The staff here are awesome. Always friendly and smiling. The campground facilities seem to stay clean and the store is always in order. This is our 15th time here and we love this place. Only complaint we have is the new cash-less policy, but that isn't the staff's fault. Looking forward to coming back in a couple months.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only draw back was that there was a lot of things that didn’t seem to be well cleaned. For example when my toddler dropped his ball and it rolled under the futon I saw what appeared to be a pill on the floor (I couldn’t reach it) and a lot of dust bunnies etc. There was alos dust webs around the shower n such. Aside from that we loved the cabin.

Two night stay on southbound trip. Easy on / off I95. Concrete pad sites are a nice setup. Clean well maintained park. Very close to Kings Dominion park if that's your thing. Beware of high water pressure. If travelling south on I95, try to avoid I95 going thru South Carolina, as it very rough and RV shaking road in places.

Campground has easy access from I-95. People were very friendly and helpful. Sites were roomy and level. Bathrooms were clean and the showers had plenty of hot water.

We had the worse back-in site (224) that we ever been in. Not close to level and a big tree stump at our door. The facilities were nice but the sites need allot of work.

The site was very close to the site beside us this made it difficult to dump our tanks and properly put our hoses away.

Orderly, clean, neat, well maintained. We stayed in a campsite that had a concrete pad with full hookups and it was level and well arranged. The bathroom was clean and large enough to handle the campgrounds. The office/store was clean and had the basics you might need that you forgot.

Campground was nice and the staff was great. Very convenient if you're heading to Kings Dominion for the day. Only complaint is that when we returned back to our camper, we had neighbors...let me just say that their slide out was 6 inches from our awning and they backed over our fire pit. What little outside area we had was definitely downsized after they arrived.

Easy on and off from i95, we arrived after hours and didn't see any employees until late morning the following day. Could use some security at night. Showers were clean and the surroundings are lovely.

We stayed in a cabin. The camp was clean. We missed the camp store, but from what I saw, they have EVERYTHING! The cabin was beautiful and so nice, more than I expected. The theme in the campground was family and we saw everyone walking, playing, or enjoying a bonfire.. 10/10 will DEFINITELY stay again I didn't take pictures, I only made a video of our cabin and can't upload, sorry... But you should rent a cabin! 😁

We just spent the weekend here and overall had a nice experience. This review is based on our stay in the 30 amp back in sites at the front of the campground. PROS: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, trash pick up at site Nice woodsy feel in parts of the campground Pool and playground looked nice Fenced in dog area and "dog bath" at shower house Close proximity to I95 and Kings Dominion (with free shuttle) CONS: Some gravel RV sites very uneven, we were fortunate to have a decent site although hard to back in due to all the trees, narrow drive, other sites around us were not as good. Super bright lights are turned on at night toward front of campground which takes away from the "camping" feel. Lack of hot water in shower! Another unusual thing is that there was a huge event going on at the campground over the weekend with LOUD music blaring until 11 PM - I doubt this is a regular thing but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. In a nutshell - if you want a convenient place to stop overnight off 95 or want a family friendly place to stay to enjoy Kings Dominion, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was in the area for something specific.
