The gentleman that was working was very nice and helpful but was the only one working. The property in general was very unkempt and while rain is unavoidable, tile work and/or gravel would be extremely helpful. There was also an altercation behind one of the cabins that got very heated and uncomfortable. This property is probably the worst KOA we've visited and we are VIP members.

Unless you really are desperate for a place to camp overnight, don’t go to this KOA. We just did an overnight and the grounds are not well maintained, the pool was in poor condition, the bathrooms were so bad my wife and I would not use them. I have never seen a KOA in this condition before.

Sorry your stay fell short. As new owners, we know the park needs work and we are investing to bring it up to KOA standards. Many guests already love staying here, but we recognize there’s room to improve and hope you’ll see the progress on a future visit.

Who is running this place? The showers are moldy. The toilet paper dispensers are broken. The "store" closes so early.. opens late. No check out options. No key drop. The pool is locked and you have to ask for it to be opened and then have some old lady be mad about it. You go to any KOA around the country and there are kids and tons of guests. Where is everyone?

The KOA is fine -- small, quiet. But the construction is a real issue coming from the East. It added about 15 extra minutes to our journey. I would likely stay somewhere else until the road work is sorted out.

Sorry for the inconvenience with the road detour. The construction near the I-90/52 interchange has added extra travel time, but it’s temporary and expected to be done before the 2026 season. We’re glad you found the park quiet and peaceful!

We rented a cabin, the AC wasn’t on when we checked in & the refrigerator wasn’t working. At night there was an issue with campers being loud up until midnight. There was no after hours number to call so we couldn’t get in touch with management.

Really off the beaten path. I’d consider it somewhat overpriced. For that kind of money, I would expect something like a resort.

Thanks for your feedback! The detour makes us seem “off the beaten path” right now, but normally we’re just a minute off I-90. The Hwy 52/I-90 construction is temporary, and we look forward to being much easier to reach once it’s complete

Management was excellent. Helped park, asked if needed any directions around the area. Drive ways are a little narrow in the corners. Easy to hit one of the large rocks.

We encountered friendly staff that led us to our site. The spaces are tight to get into with a big rig because of right angle turns into the pull thru site. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. We did not have an occasion to visit the store, restrooms, showers or laundry so can’t comment on those amenities. Grass has overgrown the parking pads, but they were level. Hookups were great. The cabins were excellent! Really appreciated the AC and fridge. The pool and bathrooms were well maintained. The recreational activities were not what was advertised. Our kids were disappointed in the RC track not being mowed or maintained. But other than that, we had a great stay and no complaints!

Tree limbs are hanging too low. the sewer connection was too far to hook up. The water connection was at the road. The whole set up for a motor home is ridiculous. There is only one KOA campground that was descent. That one is near Chicago, IL. I Think your prices are outrages for the amenities that you provide.

We had a great campsite. Staff was very friendly and helpful with campsite selections. Showers and bathroom very clean. Nice pool. This was our third stay.

Not KOA standards. The only exit to this was closed causing a detour of 10 miles on dirt country roads. Looks like an afterthought or an old city campground that KOA purchased. Customer service was good but that’s it. Sites were few, small, unkept, and not even close to being worth $82/night. Maybe $30. I’ve stayed in resorts for $80. That’s criminal. Nothing positive about this location.

This is a nice KOA, that has lots of potential to be really nice. The grounds are grassy, hookups worked but some were in odd places. Little things like gravel for the sites & roads, new fire pits, trimming dead tree limbs would go a long way. The office could use a refresh & update. The staff were very nice! PS: A note indicating for inclement weather the bathrooms are the safest place

Staff was very friendly and informative. Everything was clean. It is a smaller campground. Some campers had electrical problems later in day, but staff got an electrician in to correct the problem quickly.

The amenities at the campground are very dated and tired. The volleyball net was in shambles, the picnic tables at the pool were actually dangerous because of splinters. There are only 3 lounge chairs at the pool. The 1st night we stayed the whole row next to us had no power. The facility is clean and they seem to do their best, but updating is definitely needed to make it KOA quality.

No fault of the KOA but with the Road Shut Down it was not easy to get in and out. Site was nice, pool was refreshing.

All four sites in a row we all lost power, never saw anyone from KOA. Electrician came and ran a temp feed and got us 30amp at 9:30pm and came back in am and shut us off most of day to repair in 90* heat. Never offered anything in compensation even after telling how unhappy we were to be without power twice for $90 a night! Not well run campground and not what I expected from KIA

Paid for a pull through, but the hookups were so poorly spaced; I was forced to unhook. The sites were very tight. The host was no help whatsoever.

Upon booking, I booked a specific site type. When I received the welcome email the week of our stay, they had changed & downgraded my site type without informing me AND were going to charge me for the upgraded site I had initially booked. I called & questioned this; the lady gave me such attitude, then proceeded to try & charge me $10 MORE per night than my booking email stated.

It was quiet and clean. I noticed in advance that the website stated the pool was closed for maintenance but all the confirmation emails said it was open. I texted the KOA and didn't receive any answer until after we checked out. We checked the first day and pool was locked up with a chain and the LP gas filler was broken. After the first day, it was too cold to use the pool anyway.

Our stay began with 3 in our party getting stung each twice by ground wasps within 2 hours of getting there. Office was closed so left message on emergency number however didn’t get a response until over 12 hours later. Office person did come by and spray next day. No more stings. It was a noisy campground however with so many people there that is to be expected. Would I stay there again, no.

The Rochester/Mario Koa has welcoming friendly staff. Our couples cozy cabin was perfect. It has a queen size bed, pet friendly, clean, linens and towels included in the price. The property is well kept. Large areas to walk and in a nice quiet little town. It was perfect for us.

Cabin description exceeds our expectations. The managers were great and helped with anything we needed. The pool was very clean. We had a surprise bonus of a refrigerator which we didn't expect.bathrooms were clean. Hot showers.
