it back up. Please extend the hours for the store and the pool.

Friendly staff that answered any questions, but probably the smallest KOA I have stayed at.

Office closed at 6. Odd for summer hours. Our campsite was at an odd angle. We “borrowed” the picnic table from next door because our site didn’t have one. The restrooms/showers were clean but they were literally across the city street from the campground. No garbage pickup like most KOAs. I’ve stayed at many KOAs throughout the US and this was the “weirdest” set up.

A beautiful KOA, cozy with a nice pool. the showers were very very clean and large. The folks working there were very friendly and very helpful. a lot of room for kids to run around and play.

Water was turned off the 1st night without any communication. Hope future issues are better communicated.

Just what we needed! We had a wonderful stay, and the 4th of July activities were perfect! There was so much to do. We loved Music Bingo, and the Duck Derby was so much fun. The management and staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We’re already planning our next visit. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

This campground saved our trip. The campground we were supposed to stay at flooded so we needed a last minute stop for 4th of July weekend. They got us the 2 sites we needed and far exceeded our expectations. Extremely friendly owners and staff. Fun games/activities for the kids with music bingo being so much fun. Definitely play if you get the chance. Music for all ages/generations.

Staff were friendly and kind. Park was pretty cramped but overall fine. Pool was maintained.

We had a great time. We were bummed we couldn’t use the pool the first day, the heater wasn’t working and the water was too cold, but were able to use it the second day. Clean bathrooms. Loved the park and frisbee golf park.

Clean site. Courteous staff. Sites are pretty close together, but fine for overnight. Hookups are all more toward the front of the rig, so we had to hook up sewer just prior to leaving.

Cute campground well kept with pool and dog park. Restrooms were clean but women’s was out of toilet paper. Feels rural even though 7 miles to downtown Rochester mn. We would stay again. Also have a laundry $4 for washer. $3 for dryer

Stayed in the couples cabin. Excellent! Staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Have stayed here several times over the past few years when traveling to/from Michigan to Yellowstone. Will continue staying here in the future.

We had an amazing stay! The entire campground is spotless from the laundry room and bathhouse to the pool and campsites. Everything is incredibly clean and well maintained. You can tell there’s a lot of pride taken in keeping the campground looking its best, with beautifully maintained grass, neat campsites, and constant improvements throughout the property. Fantastic stay. Hosts were super accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay easy and personal. Pool was super clean, and the kids loved the playground too. Got in a round of horse shoes, and they had extra activities during our Fathers Day weekend as well. Music Bingo was my favorite! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Amazing campground! Chino and Leni go above and beyond to make every stay enjoyable. The campground is spotless and very well maintained. The Father’s Day activities were so much fun and made the weekend extra special. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a great camping experience!

This KOA is worth your time and stay, and should you find anything that makes you feel otherwise, don’t hesitate to reach out to the owners. My experience is that they will anything reasonable and within their power to make sure you have a 5 star stay!

The Rochester/Marion KOA has always been a good stop for us, but the new owners have been hard at work making it a great place to stay. The grounds have been improved. Patios have been refreshed, new Paw Pens and fire pits added, and new trees planted. The place looks great! And, best of all, the new owners are friendly and helpful. Well done!

Cabin description exceeds our expectations. The managers were great and helped with anything we needed. The pool was very clean. We had a surprise bonus of a refrigerator which we didn't expect.bathrooms were clean. Hot showers.
