Great overnight stop midway back from Myrtle Beach! Used the pool and sat out at night. Very nice and clean campground! Only negative, I broke my sewer adapter on the dump station because the foot pedal would not allow me to remove my adapter because it limits the opening range of the cap. My fault it was dark and should have used a different adapter without a lip.

We stay here often when we are traveling north south or vise versa. Always nice and ean. Personnel are always friendly.

Stayed a week to visit my son and daughter in law, and, of course, the new granddaughter. Everyone I met at the campground was very nice, polite, and very willing to help make my day just a little bit better. We will certainly be back.

Being cashless is an inconvenience to some . If you have a laundry you should at least have change available for the machines. Not everyone uses the mobile pay system.

This was my first serious attempt at car camping with my Honda Cr-V Hybrid. Being what I consider a safe campground with plenty of amenities made it comfortable to give it a shot without knowing exactly what I would screw up. Loved the clean and convenient shower and restroom near my spot. So easy.

We had a nice corner site as some looked very tight. Loved the shuttle to theme park! Also your camp store was very nice!! It is a beautiful campground with trees galore!

Good stay, but sites are we rid. I was towing a car behind my motorhome and it was sticking out in road a little. Was worried it would get hit in the dark

Very clean facility, friendly staff, nice entertainment options, nice campsite are all the positives. Only negative is very poor TV cable service.

The playground is minimal. We expressed need to be close to a bathroom, but the one we were near had only 2 shower/toilet rooms and they were usually in use with a line of people waiting to shower so we had lots of peed pants as 3 year old couldn't make it to farther facilities in time. We were left waiting for 45 minutes for the shuttle at Kings Dominion in a cold rain.

We have stayed at this location twice in the last year. Both times at the entrance to the park there was a get together (party) that played loud music. Last year it went on until 10:00 or later. This year we left after 7:00pm and went elsewhere to stay. This was very disappointing after a long drive. The employees were very nice and your best asset and the sites are well kept.

Our stay was good except for the people across from us. We were in site 229 and the people in tents across from us were playing there music so loud. It was very annoying. I think when your people travel around they should be aware of the noise. We had a 2 year old with us and the music kept him awake. I had to walk over once and ask them to turn it down.

We stayed the weekend before Memorial Day and was pleasantly surprised the pool was open. My kids absolutely love the pool at the campground and prefer it over even going to Kings Dominion! Sites are perfectly kept maintained and clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful! Love it & 10/10 recommend.

My family and I love this campground. So much for my kids to stay busy if we aren't at the park. The campground is clean and the staff is very friendly.

Bathrooms need more cleaning attention. Especially more hooks in the shower stalls. One hook is not sufficient to hang your towel, toiletry bag and clothes. Other than the bathroom critic. The campground is nice and conveniently located with shuttle to Kings Dominion.

Very well maintained. Different from other KOAs, Kings Dominion has trash cans available everywhere, so the campground stays clean. The shuttle to Kings Dominion is a plus, you don't have to pay for parking and shuttles are coming and going every 15-20 minutes.

We started our full-time RV living adventures in Feb. and have stayed at several KOAs and enjoyed them, until this one. The customer service was extremely lacking here. We never heard a thank you and felt like the staff were very cold. One person even had me in tears yelling at me telling me how to direct my husband as he was backing in. We will NOT stop here next time we are in this area.

All of the back in sites are shared pedestals therefore half of us have to run utilities under our RV. Sewer connections are very awkwardly located. That is a nogo for me. If you get a pull thru they are much nicer.

We always stay here on our way up to CT and it's always consistently clean and the staff is awesome. We didn't make a reservation and it was the first time showing up after hours without a reservation and their way of doing this was great, no issues picking a spot, just filled out the paperwork and left it in the drop box. Perfect after a long day of driving.

The campground is clean and the sites are big enough for our motorhome towing a Jeep Gladiator. We always stay here when we come north.

We were put on a sloping gravel site and when I tried to level, the front wheels were lifted off the ground. The office was closed (5:30 PM) and no-one answered at their after hours number. I moved to one of the many empty level, paved sites.

This campground is very conveniently located right off of I-95 and right Nextdoor to Kings Dominion. The park was extremely clean and well kept. The only few “complaints” I have are the dog park is just a patch of grass with a fence, and there was no poop bags in the dispenser. The other complaint that is kinda a big one is the speed at which vehicles are able to travel through the park. We were put in a pull through site right at the front of the park and cars were FLYING through there. The speed limit in the park was 5 MPH and some cars were easily going 30-35 MPH. I'm not sure how to fix the issue but it's very dangerous as they don't have any speed bumps in that area which allows cars to get to those speeds. Overall, I highly recommend the park and will likely return. Just the speed concern that needs to be addressed.

Really loved this campground - clean, level concrete site, walkable, fairly quiet and decent sized sites. It was nicely decorated, and had a beautiful fireplace and seating area in the office. The store has the necessities as well as cute souvenirs. For us it was a place to spend one night while traveling, so the pull through site was perfect.

Nicely kept KOA but strangely, they allow some pretty big puddle-prone areas to exist. Should get the maintenance guy who travels round and round the campground incessantly in the white KOA pickup truck to fill them in with gravel or something.
