This is our fourth time staying. The group campsite is spacious and secluded. There's plenty of room for activities. But what we liked most is that the bathrooms are kept very clean. Being with a group of kids (scouts) is very important to us. In conclusion, we would continue camping any time.

We stayed over Memorial day weekend. The bathrooms were dirty and the showers had cold water. A security guard stopped by our campsite where we were sitting quietly playing a card game to tell us to be quiet, although our neighbors had their video streaming on all night at a loud enough volume that it kept waking us up. I don't believe the security guard talked to them at all.

Great experience! Lots to do. Staff was very kind and helpful. Our daughter enjoyed her first experience camping.

Very impressed with this campsite! The staff were very kind and helpful, facilities were clean and taken care of. Best shower I have ever had at a campground. Definitely will keep KOA in mind for future camping trips.

The campground itself and the shuttle to the park were amazing. However, the campsite we were provided was placed directly under a streetlamp, and with tons of open spaces, we could have been given another site. That site shouldn't even be available without warning the camper. My tent was so bright all night it felt like day time. My whole family got little sleep and it left a lot to be desired.

We loved the campsite, we had a tent site with electric and water. My young children enjoyed it so much as well as the playground! We loved that the campground was pretty spacious and multiple bathhouses. There was one day someone had flooded the restroom but the staff seemed to clean it relatively fast. This is our favorite campground and its worth the hour drive for our family.

We stayed from a Friday to a Monday, everything was great, we were at a tent camping spot with water and electric. Our spot was ‘A’, due to the light on that corner it was incredibly hard to sleep and in the check in note it states no spot changes. Spots B and C were empty our whole stay, we stayed in spot C before and did not have the issue with the light shining through the tent.

We tent camped for three days and visited Kings Dominion. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The facilities were clean and well maintained. We will be back!

The campground was clean and friendly. The camp store was nice, well cared for, and fun for the kids. Two things. 1. The lights on the road for the electric and water tent sites are so bright my tent looked like a supernova at night making it difficult to sleep. 2. The train that goes right next to the campground at night in intervals, including 2 am, is extremely LOUD and will wake you.

We have a 20 person tent �� so I requested a larger site. The camp site did not disappoint! Plenty of space for our vehicle, tent and fire pit. I had a hard time trying to balance all my shower stuff on the stool in the shower room but other than that everything was wonderful and we will be returning next year!

Staff was kind and helpful, especially the shuttle bus drivers. The grounds were easy to navigate and the bathrooms kept very clean and well stocked!

Our group absolutely enjoyed our stay, so much that we wanted to stay another night. The staff was always very helpful and patient with all of our questions pre-booking and pre-arrival. We definitely will be returning! The only issue is that they need more bathrooms w/ showers in each area. There is only 2 bathrooms in each area with all the people in each section. The reason for 4 stars!

Campground itself was very nice but we couldn't sleep due to a train coming through several times a night blowing it's horn, road noise, car alarms and people in a nearby housing complex yelling.

We stayed one night in a tent site. The facilities were well maintained. Bathrooms and the grounds were clean and orderly. We felt safe with our children and it was quiet at night. The shuttle to Kings Dominion was a huge plus!

I loved it, camp store had great hours, showers and restrooms were kept clean, it was quiet at night and the lots are pretty level.i can't wait to go back!!

This campground is very conveniently located right off of I-95 and right Nextdoor to Kings Dominion. The park was extremely clean and well kept. The only few “complaints” I have are the dog park is just a patch of grass with a fence, and there was no poop bags in the dispenser. The other complaint that is kinda a big one is the speed at which vehicles are able to travel through the park. We were put in a pull through site right at the front of the park and cars were FLYING through there. The speed limit in the park was 5 MPH and some cars were easily going 30-35 MPH. I'm not sure how to fix the issue but it's very dangerous as they don't have any speed bumps in that area which allows cars to get to those speeds. Overall, I highly recommend the park and will likely return. Just the speed concern that needs to be addressed.

Really loved this campground - clean, level concrete site, walkable, fairly quiet and decent sized sites. It was nicely decorated, and had a beautiful fireplace and seating area in the office. The store has the necessities as well as cute souvenirs. For us it was a place to spend one night while traveling, so the pull through site was perfect.

Nicely kept KOA but strangely, they allow some pretty big puddle-prone areas to exist. Should get the maintenance guy who travels round and round the campground incessantly in the white KOA pickup truck to fill them in with gravel or something.
