We live locally and came to enjoy Winterfest at Kings Dominion. We stayed a few extra days to enjoy being away from home. The campground is well maintained, clean, the staff is friendly and so are the campers.

We had a wonderful stay at the campground. You have the best camp store I have seen and I have been to many KOAs. Only suggestions is to put some sweatshirts or t-shirts for sale. We like to buy one wherever we go. The campground was clean and our spot (173) was perfect! The grill was almost spotless and the big firepit was a hit.

Our initial site was 30 amps and we need 50. The person that checked us in was able to find another spot to meet our needs. Very pleasant and helpful.

Friendly staff, fantastic store, great sites. Bathhouses do not provide anyplace to out your belongings to keep them dry.

People that sign you up for sites not in the park to know what lot to Mach up your rig Plus I hare sites where one trailer goes each way My slide out was 12” from my neighbors

I've stayed here a number of times in the past few years. Always a pleasant experience. Love the family style shower facilities, but they certainly need to keep up with the "shower mold" and related discoloration caused by the build up of the "pink algae" at the shower base. I still love the place, but the shower issues are fairly prevalent across ALL of these campgrounds.

We made a reservation for one night & booked a 30 amp site. On the day of our check in a 50 amp site was available. We spoke with the staff and they were very helpful in accommodating us and switched our site. We were very pleased that it was pleasure to speak with the staff. Bathrooms were extremely clean and heated to a comfortable temp. Store is very well stocked.

The campground was very clean including the bathrooms/bathhouses. Lots were nice size.

Quick overnight stay. Super friendly and quick check in. Site was level with all the hook ups. Would stay here again. Only thing I could say was I thought we were a little close to the site next to us. Our slides were within a foot of each other but that didn’t seem to be the normal for most sites around us

This was our first time out with our new tiny camper, therefore we needed the use of your restroom facilities. The restrooms were clean except there was no hot water in the sinks or shower.

Just an overnight stop for me in my motorhome with a toad. Comfortable and quiet with full hookups, my spot was on a concrete pad that required only minimal effort to level up on. Staff in the office was most friendly and helpful. Located only about a mile off I-95, making it very convenient and easy to find. Lots of amenities, but since it was just a short stop for me, I didn't not take advantage

Site a very small, this campgroung can barely receive big unit No body bring you to your site, even at night (dark) my husband help a big camper with his flash light. It is very dark .

It's a nice camp ground over all, but why there are no hooks or benches in the shower to hang up you clean clothes. No shelf in the shower for the soap and shampoo. Shower head sprays in the wrong direction and leaks at the threads. Small things that are easy to fix and that would make the stay much more pleasant. .

We were very pleased with our first time at this KOA. The campground was clean, the bathrooms were clean, employees were very pleasant and we would see the grounds being patrolled frequently. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in a cabin. The camp was clean. We missed the camp store, but from what I saw, they have EVERYTHING! The cabin was beautiful and so nice, more than I expected. The theme in the campground was family and we saw everyone walking, playing, or enjoying a bonfire.. 10/10 will DEFINITELY stay again I didn't take pictures, I only made a video of our cabin and can't upload, sorry... But you should rent a cabin! 😁

We just spent the weekend here and overall had a nice experience. This review is based on our stay in the 30 amp back in sites at the front of the campground. PROS: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, trash pick up at site Nice woodsy feel in parts of the campground Pool and playground looked nice Fenced in dog area and "dog bath" at shower house Close proximity to I95 and Kings Dominion (with free shuttle) CONS: Some gravel RV sites very uneven, we were fortunate to have a decent site although hard to back in due to all the trees, narrow drive, other sites around us were not as good. Super bright lights are turned on at night toward front of campground which takes away from the "camping" feel. Lack of hot water in shower! Another unusual thing is that there was a huge event going on at the campground over the weekend with LOUD music blaring until 11 PM - I doubt this is a regular thing but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. In a nutshell - if you want a convenient place to stop overnight off 95 or want a family friendly place to stay to enjoy Kings Dominion, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was in the area for something specific.

If you get a chance rent KOA cabin was very pleased. Went to Rodeo. This is a camp 🏕 ground.
