We stayed in a cabin and it was wonderful. Plenty of room. Hot water. Small refrigerator. 4 TV's. People that worked at camp store were very friendly.

2 adults & 2 teens used the shuttle to enjoy KD open till midnight for Halloween. 3pm check-in. Beds were comfy. Place was clean. Check in staff were polite & welcoming, offered goodie bags to the kids and ice cream treats. C17 is set up 2 full bathrooms on a common hall area. Queen bed in a bedroom, 2 queen beds in 4ft tall loft area, 2 futons in living space. I wish we had brought 2 more kids.

We had a very easy check in and check out process. The cabin was clean and well stocked with what we needed for the night. Everything was comfortable and very nice. The staff is always friendly and we usually have a good time. We will be back!

Very nice and clean, close to Kings Dominion, provides a free shuttle to and from the park. We have stayed before and already have our next two stays booked. Camp store, friendly employees. The campground and the store offer a Kings Dominion season pass discount. The campground also offers other discounts.

We been staying in the cabin every-time we visit KD And we always satisfied with our stay. But not this time, there’s a lot of black ants in the sink and the floor is sticky but we clean up and so inconvenient for us.

We had ants in our cabin…got in all our food. The cabin smelled moldy, carpets on stairs and loft were heavily soiled. It needed to have hand soap, paper towels, a cooktop, better comforters, and nicer grill for the amount that we paid.

The cabin was great and very convenient for visiting King’s Dominion. I will definitely stay there again.

Short over night stay but cabin was nice and beds were cozy. Very clean inside and outside. Very spacious for 6 adults and 2 kids. Will have to stay again.

We always enjoy our stay at the Kings Dominion KOA. The only thing that would make it better was if the cabins were at least stocked with some bare necessities such as 1 roll of paper towels, facial tissue, silverware, plates/cups so when we get to go's to bring back, we have some needed items.The showers are not comfortable for anyone because they are too short too.

Campground is beautiful! Got a Deluxe Cabin. The cabin was so musty, stuffy, & old, it was like stepping into an abandoned cabin in the woods from 1978. Even the towels smelled old & musty. We had to open every window to air it out. I immediately got stuffed up & sneezed constantly, it was horrible trying to sleep. Decent but expected way better for amount charged. Not difficult to make it better.

Cabin was nice. No hot water, but we made due. May want to check locks on bathroom door, I got locked in but my friend came to the rescue! Overall it was nice, already booked for next year!

The staff was very nice. The property was always patrolled by law enforcement or by grounds workers which made the property seem safe. Everything was clean and well taken care of.

The cabin was really nice, except for some lights not working. I was expecting the pool to be available when zi arrived at 5:30 pm, but everything was closed up. Disappointed.

I like the shuttle from the campgrounds to the King’s Dominion. Save on $30 per day parking.

Camp ground is great, shuttle to park is wonderful, but the only problem we had was an ant problem in cabin C19. Ants were on the table, in sink, and counter.

We were in 2 cabins, only stayed the one night but Cabins were very cute. Loved the two bathrooms, Futons are a little old, but the Main bedroom mattress was very comfy. The shuttle bus was a nice extra. After a severe storm, everyone was leaving and the bus was stuck in traffic. My son ran back to the cabin and came back to pick us up. 2 shuttles might be helpful. Very Friendly Staff.

It doesn’t make much sense to me being advertised as a place to stay while visiting Kings Dominion and then having hours that you can use things at the campground that pretty much mirror Kings Dominion hours. Staff was professional and very helpful with any questions we had. Our cabin was 10/10 perfect size for our little group and very clean upon arrival. We celebrated my son's birthday and we had an all around amazing experience at the camp grounds. We will definitely return in the future!

We went off season for a local event and didn't spend a ton of time at the campground (or at KD since it was closed), but my son appreciated the playground, the staff was kind and friendly, and the bathrooms were neat and clean. There were two downsides I will mention. First is the firewood was pretty damp - gave off a lot of steam and smoke. Not that my kids cared once I broke out the s'mores. Second is that it rained one day we were there and while our site was fine, many of the sites in the trees turned into giant puddles. Not so bad that they were impassable, but you might need to walk through an inch of water to get to your car - just as a word of warning to anyone parked especially in the woods. Note: we went back a second time and it was just like the first, still a great place. Didn't try the firewood this time, but the staff was still kind - they even tried to save me some money! Bathrooms are still clean. Still a great value for what we got. Thanks again!

Very clean, went in the office season so it was quiet. Not like most KOAs, a lot more corporate than we are used to. Not overly outgoing or friendly in the office/store. The prices for items in the store are more like theme park prices, which was a little bit of a shock. The cleaning and grounds staff were friendly and working hard.
